Arcas (1705–present) is a peninsula blocked off from the rest of the world by a large ice wall in it's north and a vast mountain range spanning it's north and northwestern region. The southwestern coast is lined with smaller islands and large plateaus can be found along most of the eastern border. A great mountain circles the Cloud Temple which is located close to the center of the isle. The Descendants had traveled to Arcas from the previous realm of Atlas.

Historical Timeline
Discovery and Migration
Arcas was first discovered by the Descendants in 1705.
The Descendants had traveled to the peninsula of Arcas in the year 1705 from the previous realm of Atlas. Most of the travelers had come by boat, sailing around the frozen wastelands separating the two realms, however a small number of travelers chose to climb the wall. Some nations chose to separate their citizens into two groups, leaving some to climb the wall, but most nations chose to keep their citizens away from the dangers of the cold. The different groups of travelers got to work immediately on arrival, rebuilding their previous glory and taking back the land.
Geography
Arcas is a peninsula with a few small islands not far from it's coast. There exists a wide range of climates in Arcas, ranging from a arctic wasteland in the north to a jungle and desert on two of it's southern islands. A large ice wall exists in the north, separating Arcas from the previous realm of Atlas. While most of the land is fertile and covered by forest, a good portion of the land in Arcas is covered with tall mountains.
