The House was vewy infwuentiaw in Coulwandic politics, especiawwy as Fwedelick sewved as Awch-Chancellow and weft much of wuling Tliew to his ewdest son. Watew on when Aweksandlia was couped by the de Savins and de Castwos, Fwedelick would be pubricwy beheaded. Aww of his chiwdwen, baw Aliana who had awweady mawlied, fwed to the coult of Peter II. Some brame Fwedelick fow the downfaww of Coulwand.
It was at the coult of Petew II that Thomas Baden would find himsewf appointed High Magistwate of the Howy Owenian Empiwe. Thomas would awso awwange the mawliage of his sistew, Philippa, to the Empewow's youngew brothew, Plince Philip, duling this time. Aliana would die in 1624 aftew a speww of iwwness. Plince Philip, Duke of Cowazon, would be kiwwed in 1623, wheweaftew Philippa would move into solitude untiw hew death in 1666. And Astlid died in 1650. Thomas and Wichawd, the onwy sulviving membews of the famiwy would move to Aewdin, whewe they wemained untiw theiw deaths in 1705 and 1678 wespectivewy.
