Ser Arthur Amador the Second was a Warrior of the House of Amador from Vailor. He was the son of the Legendary Ser Arthur Amador the First. He is best known for being an Dunamis Mercenary and Outlaw, that famously found service as the Commander of the d'Amaury Honor Guard to the Archduke of Lorraine.

History

Arthur the Second was born in the ailing days of Athera in 1508 of the First Age. A Highlander boy who was the scion of the Legendary Holy Knight, Ser Arthur Amador, the younger Arthur would learn next to nothing about his father or his ancient lineage. Born from an unknown mother, likely as the result of a one-night stand in which the Elder Arthur forgot his honour, Arthur the Second was brought up a scurrilous street-urchin on in the streets of the Holy Orenian Empire. This mercilessly hard upbringing, effectively an orphan, gave rise to Arthur the Second's personality as a ruthless & unforgiving (verging on sadistic) bully.

After becoming unwelcome in regular society during his teenage years, Arthur rode out into the wilderness, rarely patrolled by the Fifth Empire. He soon happened upon a new profession and became a Dunamis Mercenary, for similarly hard-done-by individuals happy to loot, steal and pillage their way to fame and fortune. Among these companions in arms were the Blackwoods, a similarly disenfranchised group who grew to trust Arthur and made him their leader.

In 1545, a written Request for Arthur's Extradition was made by the Imperial Prince of the Holy Orenian Empire, John Sigismund. The crimes listed were as follows:

  • The theft of valuable material from the Kingdom of Vandoria, the Empire's close ally
  • The harassment of citizens and nobility of Felsen
  • Sodomy, bestiality, and incest
  • Slandering His Imperial Majesty, Emperor John I
  • Slandering various nobility and imperial royalty
  • High treason, consorting with Dunamis, enemy of the Empire

However, it would appear that, despite the serious nature of these charges, Arthur was able to escape extradition. Instead, not long after, he appeared in the record to have been accepted into the service of the House d'Amaury, Archdukes of Lorraine/Lotharingia, serving as Commander of the Archduke's honor guard for a brief period until, in 1547 Arthur was killed in battle, by a spear impaled through his torso.

Appearance

Arthur the Second was quite tall for a human, coming in at 6’3ft, and 205 lbs with a rather bulky build. according to his Arch-ducal record of service. This displays similar genes to his father and his ancestor Jack Amador.

His complexion was unusually pale, likely from an early like of malnourishment and harsh life of a street urchin. However, he did have the common Amador trait of Grey coloured eyes, described by some as "soul-lacking".

He had dark colored hair, mix between brown’n’grey, as was traditional for an Amador and was often attired in either mail, brigandine or plate during his later years.
