James Amador was a Patriarch of the House of Amador from Anthos, serving as the Baron of the Shadowcoast under House Stafyr of Schattenburg9, from the reign of King Heinrik I of the House of Carrion to Emperor Alexander I.

History

Early life

James Amador was born circa 1415, likely in the Duchy of the Holy Lands in Asulon to Tristan & Natalie Amador. He was the Great grandson of Jiraiya Amador, who was still around during the early years of Anthos. Following the exodus from Elysium & Kalos, House Amador did not regain the influence it had previously had under the First Holy Orenian Empire, having lost several of its leading family members to mysterious circumstance on the subsequent voyages. Despite these personal hardships, The House of Amador remained extremely wealthy from their reign in the Holy Lands, from constructing the ships necessary for the aforementioned Exodus.

As a consequence, the Amador Patriarch, Tristan, used this fortune by ingratiating himself and the House of Amador by donating much of it to the betterment of House Carrion and their new patron Farley II of House Stafyr. After a time, Tristan Amador requested land and title from King Heinrik I of the House of Carrion, King of Oren. For context, Upon the death of Sigismund I, Exalted Holy Orenian Emperor, his successor and nephew, Henrik I, ascended to the throne of the second Holy Orenian Empire. However, he refused to adopt the style of Emperor, instead returning to the previously held designation of King of Oren. King Heinrik chose to elevate Tristan's son, James, to nobility, given that Tristan was a sickly man. Having been granted the Barony of the Shadowcoast, situated on the coastline between Schattenburg and the land of Furnestock. After swearing their loyalty to the newly elevated Count Farley Stafyr, their new liege lord, House of Amador to reemerged into Oren politics and Nobility. Unfortunately, James' father, Tristan died two years later.

Baron of the Shadowcoast

Now ennobled at the Baron of the Shadowcoast, the Amadors became renowned for their part in helping Count Farley of the House of Stafyr in the Third Urguan-Oren War, where Arthur Amador saw action leading forces in the Battle of Shadowcastle & aiding bombard and destroy the fort at the Siege of Thoringrad. Their actions in this war elevated James' cousin into the Church of the Canon as a Holy Knight, who would continue to serve the Church and House until his death in 1491.

The House of Amador's main exports during this period remained as Lumber suppliers to the Kingdom and later Empire of Oren, as well as picking up a new trade as horse ranchers. Amador Cavalry is documented by the House of Stafyr as being used for patrolling the County of Schattenburg. However, it is notable that, during this period of history, the total welath of the House of Amador greatly diminished, in order to maintain their influence and gain a foothold in Orenian politics. A theme that would continue later into the future when other Houses and Nations abused the wealth of the House of Amador.

The Zionist War

In 1451, the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, the Rexdom of Krugmar, the Kingdom of Alras, and the Conclave of Malin, signed The Treaty of Zion.

as the King of Oren Heinrik I of the House of Carrion, continued to grow in political prowess, neighboring nations of the Zionist Pact began to grow anxious of a new Empire subjugating them. The Dwarves, Orcs, and Elves quickly formed a military coalition against Oren and demanded that King Heinrik Carrion be disposed. In the first battle of the War, King Heinrik is struck down in the fray. After the siege, a false King, Franz I, is crowned. The Order of St. Lucien defects from Oren because the King was coronated by a lowly priest rather than the High Pontiff. Strelts begin to be persecuted in mass around Oren by the OSL and soon they seize control of Vekaro.

The last Strelt stronghold, Mount Augustus, is heavily fortified and made an impenetrable fortress to defend from the Zions. The siege begins as small forces of Orcs pick apart the Zion attackers, they are forever known as the Banditos. The Zion attackers are destroyed when they try to enter the Mountain and are slaughtered by traps established by Mili "The Skull" Irongut who will be forever known as the Hero of Mount Augustus.

The war soon ended afterward with the return of Peter Chivay who was crowned Emperor of Oren. The war was known for it's heavy amount of raiding and skirmishes in between major battles.

In 1456, War Hero Peter Chivay and the inaugeration of the Third Holy Orenian Empire.
