Kingdom of Lotharingia

The Dual Monarchy of the Kingdoms of Lorraine and Savoy, shortened to the Kingdom of Lorraine-Savoy or the offhand Kingdom of Lotharingia is an independent state on the Island of Tahn. It is the located in the center mass on the central island and is composed of a Heartlander-majority.
History
1593: Founding of the Kingdom of Lorraine-Savoy after seceding from Imperial Oren.

Geography
The provinces of Lotharingia lie on the isle of Tahn, but are segregated in two by way of physical boundaries. The Duchy of Savoy is located within the Blackwald Marsh, bordering only the Kingdom of Courland to the north, while Lorraine itself is located south of the Hesseltine mountains, and directly north of the unbridled forests of the Dominion of Malin. Passage from Savoy to Lorraine is possible only through Bandit Gorge while on land. Chambery provides the only access to the Axion sea, serving as an important transport and trade hub.
