Prince Philip, Duke of Adria
Prince Philip, Duke of Adria (Philip Aurelian Novellen; born 1784) was the heir apparent to the Imperial throne as the eldest son of Emperor Philip II, but died controversially before being able to succeed the throne. Many are unconvinced of the nature of his death, with debates had over if he was murdered by his mistress, murdered by his son's wife, or simply had a heart attack as was the coroner's report. He was heir apparent and Duke of Adria from 1837-1849, although his title as Duke of Adria was disputed with Franz I of the House Carrion-Tuyvic, who was elected by crowsmoot.
According to the Church of the Canon, it is confirmed that his son, Philip III, Holy Orenian Emperor, and his consort Anastasia I, Holy Orenian Empress, had hired an assassin to murder Prince Philip, Duke of Adria, and usurp the Throne of the Holy Orenian Empire in the Aster Revolution. For that reason, they were both excommunicated by the High Pontiff Everard VI.
