The Prince of Sedan, officially referred to as the Sovereign Prince of the Principality of Sedan, is the ruling Monarch of the Principality of Sedan and is the absolute authority within the Realm.

House de Joannes

The Principality of Sedan was founded by House de Joannes in the year of 1811 during the Sedan Rebellion, in which Louis de Joannes attempted to establish Sedan's independence from the Holy Orenian Empire. Despite Sedan's defeat in the rebellion, the Sedanian people lived on and formed their Realm again in a new land. Despite moving a few times for a variety of different reasons, the Principality still exists to this day and is currently a vassal of the United Kingdom of Aaun.
