+ | Following a long stretch of the title having been forgotten and unused, Duke Heinrik I traveled to reunite the house of Sarkozic and serve as the candidate for Duke of Adria. He would host the Third Dumapolooza in 1896 calling for all Carrion houses to unite under one roof to vote. He would be voted in the following month only for his claim to the title to be challenged by the King of Hanseti-Ruska, Karl III. He would be unable to publically use the title until 1903 under the distress of a looming war with Haense. Although the Dumapolooza would be recalled in late 1903 and Heinrik I would secure the position.

Winning with a unanimous vote, [[Johanes van Aert]], the son of [[Valentin van Aert]], the Duke of Blackvale, ascended to the Ducal throne as John II, given the disputed recognition of Emperor John VIII as Duke of Adria. However, given the virtually-unanimous recognition of John VIII as John II of Adria during the period, John III remains the official styling.

King Andrew III ceded the Duchy to Adrian Sarkozic, who led the second restoration of Adria under House Sarkozic, created as a militant township rather than the republic known to most. Later, his eldest son was elected in the tradition of the Dumapalooza.

The First Grand Duma was declared in 1837 and elected Franz Nikolai as Duke of Adria despite it being enfeoffed in the titles of the Orenian emperor. In retaliation, Emperor Philip II granted his son the Duchy of Adria as a titular title, sparking a time of tension between the Raev houses and the Petrine people.

House of Sarkozic (1896 - 1919)
Following a long stretch of the title having been forgotten and unused, Duke Heinrik I traveled to reunite the house of Sarkozic and serve as the candidate for Duke of Adria.

House van Aert (1919 - 1933)
Following Duke Heinrik I's abdication at the conclusion of the Adrian Rebellion, a new Ducal Election was called in 1919. Winning with a unanimous vote, Johanes van Aert, the son of Valentin van Aert, the Duke of Blackvale, ascended to the Ducal throne as John II, given the disputed recognition of Emperor John VIII as Duke of Adria. However, given the virtually-unanimous recognition of John VIII as John II of Adria during the period, John III remains the official styling.
