Owyn Amador was the Patriarch of the House of Amador during the Great Northern War. He was, during his lifetime titled Count of Mondstadt, Count of Gravelhold, Baron of Stormholme & Baron of the Blackfen. He was one of many Haenseni émigrés that found work in the Southern Realms after the destruction of their homeland following the aforementioned war. He was Treasurer of the Sixth Iteration of the Holy Orenian Empire under Peter II, Holy Orenian Emperor.

Early Years

Owyn was born in Barony of Mondstadt in the 1587 to Baron Ramdir Amador and Anna Sophia Horen-Pruessens. The first born son of the Baron, young Owyn was raised a devout Canonist with the typical Amadorian knowledge of financial management. Whilst his relationship with his father, whom groomed his heir dotingly, his relationship with his mother was unfortunately strained. The cold north not well suited to her, she opted to either remain indoors or return down to the Kingdom of Lotharingia.

At the time, the Fifth Holy Orenian Empire held nominal lordship over the Kingdom of Haense, which was given autonomy to expand in the Northern reaches of the Empire during the Late Johannian era. Much of the Human nobility intermingled more than than they would later down the line. However, The Empire was not a stable polity. the Deep Cold Uprising had previously been fought for the independence of the Northern Kingdom, with House Amador having participated in that failed rebellion. Nonetheless, tensions would boil over again with the Coalition War that began the Fall of the Empire.

Ramdir Amador died in 1594 from his wounds whilst fighting in the Coalition War, leaving Owyn Amador as the young Baron of Mondstadt.

Baron of Mondstadt

Starting his rule at the age of 8, Young Owyn Amador was still considered too young to rule. Dorm Amador, a distant kinsman to the House of Amador was made regent of the House until Owyn's 16th Birthday, when he was considered a man. During this time, Owyn was left at the care of his sisters, his regent and his servant. One of the greatest concerns for the Amador Baron was the relationship with his distant mother, who spent her time in the Kingdom of Lotharingia. As a result, he hired a commoner named Aylwin Blaxton to serve as his diplomatic representative in the Southern Kingdom, to improve the relationship with Owyn's Mother, The King & find any mercantile opportunities.

During this time, he also married Adrijana Kovechev, who would soon give birth to Henrik I Amador, Ruslan II Amador, Diane Amador & Jack Amador (Later Clement III.)

Scandal

Circa 1590, Aylwin Blaxton and his patron, Baron Owyn Amador were arrested by Otto Barbanov & Boris Ruthern, on suspicion of High Treason against King Marius I. However, after a court hearing within Karlsburg, both men were acquitted. Testimony against the two men was never released to the general public, citing suspicions of falsified evidence or political intrigue.

Great Northern War

Owyn Amador, as a loyal vassal of Marius I of Haense fought in the Great Northern War alongside his bannermen. He is known to have led forces at the Battle of Elba & the Battle of Curon. He is known to have fought Valiantly for his age. However, during a skirmish upon the County of Mondstadt, Owyn was captured by Courlandic forces and was dragged away for ransom. When the Kingdom of Haense refused payment, the Courlandic forces took payment in the form of Owyn's left hand.

Later on, the Kingdom of Haense capitulated to the Courlandic forces and King Tobias Staunton revoked the ancestral seat of Mondstadt from the House of Amador, after the latter refused to bend the knee to his new Courlandic Overlord. The County was devalued to the rank of barony once more and renamed Northmarch, before being granted to Percius Mauntel, Lord Treasurer for King Tobias Staunton. It is believed that during his time of his recovery, Owyn had sent Aylwin Blaxton to reason with the King of Courland, however, his efforts appeared to have been in vain.

Haenseni émigrés

Becoming landless, Owyn sent his family to the care of his Mother, Anna Sophia Horen-Pruessen, in the Barony of Ostwick. He continued to work in the service of the House of Amador within the Kingdom of Lotharingia, spending time to travel to the Golumancers of the Urguan to purchase for himself a prosthetic hand to replace that which he had lost in the defense of his home and his country. After this, he spent as much time as he could afford with his family, whilst also attempting to maintain their noble lifestyle, education and his own Wife's mental issues.

Owyn managed to secure some land in the Blackfen from his benefactors in the Duchy of Marna and attempted to raise a keep named Stormholme. Unfortunately for Owyn, the endeavour proved too costly and he sought aid from the the Duke of Mardon, Peter Sigismund. The Duke offered to take the incomplete keep of Blackfen in exchange for the County of Gravelhold and Owyn's Fealty. Desperate, Owyn agreed.

The Imperium Sextus

The Count of Gravelhold was among a small number of noble lords who proved instrumental in the creation of the Sixth Iteration of the Holy Orenian Empire. He became the Treasurer of the Duke of Marna, Peter Sigismund, whilst working in concert with Frederick, Prince of Pruvia to lay the groundwork for a return of the Imperium. Given the Northern Kingdom of Haense was still non-existent, Owyn worked for a new home for the House of Amador.

Reacting to an attempt by Queen Anna of Lotharingia to seize the Kingdom of Lotharingia, the Duchy of Marna stepped into the frey, so that they may seize the Barony of Ostwick and claim the imperial mantle. Owyn is known to have called for action in the Ducal council in the hopes of saving his mother and the now Chamberlain of Ostwick, Aylwin Blaxton, from their dire situation.

After the Assassination of Owyn's Mother, Ducal forces stepped in and evacuated the remaining courtiers of the Barony of Ostwick, allowing Peter Sigismund the opportunity to declare himself Peter II, Holy Orenian Emperor. Owyn's former diplomat, Aylwin Blaxton, was given the Role of Chancellor in the Principality of Pruvia at Hochspitze, before being made Viscount of Brabant. Owyn would later receive Aylwin's Vassalage after a transfer between the Amadors and the Horen-Pruessens following the Pruvian Inheritance.

Unfortunately, the loss of his mother appears to have deeply effected the young Count, as he soon developed a bloody flux within the Blackfen Marshlands. Owyn "Iron-fist" Amador, died of of a prolonged lung infection in 1615.
