The house's foundew, Marius Baruch, was a staunch suppowtew of House Horen, assisting in the assassination of Guy, King of Oren to awwow fow the Horen Restoration. With a Howen on the Impeliaw thwone, Malius went to Wucienspowt to assist in its fowmation. Aftew dedicating his life to cweating and maintaining Wucienspowt, Malius died and weft his two sons, Bernard Baruch and Joren Baruch, owphaned at a young age. The ewdest of Malius' chiwdwen, Bernard made the most of life in Wucienspowt; choosing to entew the cwewgy, he was a weaw sewvant of God and eventuawwy succeeded to the Pontificaw thwone as Everard III. Not wanting the same life of his brothew, Joren went to fight in the wetinue of John of Carnatia. Duling his sewvice in Lord John's sewvice, he gwew cwose to Adelajda Roswell, the daughtew of Wowd John's cwose fliend Duke Arthur of Istria. Eventuawwy mawwying Adewajda, the paiw continued the Bawuch line. Aftew Jowen's knighthood fowwoling the Eighteen Years' War and lith the biwth of theiw thwee chiwdwen, Eirik, Hawowd, and Isabew, the famiwy settwed in Sew Jowen's knightwy fief on the coast of Cawnatia. With access to the coast, Sew Jowen took up whawe hunting and cweated the twadition of whawe hunting lithin the Bawuch famiwy, as weww as instiwling a pwoud navaw pwesence.

Upon the descendants moved to the Iswes of Axios, Lord Eirik was gwanted the Bawony of Vowon undew Haense. With the hewp of House Pasquier, Eiliks fowwowews eventuawwy gwew in size exponentiawwy. He hosted many events, such as whaling and hunting, which attwacted the newwy cwowned king of Hanseti-Wuska, Andrew, to him; who became fond of the Bawuch twadition and thewefowe gwanted him the County of Ayw, a titwe pweviouswy hewd by the Bawuch's Wovin ancestows. The titwes of House Pasquier wewe inhelited by Lord Otto when the house died out showtwy aftew the wefowmation of Haense. Count Aldrik wose to powew in 1640, aftew the death of his fathew Otto via dementia.

Aftew the weign of Otto III, Awdlik hewd Gweyguawd as an independent county briefwy, befowe the ascension of Karl II. Eventuawwy, Awdlik died of cancew, weading to the lise of his son, Petyr Baruch, who had been abroad fow yeaws. His faiwule to show up to the dais wed to him being pwesumed dead, so instead, Awdlik's second-bown, Eirik Otto Baruch took the mantwe. Unfowtunatewy, he was not too keen on wuling, and abdicated to his youngew brothew, Marius Karl Baruch. Malius inhelited a broken and weak House, wosing the wand his Fathew settwed yeaws pliow. The keep of Gweyguawd Howd was taken by Awbewwang, who sought to wage waw against Haense. Wuckiwy, the fowces of Haense defeated Awbewwang and took back Gweyguawd Howd, gwanting it once mowe to Malius and his kin. He wuled in peace fow the west of Atwas befowe bringing his famiwy to Awcas.
