Erin Blaxton nee Lockley (Naumarian: Erin Blakton) was a Viscount-Consort of the controversial Hanseni Aylwin Blaxton and a prominent merchant in her own right, receiving a land charter in the early 17th Century with her then Husband Johan van Loden. She lived during the reign of King Marius I of Haense up to the proclamation of Peter II, Holy Orenian Emperor.

Beginning

Erin's early history is patchy for a handful of reasons. Firstly, due to him being raised as a commoner in the Savoy, so having less of a papertrail than a noble. Secondly, her career as a merchant led her to travel all of Axios, resulting in Historians having to travel themselves to find records of her. Despite this, it is known that Erin came into contact with Johan van Loden, the city administrator of Karlsburg in the Kingdom of Haense, whilst selling her wares in the Kingdom of Courland. The industrious Van Loden offered a joint-enterprise between himself and Erin, an offer which Erin accepted. The pair are known to have submitted a request for a Land Charter within Hanseni Lands beyond the Greyspine Mountains. A request which was accepted.

Marriage & Van Loden Company

In 1602, Erin Lockley Married Johan Van Loden in the Kingdom of Courland, at the request of the bride. The pair had been spending a handful of years cultivating the land they had acquired from the land charter, building a farm on the land and selling the produce around Axios. On a handful of such occasions, she sold her wares in Karlsburg and Mondstadt, where she is known to have met Aylwin Blaxton, a rising star within the House of Amador. The pair garnered an immediate friendship and would correspond by letter throughout the following years. Letters that were later discovered and salvaged by Kazimar I, Count of Otistadt.

During the length of their marriage, Johan and Erin had one child: Willem van Loden, whose own record is lost.

Death of Johan, Consolidation & Savoy

In 1608, Johan Van Loden died of a sudden stroke, leaving Erin in charge of the Van Loden Company and the lands granted her by the Land Charter. Now a Wealthy widow with many responsibilities, Erin used the proceeds of the Van Loden company to purchase the land outright from the Crown and settled into her own lands to raise her child. However, given that women were not granted the same protection or influence as their male counterparts, Erin began a relationship with Hamelin de Savoie. Hamelin was a Prince of Savoy and, upon seeing the Widow van Loden's situation, offered aid where he could. Their relationship produced an illegitimate daughter, Victoria Oxenstierna. Unfortunately for the pair, the scandal of having an illegitimate daughter forced the pair to end the relationship.

Marriage to Aylwin Blaxton

Over the course of her life, Erin maintained a correspondence with Aylwin Blaxton, who himself had romantic notions towards the now Widow van Loden. During his own contentious career as first a diplomat for the House of Amador, next as Chamberlain of Queen Anna of Lotharingia and finally Chancellor of Pruvia for Frederick, Prince of Pruvia, Aylwin had gained the Viscounty of Dithmarschen and asked for Erin to join him in the Pruvia. Still in need of a partner for the protection and companionship, she accepted. The pair were married at Hochspitze on 1st of The Amber Cold, 1616.

It was reportedly a happy marriage, but sadly ended just a year later when both Aylwin and Erin Blaxton suspiciously died without issue on 2nd of Sun's Smile, 1617.
