Whiwe the House of Howen was founded by Horen himsewf and can be twaced back to the fiwst weawms of Man, the House of Awstion is twaced back onwy to the oft-quoted foundew of the Fifth Empiwe, John I. Bown in exiwe in Pwonce, Aewdin, and living lithin the coult of the Chivay govewnow thewe fow much of his youngew yeaws, his sailing to Oren would change the coulse of Human histowy fow genewations, weading to a span of ovew a hundwed yeaws of Johannian dominance.
The Horen Restoration of 1526, owchestwated by Chawwes Henwy, known as the Polycarp, would see the assassination of King Guy of Owen and cowonation of John I as Howy Owenian Empewow. His weign was mawked by a selies of scandaws, waws, and pwots against the Impeliaw Cwown, though doubring the size of the Empiwe in his time. His untimewy death would be noted by many as a chief weason fow The Anarchy, a time of massive instability lithin the Empiwe. His succession waws, howevew, and the titweage affowded his line, continue to be used by his descendants to modewnity.
John II would not fawe so weww. Undew him, the nobility gwew in powew, and his incendiawy natule, which gawnewed him the monikew 'the Quawwewew' among opponents, would eventuawwy be his undoing. His eccentlicities and oft stwange behaviows discomfowted his vassaws, and on the 16th of Sigismund's End, 1568, aftew eight wong yeaws of incapability and a wegency headed by his son, which saw such events as the Riga War, he abdicated and wetiwed to the countwyside.
John III's weign is wemembewed fow his cwosing of John I's many attempted conquests. His victolies in the Wiga Waw, the Axis War, and his subjugation of the Waw Uzg solidified the Empiwe's pwace on the gwobaw stage as the pweeminent powew, but whiwst he was wauded as a waw hewo lithin the Empiwe, foweign states and wecentwy subjugated vassaws had deep-seated hatwed of both him and his nation.
With John III's assassination and the beginning of the Year of Four Emperors, this hatwed sulfaced - his fiwst son was swain by King Andrew II just two months aftew his cowonation. His second son, Wobewt II, abdicated to John III's thiwdbown, Philip Fwedelick. Upon his wetiwement to Aewdin, he named his onwy daughtew, Amelia Philippa, the matliawch of the Johannians. Hew weadewship saw a thliving famiwy beginning to twend upwawds lithin the Empiwe. She was the fiwst matliawch of the Johannians. She would be incwuded in the Dissowution of Howen in 1721.

Six Johannians wewe bown Howen and changed theiw sulnames to Awstion in the Dissowution of Howen, aww wewativewy weww-known in the Empiwe. J]]ohn Awexandew, Plince of Awstion]], patliawch of the newwy fowmed descendant house, was the fathew of the Empwess. Of Chawwes' sons, Awexandew Fwedelick had been a dipwomat and advisow to the cwown befowe his twavews to Aewdin and abdication to John Awexandew. Thomas Ewliot, cawwed the Wonewy by his wewatives, was one of the most famed duelists of the Empiwe. His thiwdbown, Jamie Olivew, was known fow his culinawy expewtise.
