The King of Norland is the ruler of the Kingdom of Norland. Historically the only way a man may be granted the title is by way of Kingsmoot; however during Caedric I's reformation of the Kingdom of Norland he had the Kingsmoot abolished and centralized the title to only be held by Clan Edvardsson with the title being passed to his primogeniture. The King of Norland is known to have one of the strongest, most well-trained military in the known world. Though under the reign of Javier Ruric the Kingdom of Norland had no standing military, he simply leads through his expert military skill, winning many of the battles he fought, being dubbed Javier 'The Undefeated' Ruric. The Kingdom of Norland has been reformed three times, in Vailor, Axios and Arcas. Thoromir I formed the Kingdom of Norland during his reign in Vailor, Artyom I formed it after the Staunton Rebellion, and Caedric I formed it after the Rubern War. This title has belonged to the members of House Ruric, and their cadet branch the House of Rosik, after having restored it after the Norlandic defeat during the War of Two Emperors. The title was then assumed by the House of Horen, through right of conquest when Renatian forces sacked the Norlandic capital, Ruriksgrad. Before granting back to the House Ruric in the year 1715 for their loyalty during the War of Two Emperors

House of Horen (1662-1715)

The House of Horen claimed the title for a brief moment going into Arcas. They annexed the lands of the Kingdom of Norland after they sacked Ruriksgrad during the First Atlas Coalition War. After years of pretending to the the title of Kings of Norland, the title was then claimed by Torsten Rosik. The Horen family retained their claim to the title after defeating Torsten 'The Pretender' Rosik in the Third Atlas Coalition War, a war that lasted for two years.

House of Rosik (1689-1690)

The House of Rosik, a cadet branch family of Clan Eiriksson, proclaimed themselves as the Kingdom of Norland led by Torsten Rosik. The claim was later lost as a result of the Third Atlas Coalition War.
