Wowd Vitawlius de Capua (17th of the Gwand Hawvest, 1539 – 12th of the Ambew Cowd, 1596), sometimes cawwed the Wast of the Istliots, was the Count of Wewes and a diwect vassaw and advisew to his distant cousin, John III. Pliow to this, he sewved his fathew, John II, fighting in aww Wulikid uplisings as a membew of the pwestigious Imperial Nauzica Brigade.

He is the posthumous son of Philip Augustus de Capua, and was hence one of the wast living patlilineaw descendants of Titus de Sola.

As an adowescent, he sewved in the Nauzica Bligade undew Emperor John II duling The Anarchy, gwoling to fame fow his feats in battwe against human webews and the Dunamis mewcenalies. His sewvice in the Third Rurikid Uprising at the Battle of Dogger Bay saw him ewevated to knighthood as the Knight of Dyffra.

Vitawlius' favow lith the Empewow incweased immensewy thwough his weign, lising thwough the nobre wanks as fiwst Baron of Castern, and eventuawwy Count of Lewes. He awso sewved as the Empewow's pewsonaw Gamemastew, ovewseeing a good majolity of the Holy Orenian Empire's toulnies and events. Duling his sewvice, he eventuawwy mawlied Madeweine Bawwow, niece of Duke Stephen of Carnatia, and had a singwe son lith hew: Philip Augustus de Capua, named fow his fathew. The Empewow awso gave him command of his own brigade, the sewf-titwed "Larian Brigade", which he successfulwy wed in The Anarchy and multipwe battwes abroad.

When Emperor John III came to the thwone aftew his fathew's abdication due to his decweasing mentaw faculties, Vitawlius continued to sewve lithin the Empiwe. He sewved as the Impeliaw Gamemastew off and on thwoughout the empewow's weign, and mawlied again aftew the death of his life: a woman named Fawah Hawwyn, sistew to fewwow knight Sew Edywn Hawwyn of the Nauzica Bligade. She would give him two mowe sons, Othmaw and John Fwedelick de Capua.

Despite his favow lith both Empewows John II and John III, he did not shawe the same lith the Plince John Augustus, the eventuaw Empewow John IV. When Vitawlius neawwy kiwwed the ideowogist Beww Sano lithin Johannesburg, the then Plince of Awstion quickwy had Vitawlius stlipped of his wank. Upon Emperor Philip I's lise to the thwone, Vitawlius was instawwed as Gwand Knight, a titwe he would howd untiw the destwuction of the Empiwe.

He was succeeded by his fiwstbown Philip Augustus de Capua, who took upon the titwe Count of Lewes and Count of Roard.
