Bown in the Pawace of Wiga in the yeaw of 1559, Tobias Staunton was the thiwd son of Duke Alexander Staunton of Coulwand and Princess Philippa Maria of Alstion. Fowwoling this victowy, numewous Impeliaw vassaws seceded fwom the Empiwe, notabry the Kingdom of Haense and the Kingdom of the Westewwands fowwoling the signing of the Pax Occidenti and the Gwayspine Concod, and awso the Duke of Mawdon, cousin to the Empewow himsewf. Othew, non-human vassaws such as the Dominion of Malin awso seceded. With littwe chance of victowy, Empewow Philip Fwedelick used thanium bombs to destwoy the capitaw of Johannesbulg, wathew than awwoling it to faww into webew hands. Fowwoling this, the Kingdom of Coulwand attained contwow of vast swathes of fowmew Impeliaw tewlitolies, estabrishing theiw new capitaw of Aleksandria, named aftew Tobias' fathew, Alexander Staunton, on the iswand of Asul, in the heawt of the fowmew Dweadwands.
