Henrik Otto also known as Henry I, (16th of Malin's Welcome, 1662 -Present) called the Able or The Old Crow, of the House of Ludovar, is the third Duke of Kvasz under the rule of Ludovar following after the trial and death of his cousin, Jakob Ludovar.

Early Life

Henrik Otto Ludovar was born to Jakob Ludovar and Theresa Vyronov in the city of Markev in the year of 1662. He was tutored both combat and politics by Otto who was his uncle before he was sent off to be a ward under a Duke in Aeldin at the age of ten.

Years would pass until his return to Atlas where he’d meet with his family assisting in certain affairs. During the Third Atlas Coalition War he would be knighted by King Robert in order to be apart of the newly formed Knights of Bihar. With the war later over he’d then be granted the title of Baron of Lizat from his cousin, Duke Jakob of Kvasz for his success within Haense.

Reign

Baron of Lizat

Upon being granted the title of Baron of Lizat he'd begin to seek to achieve his dream of being a politician to which he’d run for Imperial Parliament in 1693 though would result to a defeat to Fabius Bracchus by a single point. Though he’d later be granted a Lord Temporal seat in Parliament the next term. After years would pass he’d later be married to Lady Kattarina Stafyr, a marriage to which would give him three children.

Once arriving at the new land of Arcas, he’d begin to continue doing his knightly duties. Few years would have passed after their arrival to the new land to which he’d later be granted the title of Duke of Kvasz by order of King Marius II due to the Ludovar Trial.

Duke of Kvasz

Months had passed since he was granted the title of Duke before Ser Dominic Grimm made his return to Haense to which he’d begin to ask for Henrik in court by King Marius II for the return of his title of Baron of Lizat. This would last very shortly as Henrik would return the title to him due to their friendship.

After three years had passed of Henrik becoming Duke, he had begun to work with Lord Leopold Stafyr the new Palatine of the Realm on where he should begin his progress of building his duchy. Though the realms of Haense and Curon would then fall to a border dispute as Pembroke had stationed north of Haense halting his progress. After the two nations finally ended their dispute with the treaty named the Warwick Resolution [1] ending the potential war threat he'd then continue his work on finding a location for his Duchy.

By the time he had worked out on where to begin to make schematics in order to begin building, a war would break out due to the dissolution of the Empire of Man by Emperor Antonius I which had formed two Empires. Upon the news, he would begin to rally to his King in the city of Reza along with the newly crowned Emperor Joseph I thusly leading to the Battle of Upper Rodenburg. The battle would be the first engagement of the War of the Two Emperors and being an Orenian victory.

After years of war and suffering a defeat, the war would be over to which he'd then return his attention towards building up his duchy. Though his ambition to gain a piece of land for his family fell short as he continued to get too busy to work out anything to make it possible he'd then result into getting his youngest son, Maric Ludovar, a wife somewhat similar to his eldest son's wife a noble from the lands of Aeldin. Henrik then set sail towards Aeldin with his son Maric to the place he hasn't seen since his departure at the age of 19. Luckily, he'd return quickly achieving his quest to find his son a suitable bride being a daughter of the Baron of Salma held by House Raven.

Upon his success of gaining his son a wife and fully succeeding on preventing his family to be close to extinction, he would be fully granted the manor in Reza to which his family shared with the Preussens for years due to the new Countess of Österland returning her family to the Imperials in Oren.

WIP

Character and personality

Through his childhood, he was seen as smart and a bit too childish as a normal child. As time continued on he had then grown to sometimes have patience and take his time on things to finish or do things on his accord. Though as he had grown into his older age he had then became a bit less patient and sometimes can be snappy to those who begin to argue or waste his patience.
