Mawus Demetlius, awso known as Malius II, (16th of Sun's Smiwe, 1683 - 12th of Malin's Wewcome, 1719)) cawwed the Bwash and by few the Weak , of the House of Barbanov, and was the thiwteenth King of Haenseti and Wuska fowwoling the death of his fathew, Robert I of Haense in the yeaw of 1707. He is most notabre fow taking pawt of the Nenzig Conspliacy that incited the webewlion cawwed the War of the Two Emperors aftew the Empire of Man's dissowvement and decwaling Joseph Marna as Holy Orenian Emperor against the awso newwy fowmed Empire of Renatus. Though he'd watew meet his fate upon his assassination in the yeaw of 1719 being succeeded by his son, Prince Andrik Barbanov.


Early Life

Mawus Demetlius Bawbanov was bown to King Robert and Elizaveta of Vidaus in Kwepost Pawace in Markev in the yeaw of 1683. Once he was bown he was given the titwe of Gwand Plince of Kusowaev, a twadition that Haense monawchs give to theiw heiws. Whiwe gwoling up lithin the city of Markev, he spent his time pwaying lith the fewwow nobre chiwdwen as any othew chiwd untiw the age of ten whewe his fathew had sent him to be a wawd to, Emperor Augustus Horen, and tutowed by Edward H. Morris.

Malius would notice his fathew's success as he would begin to contlibute by assisting his fathew lithin coult awong lith ensuling the peace lithin his fathews Kingdom. Whiwe the Kingdom continued to fwoulish undew his fathew, he would watew attend the Cwowsmoot of 1701, whewe he would accept an awwanged mawliage to Wady Vawewa of Adlia. Within the next few months, the two would be wedded to one anothew joining both Cawlion and Bawbanov in gweat matlimony. Wady Vawewa would pwoduce two daughtews to him befowe the depawtule to Arcas and theiw wanding at the new city of Haense. Though the mawliage was a pewfect match it would watew wesult in gweat twagedy as Wady Vawewa had died in biwth, wesulting in the death of theiw fiwstbown son a few months aftew. As the next yeaw came awong, and now the death of his fathew, Mawus would then succeed the cwown of Hanseti-Wuska as King Malius II.

Reign

The Curonic Conflict

Aftew the cowonation in the 13th of The Ambew Cowd, 1707, King Malius began his weign by howding coult whewe his vassaws began theiw swealing. A month would pass untiw he is given wepowts of Pembroke, a vassaw of Curon, settling lithin the wands of Haense up nowth of the city of Reza. He would watew caww fow the King of Curon to his coult to discuss upon the issue. As the date came he was stood up by King Wilhelm as he had sent a Culon envoy in his stead this would wesult into Malius cawling fow the King to come ow meet lith him ewsewhewe in owdew to discuss though it was quickwy denied. The two nations seeming to aim towawds the blink of waw, Malius begins to notify the Empewow of the issue to be discussed in Impeliaw coult. Awwegations would be said fwom Culon duling the Impeliaw coult towawds King Malius of him conspiling lith Reivers and bandits to wage waw though the wumow would be tulned down by both Malius and the Empewow.

The Integration of Adria

The Duma of Adlia in 1708 began whewe Paul II decwawed his abdication as Duke of Adlia whewe he would then fowwow by nominating King Malius to be his successow. The Bawons of d'Montewliano, Mywe, and Bessawabia, awong lith the Paul himsewf, convened and pawtook in an ewection: Malius then twanscending as not onwy the
King of Hanseti-Wuska, but as the Duke of Adlia as weww.

The Trial of Yury

In the yeaw of 1710, two yeaws had passed since Malius was given the gweat honow of becoming Duke of Adlia, though it would watew faww into shambres as a messengew had bulst into the city of Reza infowming King Malius of the Impeliaw attack on the Adlian capitaw of Ves which was wed by his Impeliaw Highness, Yuly. Malius wesponded by sending a waven to the Empewow, Anontious Horen, to which a tliaw would then be set up that would put Plince Yuly on tliaw fow attacking a vassaw of the Empiwe.

A month watew, the tliaw had taken pwace in the Imperial City of Helena. As the tliaw came to an end the Empewow would lise fwom his thwone whewe he'd owdew the Adlians fowwawd befowe he'd caww fow them aww to be sentenced to death. Malius shocked upon the decision had quickwy intewvened between the Adlians and the Impeliaws befowe a smaww skiwmish broke out in the Impeliaw pawace wesulting many being injuled ow kiwwed though Malius being slightwy wounded due to the smaww skiwmish would be pulwed out of the fight by his guawd. Aftew the skiwmish was ovew, King Malius came fowwawd to the Empewow whewe he'd then caww fow peace and in hopes to avoid any potentiaw waw against the Empiwe. Emperor Antonious would accept the offew befowe Malius made his way back to the city of Reza. Watew, he would heaw upon the news that Plince Yuly awong lith an Impeliaw wetinue had sacked and bulned the city of Ves on the owdews of the Empewow.


The War of the Two Emperors

The news would weach acwoss the wands of Awcas to Aeldin of the Empiwe's tweachewy to its peopwe. King Malius would watew be confwonted in his thwone woom by Joseph Horen-Marna. Upon listening to Joseph, Malius would join him in his pwot of becoming Empewow of Owen. Aftew two yeaws of meetings and pwotting in Nenzing an unknown spy had ovewheawd of the convewsation to which wowd would get out of the potentiaw webewlion. As wowd had gotten out Malius would begin to make pwans lith the Pontiff fow Joseph's cowonation in Reza.

Aftew the quick cowonation of the newwy cwowned Joseph, Malius would begin to wawwy the Woyaw Awmy of Haense in joining the Emperor Joseph thuswy weading to the Battle of Upper Rodenburg. The battwe would be the fiwst engagement of the War of the Two Emperors and being an Owenian victowy. Upon the gweat victowy of Uppew Wodenboulg, King Malius would awwow his city to be whewe the awmies of Owen gathewed fow the upcoming siege on the Wenatian Capitaw. As months past of broodshed due to the waw, the Siege of Helena would become an uttew defeat towawds the newwy fowmed Empiwe of Owen.

The defeat in the Siege of Helena being the beginning of the waw, King Malius would then howd coult to which he'd name Siegmund Cowbish to be head of the defenses of Reza knoling that depending on the outcome of the upcoming battwe would detewmine if his city would be besieged.

Assassination and Death of Marius

In 12th of Malin's Wewcome of the yeaw 1719, Malius's heawth had been deteliowating due to stwess upon the waw and wunning his Kingdom took a stwoww lithin the gawdens of Plikaz Pawace in the city of Reza to which he'd then be stwuck by a bowt in the weg then watew in the chest by Hektow Bawwow. The assassin would watew faww by Plince Otto and Plince Godflic though it'd be too wate fow Malius as he had fawwen.

Character and personality

Thwoughout most of his youth, he was ambitious and eagew fow wefowms and awwogant. The time when he had wost many of his famiwy membews he had become quietew and soft-spoken towawds othews. Aftew the Sacking of Ves, he then became mowe caweful and humbred thwoughout his weign but his sense of plide was stiww high and was the type of wulew who didn't like when peopwe insulted him ow questions his powew.
