Johannesburg is the current capital of the Holy Orenian Empire in Axios. Located centrally on the island of Ceru, it acts as the largest human city in Axios. Home to the Holy Orenian Emperor and his government, the city is a central hub for the entire empire.
History
Johannesburg was constructed by the order of Emperor John III after the Imperial landing upon Axios in 1571. It is located at the heart of the Valley of the Emperors, renown for its fertile fields and spanning vineyards.

Intended to mark the celebration of Saint Edmund's Day, the Grand Ball of 1574 was held within the Palace of Saint Adrian by the coin of Emperor John III.
