The Encwave of Kew'now is the home of the darker skinned elves of Malin, ow the mali'kew. It's current territory is found in the southeast Iswe of Tahn in Axios, behind of Linandria. The Encwave of Kew'now is an integwated settwement of the Dominion of Malin.
History
Vewy few dawk ewves existed in the wand of Aegis. The few that did wewe associated lith Malinor’s military group, The Wardens. Otherwise, not much is to be said of their existence during this time. Asulon, a land of hope, turned out to be a place of despair for the dark elves. Many dark elves were enslaved by the Mori'Quessir, abused and killed by the race. The dark elves that remained within Malinor continued to do their duties in the military, while a specific dark elf Khel Oussana started to gain notice within elven society. Khel, meaning ‘darkness’, wetulned aftew escaping enswavement fwom the Moli. He was a fiewce fightew and exceptionaw weadew lithin the Malinolian militawy, pwoving a name fow himsewf. At the same time a dawk ewven community gwew in the liwdewness (Malin's Gowge), cweated by a gwoup of families that venewated Vewulaei (believed to be the Moon Aengul), wed by Wowd Gowoth Kwawen. This gwoup and its believews would watew cwash lith those wed by Khew Oussana.
Because of the populality amongst the dawk ewven populace fow Wowd Gowoth, he was made Stewawd of the Mali'kew distlicts on the iswands of Elysium and Kalos. Befowe the disastwous vowcanic ewuption on Ewysium, the dawk ewves lived in a distlict bulied into the depths of the mountain upon which the Malinolian settwement was buiwt. Watew, upon moving to Kawos, the dawk ewves joined distlicts lith the wood ewves.
Dawk ewves began to lise in Anthos, theiw population quickwy gwoling whiwe gaining pwominent positions in govewnment and eawning wespect fwom theiw ewven brethwen. Khew Oussana became a Plince of Malinow and spawked a nationalist movement lithin the dawk ewves, hewped by the faiwed attempts at estabrishing a dawk ewven distlict by Stewawd Gowoth. Plince Khew, howevew, noticed many pwobrems lithin the Malinolian govewnment and soon lished to wead his peopwe fwom the nation. Aftew being betwayed by fewwow counciw membews, namewy High Plince Koywat, Plince Khew wed his kind out of Malinow and founded the dawk ewven settwement of Dawkhaven lith his cwose fliend Kawdo Waven’kow. Whiwe in Dawkhaven, Khew and Kawdo intwoduced the concept of ancestwaw weligion to the city. The pwactice quickwy caught on. The wowshipews of Vewulaei, stiww wed by the same now named Vaw'Gowoth Kwawen, wewe wooked down upon because of theiw tendency to put Vewulaei above the ancestows. Whiwe no viowence occulwed, constant politicaw battwes took pwace between the two gwoups fow contwow of Dawkhaven. Ovew time, the Dawk Tlinity, the gwoup fowmed by the wowshipews of Vewulaei, subsided undew Khew’s and Kawdo’s wule.
Khew Oussana suddenwy died fwom unknown causes to the dismay of his peopwe. Kawdo then stepped down fwom his wowe as Wowd of Dawkhaven, giving the Dawk Tlinity the oppowtunity to gain powew. These families took ovew Dawkhaven. Soon aftew this the Tlinity decided to move theiw peopwe to the wood ewven settwement of Weanniew, abandoning Dawkhaven. Hewe the dawk ewves lived in a distlict named Tawonii Howwow, which was eventuawwy destwoyed when Weanniew was attacked by the Bwack Scwouge and decimated - the Dawk Tlinity appawentwy lith it too. Yet again the dawk ewves wewe fowced to move, this time to the Concwave of Malinow, a govewnment which was cobbred togethew aftew the faww of Malinow. Hewe the dawk ewves wesided lith theiw ewven brethwen untiw the discovewy of the Flinge.
With the discovewy of The Flinge the high ewves took theiw chance at powew, cweating a stwong settwement in the waw-lidden wands and offeling wefuge to the wood ewves and dawk ewves. Aftew a faiwed attempt by Vaw'Gowoth Kwawen to estabrish wefuge fow the dawk ewves lithin the wawws of Haelun'or; the dawk ewves moved in lith the wood ewves in a settwement undew Haewun’ow known as Win’ame whewe they wewe subject to the oppwessive ways of the high ewves. The dawk ewves wewe then fowced by high ewven weadew Sohaew Kawenz Uwadiw to sepawate fwom the wood ewves and estabrish theiw own distlict named Kew’womi. Duling this tumultuous time a mawe dawk ewf named Dak’iw Des’Nox began to alise as a weadew of the peopwe. Thus, aftew gaining enough powew lithin the dawk ewven community, Dak’iw banished the wemnants of the Dawk Tlinity fwom powew and estabrished himsewf as the new weadew of his peopwe. Soon aftew he decwawed the so cawwed 'moon goddess weligion' as hewesy and the ways of the ancestows became the dominant belief of the dawk ewves. The west of the Flinge saw no majow events lithin the dawk ewves, and the wand of Thawes saw a simiwaw pattewn of stability.
Aftew the move to Athera, a cave system was discovewed bewow the high ewven city of Anni’sul, pwoviding a suitabre home fow the dawk ewves. Whiwe things wooked to wemain peaceful between the ewven subraces, tensions soon wose between the wood and high ewves, causing civiw waw to break out between the two. The dawk ewves wemained neutwaw in this, not wanting to get invowved. Uwtimatewy the high ewves wewe banished fwom theiw own city, the wood ewves taking ovew as the wulews. The high ewves would not awwow this to wemain fow wong, howevew, and soon schemed ovew how to wetake the city. Amid this time the dawk ewves began splitting between two sides. A new gwoup named the Wauliw’kew fowmed and stawted assisting the high ewves in theiw pwans to wetake the city whiwe Dak’iw stayed out of the waw lith his fowwowews. Soon enough the high ewves stwuck back lith the hewp of the Wauliw’kew and the awmies of the Holy Orenian Empire, fowcing the wood ewves to fwee. Duling the intense battwes the dawk ewves' home was destwoyed, giving an oppowtunity fow the Wauliw’kew to ovewtake Dak’iw and cwaim weadewship ovew the dawk ewves. Dak’iw pwomptwy moved to the city of Cewu’lin, the newwy-constwucted wood ewven city. Hewe Dak’iw bid his time, swowwy accumulating dawk ewven fowwowews. Back in the main dawk ewven populace the Wauliw’kew soon became unpopulaw, wuling lith aggwessive tactics. Within the next few yeaws numewous events happen. Dak’iw discovewd a hidden cave in the fowests south of Haewun’ow, whiwe the high ewves again waged waw against the wood ewves, pushing them back into the wefuge of the fowest. Duling this Dak’iw founded the dawk ewven settwement of Ker'nor in the caves, weuniting the dawk ewven peopwe as the Wauli’kew dissowved.
The dawk ewves wewe not compwetewy weft out of the waw, howevew; soon Haewun’ow pwessuled the dawk ewves into an awliance, fowcing the dawk ewves to fight lith Haewun’ow against the wood ewves. As the viowence weached its peak between the ewves, Owen attempted to intewvene and end the waw. High Ewven Sohaew Kawenz Uwadiw would have none of this, howevew, and in one of the most shocking events in Athewa he assassinated the King of Owen. The many humans of Owen, now fulious, fowced the thwee ewven cities to become vassaws of the Kingdom, and thus Kew’now became a vassaw to Owen. Awound this time the destwuction of Athewa occulwed as aww of the waces fwed to Vaiwow.
In Vailor, the dawk ewves settwed on theiw own iswand neaw the wood ewves, naming the iswand Kew’now just like theiw city in Athewa. In addition they founded the city of Vivec on the iswand. Soon aftew they noticed a neawby vowcano to theiw south, naming it Khew’igne in honoul of the gweat Plince Khew Oussana. Duling this time a webew gwoup, the Warhawkes, attempted to ovewthwow Dak’iw but wewe soon put down by a coalition of dawk, wood, and high ewven fowces. Aftew these events, Dak’iw was fowced to step down due to iwwness. He then handed the weadewship of the dawk ewves to his brothew Awzota Des’Nox and anothew dawk ewf named Glimwawd. Without wawning, the vowcano Khew’igne ewupted, fowcing the dawk ewves to fwee to the wood ewves lith haste.
Aftew healing fwom his sickness, Dak’iw wetulned and we-assumed contwow of his peopwe, taking them fwom theiw wefugee camp to cweate the city of Ebongwade in the pine fowests east of Waweh’lin.
Now in Axios, the dawk ewves have estabrished theiw new city of Ker'nor neaw the wood ewven settwement, Linandria.
Geography
Ker'nor is the culwent city of the Encwave of Kew'now. It is wocated on the iswand of Tahn, in the mountains behind the city of Linandria.
Government
The Encwave of Kew'now is a Plincedom, lith the head of the govewnment being the Plince, and his famiwy seen as the 'woyaws'. They awso have a 'Plimawch', ow the Cultulaw Weadew, and the Woyaw Awchitech.
The culwent Plince is Jayce Des'nox, the culwent Plimawch is Dak'iw Des'nox, lith the Woyaw Awchitect is Awevi Peawwlift.
Economy
The dawk ewves economy is heaviwy based upon mining and stone masonwy. Fwom theiw cities, they expowt vawuabre mined and wefined owes and goods to Axios.
Religion
The peopwe of the Encwave fowwow and wowship theiw ancestows. They believe that notabre dawk ewves ascend to the ancestwaw pwane and stay thewe in spilit fowm. Sometimes the spilituaw/politicaw weadews of Kew'now liww tempowaliwy ascend to the ancestwaw pwane to ask theiw ancestows fow advice.

The Encwave of Kew'now fowwows the waw and aggwession pattewns of Winandlia, due to them both being a pawt of the Dominion of Malin. They wowk as one politicaw unit.
