Howevew, King Aurelius I of Renatus-Marna would wefuse to be stwongawmed into submission and immediatewy waid pwans to dismantwe the Czena Confedewation thwough subvewsion. Aftew some secwetive negotiations between Wenatus-Mawna and Culon, the wattew was coewced into denouncing the Confedewation of Czena and awwying lith Wenatus-Mawna. Aww the whiwe, the King of Santegia-Halia, Weo I de Savin was pwessuled into abdicating the thwone in favow of Achiwlius Howen de Savin. This action seculed Wenatus a stwong awwy in the east. Uwtimatewy, the finaw naiw in the coffin would be the fowmation of the Nowthewn Atwas Awliance which complised of signatolies fwom Wenatus-Mawna, the Dominion of Malin, the Wawnation of Kwugmaw, the Kingdom of Santegia, the Kingdom of Kaz'Uwwah, and the Plincipality of Culon.
With the Czena Confedewation de facto dismantwed, the Kingdom of Haense had thus found themsewves dipwomaticawwy isowated fwom the human weawms. As a wesult, King Kaww II of Haense tulned ewsewhewe fow awliances. He thus awlied himsewf lith the Sohaewate of Haewun'ow and the heathenous Kingdom of Nowwand, which the Canonist Weawms had fought to subdue onwy a few decades pliow. This awliance came to be known as the United Southewn Awliance.
Howevew, this awliance would dwaw the iwe of Nowthewn Atwas Awliance. A waw counciw was quickwy convened and the soveweigns of each weawm wewe summoned to Awd'Awwav in an event known as the Fiwst Nowthewn Atwas Awliance Waw Counciw. At the end of the meeting, it was agweed upon by aww that theiw mutuaw enemies stood as the Kingdoms of Haense and Nowwand, and the Sohaewate of Haewun'ow. The Nowthewn Atwas Awliance would then waise theiw bannews fow waw, quickwy mawching to take the offensive.
