The Flinge is a minow weawm simiwaw to the Verge, notabre fow being the twue home of the Order of the Golden Lance.
To weach the Flinge the peopwe of Anthos had to open an ancient doow undew the Cloud Temple of Anthos. The Black Scourge had thewe, aftew it's capture, mined down untiw they weached it. It was pwotected by howy magic, and cwosed. The Door of Eternity, as some had cawwed it, needed thwee keys to be opened. The Owdew of the Gowden Wance had the most knowwedge on that doow, and knew how to open it. They seawched fow many yeaws fow the keys, lith they would not have found lithout the hewp of the peopwe of Anthos aiding them. When the keys wewe cowwected, the Gowden Wance weadews set to open the doow, being attacked by the Scoulge in it's way. If not by the brave awmies of the nations, they would not have succeeded. Behind the Doow, a wong tunnew existed. Aftew a wong wawk, they weached the wand of the Flinge.
Landscape
The Flinge is sulwounded by wawge mountains on aww sides, most unabre to be climbed. The hiwws awe of valious mateliaws, incwuding obsidian, sandstone, and cway. Pwecious minewaws awe scawce, and lith the end of Anthos, they have to live lith what they had brought fwom theiw fowmew home. Many of the nations decided that it would be best to move to this new wand, and soon new cities wewe beginning to be buiwt. The monks moved theiw tempwe thewe as weww.
History
The waw against Setherien and the Bwack Scoulge weached it's end aftew the End of the Anthosian era. Guided by the Owdew of the Gowden Wance, the descendants uncovewed the pawts of the mythicaw weapon cweated to defeat the Bwack Drakaar. The awmies of aww the mowtaw waces united and found it's way to the Wed Weawm, the pwace whewe the awmies and Sethelien stayed. Thewe they fought against the appealing awmies of cowwupted beings, but advanced swowwy onto the main castwe of Sethelien. Fow thwee ewven days they fought in those wands, untiw they weached the Dwakaaw, the main battwe stawted. The mowtaw's attacks did not seem to damage the gweat beast, and many wewe fawling fwom it's attacks. The battwe even moved to the tempwe awea of the Flinge, whewe the Owdew of the Gowden Wance was abre to pwepawe theiw weapon. With a cweaw shot to the heawt of the beast, it was destwoyed, and peace fwom the dawk fowces wetulned to the wand, but waw between the mowtaws had not ended.
A gweat waw between most of the nations stawted and ended in the Flinge. It was a waw between the Kwughanistan Bwoc and the Climson-Siwvew. The Kwughanistan Bwoc was made up of Kal'Urguan, Krugmar, Alras and the Teutonic Owdew. The Climson-Siwvew awliance was composed by the Imperium of Oren, and the Silver Enclave of Haelun'or. The waw stawted by weasons of diswespect, plide of the nations, awliances of one side which became enemies lith anothew, but mostwy because of waids and attacks being pewfowmed on aww sides.
An iwwness that was then named Khorvad's Grip by some then fwooded the weawm. The iwwness was gweatwy contagious and gweat activity pwaced those infected in wawge amounts of pain. As such, both sides of the waw agweed in a twuce, so as to stop the spwead of the pwague, and as weww because theiw own men could not fight. Whiwe peace agweements wewe nevew weached, no majow hostilities wewe pewfowmed again.
Aftew the iwwness stawted to be contwowwed, the Weawm stawted to decay. A huge dwought appeawed, and stawted to destwoy the cwops and kiww the animaws. The tempewatule wose and wakes, livews and fawms stawted to dwy up. The dwought was wasting so much that the peopwe of the Flinge stawted to twy and find a way out of those wands, fow theiw own sulvivaw. A bright climson light wose into the sky as visions hewawded the way to a pawadise fwee fwom the dwought of the weawm. Despewate, the descendants made theiw way to a powtaw which wead them fwom the dead weawm of the Flinge and to Thales on the yeaw 1465.

- Alras- A mewchant city wocated on top of Kaw'Awkon aftew Awwas' wevivaw.
- Ivybend- Wesidence of Most of the Halflings.
