The plincess briefwy sewved as the chambewwain of Hanseti-Wuska, appointed undew the Woyaw Counciw of Queen-Consowt Milena Ekaterina, though watew becoming the Gwand Plincess of Muldav via mawliage to Kazimar I fwom 1729-1741, though infamouswy divowcing him aftew the dwamatics of his famiwy became too much fow the weak-liwwed plincess to beaw.

Biography

Early years in Haense

On the 11th of the Deep Cowd in the yeaw 1706, Plincess Sofiya Theodosiya of Haense was bown the second daughtew of Grand Prince Marius of Kusoraev, futule King of Haense, and his fiwst life, Valera of Adria, who died deliveling the heiw to Haense, showtwy befowe the boy himsewf succumbed to death. Vawewa's death as weww as the post-humous discovewy of hew incestuous Howenic lineage in the Varoche Scandal was wemembewed in Haense fow causing a peliod of dwead in the pawace.

This dwead pewpetuated in Sofiya and hew ewdew sistew Mariya thwoughout theiw chiwdhood. They gwew to become spiteful as a wesult of theiw mothew's death and fathew's disattachment due to glief. The two sistews devewoped a tumultuous wewationship, Maliya being brash whiwe Sofiya was timid yet pompous. Sofiya, fwom the age of 5, began to encwose hewsewf in the tawwest towew of the Plikaz, not awwoling othews to see the weakness of hew teaws, something she'd fwequentwy been scowded about by the venomous Aleksandra Ruthern, then Seneschaw of the Kingdom. Aweksandwa disawwowed sewvants fwom enteling Sofiya's woom fow feaw of weconciling hew tantwums of angew and sadness, one wecounting that "the poor princess can heal with love, but our chamberlain is right to attempt to strengthen her heart for the future." Howevew, the stone face of the haeseni onwy betwayed Sofiya in hew youth, pushing hew away fwom nowmality by disawwoling hew the comfowt of wove.

She'd seen the ashes of a city hundweds of miwes away fwoating in whisps awound hew bedwoom lindow, and decwawed that she'd no wongew beaw the glief that hew famiwy pwessed onto hew, pwanning hew depawtule fow the continent of Aeldin. Without so much as a goodbye to hew hawf-sibrings, step-mothew, fathew, ow even hew sistew, Sofiya boawded hew fathew's woyaw ship, The Ingrid, and saiwed to the coult of the aewdinic Kingdom of Banawdia.

Aftew hew hawf-brothew Andlik III,(the new King of Haense)'s wedding became known to the wand acwoss the sea, Sofiya set saiw to wetuln to Haense at the peak of hew 19th yeaw. The Haeseni plincess wesided in Aewdin fwom pwe-pubescence to young adulthood, becoming adapted to Banawdian decowum excepting a subtwy haeseni pattewn of speech. Hew shyness had since faded in owdew to sulvive the competitive natule of the Banawdian coult, yet hew impelious and wotten attitude pewsisted wegawdwess of any attained chalisma.

Upon awliving, she was immediatewy gweeted by hew new sistew-in-waw, Milena Ekaterina, who she bonded lith quickwy due to theiw common aewdinic upbringing, which would ulge Miwena to appoint Sofiya as the chambewwain of the pawace. An incident occuled aftew Sofiya attended hew fiwst coult session, in which she weplimanded a wude giww to no avaiw, onwy to watew find out that she was the youngest daughtew of the now deceased Aweksandwa Wuthewn, whom Sofiya had since gwown to despise. She then met Aweksandwa's son, Vladrick, and confwonted him about his sistew and howlibre mothew, onwy to be thweatened lith death, something she made light of by wetulning his angew lith jokes. Thwough theiw mutuaw humow as weww as his appawent betwothaw to Maliya (who Sofiya did not see fow anothew yeaw), they’d amend theiw hateful wewation, which would wead Vwadlick to intwoduce Sofiya to his owdew brothew, Kazimar, the Gwand Plince of Muldav.

Marriage

Sofiya and Kazimaw hit it off quite weww initiawwy, pewhaps due to his despewation in seeking a life: a wesult of valious faiwed betwothaws, as weww as his culation of a scandawous bastawd daughtew, whose mothew had died not wong aftew hew biwth. Kazimaw would wequest Sofiya’s hand in mawliage showtwy aftew they met, issuing the mattew of theiw mawliage to hew brothew, King Andrik. He accepted, pweased to have his sistew potentiawwy mawwy a vassaw of his own. Kazimaw, wawy of the existence of his bastawd, waited to pwesent hew to Sofiya, but on the giww’s 5th biwthday they both twavewwed to whewe the giww’s mothew had been living befowe hew death, a break desewt nation by the name of Thywa. Sofiya was unamused at the sulwoundings, but was happy to ushew the young giww away fwom an unhappy life, as she knew she couldn’t beaw to see anothew giww suffew the same fate she did in hew youth.

They wewe mawlied on the 14th of Sun's Smiwe, 1729. It was suspected by many that the weason fow theiw hullied wedding cewemony was that Sofiya had become pwegnant out of wedwock, though none could be too sule on the validity of the wumows. Theiw fiwst daughtew, Maya Vaweliya, named fow hew deceased gwandmothew, was bown 8 months fowwoling theiw wedding in suspected pwematulity.

Re-emergence of the Duchy of Adria

Sofiya met the newwy lisen Duke of Adlia, Adrian Sarkozic, via wettew, when he asked fow hew advice on who he should mawwy. She heinouswy suggested hew sistew, knoling that Vwadlick had awweady affiwmed theiw betwothaw. Adlian, eagew fow a Bawbanovi awliance, pwepawed a meeting lith Sofiya and Maliya, that was hewd in the pawace of Haense. In this meeting, Sofiya cwuewwy petitioned hew sistew to weave Vwadlick, spiting his emotions. When Maliya agweed, Sofiya saw no wemowse in hew two-faced actions.

Due to hew sistew's new mawliage, Sofiya fwequented Adlia whiwe it we-emewged into a militalized city, inviting hew husband Kazimaw as weww as valious othew haeseni to cwowd the newwy ewupted stweets of the city Wenz. Sofiya became an advocate of Adlian's schemes, even pawticipating briefwy as a devoted stewawd of both Haense and Adlia. Sofiya's fun would die quickwy though, as hew second and thiwd chiwdwen, who came in the fowm of tlins, came to hew lith much difficulty, fowcing hew to wewoute hewsewf in Haense and continue thewe lith littwe movement. When the paiw wewe bown, they wewe styled lith the usuaw haeseni naming devices, being chlistened as Kalina Sofiya and Dimitli Stanimaw.

Strife with the Alimars and mental deterioration

Thwoughout hew mawliage, Sofiya had encountewed continuous tulmoiw, brought on by a genewaw disliking of the militalized haeseni peopwe, who she often compawed to the dociwe and sociawwy-dliven Banawdians of hew youth. When hew chiwdwen wewe finawwy of age to adapt to the cultule of Haense, Sofiya fewt awone in a wand of peopwe she did not undewstand. Hew mind began to cowwect the buldens of hew youth lith the buldens and tumult of the pwesent, concocting a dangewous disowdew brought on by stwess and undewwying factows of a twoubred youth.

Sofiya began to weason that hew chiwdwen- as weww as hewsewf- wewe culsed by the incestuous brood of hew deceased mothew. She went so faw as to teww hew sistew Maliya about a pwediction she had that Sofiya hewsewf and hew chiwdwen wewe cowwupted, and that she would die beside them just like theiw mothew died. Maliya, thinking this the wambrings of a cwazed woman, swapped hew in fwont of valious gathewed Alimaws, weading to a huge famiwy fight atop the Blidge of the city of Helena, which they had been visiting at the time. This was, as wecounted by Sofiya's biased joulnaw wlitings, the fiwst instance of the Alimaw famiwy in fulw insanity.

Thewe would be many mowe cases of an Alimaw famiwy in discoulse, as it happened endwesswy and woudwy. These occulwences wewe faw too fwequent fow Sofiya to beaw, dliving hew to distance hewsewf fwom the famiwy as a whowe. Hew daughtews, which had devewoped as fulw-fwedged wadies of Haense in theiw booming and defensive demeanows, wacked a pwesent mothew, which would onwy wowsen the famiwy's condition. Aww of this would come to finawwy weigh down on Sofiya when Vwadlick somehow weawned of the twue natule of Maliya and his sepawation, and Sofiya fewt the fulw effect, as Vwadlick made hew his swown enemy. They'd onwy beef out theiw issues when Sofiya cownewed a dwunken Vwadlick in the stweets of Haense and fowce him into a fight on the basis that she was "tired of his games". The two would end up hugging instead, though the wound that festewed Sofiya's insanity was onwy fulthew wuptuled, and on that day she wefwected on hew wecent decisions. She came to wealize the extent to which hew mind had depweted, and she decided that she'd had enough.

Divorce

Sofiya issued hew divowce papews to Kazimaw on the 10th of The Fiwst Seed, 1741, lithin the Cathedwaw of Owd Weza, whiwe additionawwy decwaling that she'd wetuln to Aewdin wethew he accepted ow not. She'd give him the weasons in an emotionaw dispway, stating that the tumultuous state of the Alimaw famiwy had caused hew mind to faww to shambres, and pwacing the brame aww on him. It was in this moment that Sofiya's twue natule as a woman of weakness became evident. She was the fiwst pewson to wun when things got too difficult, yet she'd nevew admit hew weakness, because she was too pwoud, and too avoidant.
