Albus Henrik Brian Amador was the Custodian of Blackwell Tower, Professor of Demonology & Court Wizard of the Duchy of Brabant during Aevos. He also served as Regent for Henrik III Amador, following the death of Nataliya Amador. As such, he is also derided as the False Regent by detractors. He is known to have served as an Ally of the Brotherhood of the Golden Lion, an Order of Aevosian Paladins devoted to the Aengul Xan, during the Xannite-Azdrazi War.

Almaris

The early life of Albus is ill-sourced and, as a result, shrouded in mystery. It is known that his father was Ser Radmir Amador, a wandering hedge knight during Almaris, whom himself is ill-sourced. His father claimed that he had married legally and had Albus & his brother Mikhail legitimately, but he also refused to speak of their mother, resulting in the status of being a Bastard-son of the Amadors open to interpretation. The origins of Albus' name is mysterious too, as the name did not appear in Amador Annals, nor was it a common name among Humans. However, it is an enduring tale within the House of Amador that the name Brian was actually the word Brain spelt incorrectly by his father, a man of the sword and not the pen.

During his childhood, Olessya Amador returned to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska from their former home within the Principality of Sedan, putting out a missive for all members of the extended Amador family gather in the capital, Karlsburg. Albus and his brother became acquainted with his cousins, uncles and aunts. He is known to have developed a friendly rivalry with Sterling Amador during this period, as the two boys were similar in age and both wished to become squires, allowing them the opportunity of Knighthood. He became a favorite nephew of his Aunt Ilaria Anabel Amador, who became a mother-figure to the boy. Albus also garnered a friendship with Nataliya Amador, then the presumed heir of the House of Amador, which would become a strong working relationship in the years to come. He also developed a strained relationship with Nataliya's twin sister, Liridona Amador.

Despite his young age, Albus is thought to have been a very talented young man; equally capable with a training sword as he was with the strings of a harp, leading some to suspect that he had received some higher education, though from where and whom remains unknown. He was also known to have been an avid climber and would often be seen atop large buildings, gazing down at the people below, causing a great deal of anxiety for Liridona & others.

Runaway

Circa 1908, there was a heated argument within the Townhouse which the House of Amador occupied within Karlsburg. Emiliya Amador's Son, Sterling, became a Squire for a Knight within the Kingdom of the Barrowlands. Due to the lack of interest in taking commoners on as Squires within the Brotherhood of Saint Karl at the time, Radmir was unable to secure a place for Albus. A jealousy-fueled outburst occurred between an angsty teenage Albus and his father as a result.

Disincentivized to continue searching for a Knight to take him as a squire, Albus often hid within the Library within the Karlsburg Palace, as well as the Church Library available in the Basilica. There, he learnt of other paths of education. He took notes and often secluded himself within his room with a handful of books. Unannounced and without permission, Albus ran away from home. When he did not attend a family dinner that night, Nataliya Amador discovered some of his Library cards, leading her to the books he had been reading about education elsewhere in the Continent, allowing her to conclude he had ran away to seek another education.

Haelun'or

Albus next shows up within the Silver City of Haelun'or. It is believed that the young boy, exhausted from such an extensive journey, gained entry into the city of the High Elves. He is believed to have met Seth Calith, himself was a Voidal Mage, who arranged accomodations for the young Albus & arranging his education within the Academy there.

The Young Amador's education at this period is something worth digging into, as Albus is believed to have spent some 5 years within Haelun'or's education system, allowing him to gain a variety of skills. First and foremost, he was able to learn the Elven tongue, which allowed him to talk with the citizenry & read their books. Secondly, he is thought to have spent a great deal of his education learning sciences and medicine, including the procurement of certain alchemical herbs for the creation of such medicines.

Whilst attending the Silver Academy, Albus became accepted by the High Elves of Haelun'or, spending time with them and being able to converse with some ease. But whilst he was accepted, he was never fully integrated into the society, due to the Elven belief in purity. As a Human, whilst he could be viewed as a friend, he could never be seen as one of them. During one time in the Library, he discovered an ancient tome on Voidal magic, lightning evocation. He is known to have taken the tome to Seth Calith and asked him about Magic, wherein the Elder High Elf advised the young human to travel to Kal'Darakaan, to the Library of the Temple of the Dwarven Gods.

Kal'darakaan

Albus is thought to have travelled back to the continental mainland of Almaris by ship to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, wherein he took a cart to the Dwarven Capital of Kal'Darakaan. The Mighty City of the Dwarves was a perfectly secluded area amidst a large mountain range, where the growing teenager was only just a head higher than most of the Dwarves. At the start, the Dwarves did not take too kindly to the travelling student's presence in their Grand Kingdom, forcing him to spend time outside with the more-friendly Forest Dwarves of Hefrumm.

When he was able to, the young Albus was able gain access to the Temple of the Gods, including to the Temple's Library. Here, Albus began to learn more about Magic by using the Void. Taking the knowledge he learnt, he attempted to apply it, but failed. It was during one of these attempts that he came into contact with Ursus Grandaxe, himself another Voidal Mage. The chance encounter turned into an offer of tutelage, if Albus could connect himself to the Void after a year's worth of meditation and guidance from his new teacher. It was an offer Albus accepted.

During the following years prior to his twentieth year on Almaris, Albus had learnt the basics of the Voidal Translocatory arts from Ursus, whom he respectfully referred to as Master Ursus. However, one day, he received an unexpected message from his cousin, Nataliya Amador. Nicolette Amador had gone missing and she had written to inform her cousin. It would later turn out that the young Nicolette was cruelly murdered within the streets of Karlsburg.

Worried for the safety of his Family, Albus wrote to Ilaria Anabel Amador if Olessya Amador would be willing to allow him to return, to which she replied that Olessya would do so with open arms. Albus informed his tutor and headed back to Karlsburg, but not before inducting himself to the Mage's Guild.

Return to the House

Upon returning back to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, Albus began the search for his missing cousin, Nicolette Amador. Despite being unable to locate the body or even the murder scene, Albus was unfortunate enough to discover the youngest of the Amadors now transformed into a Poltergeist, who inhabited an abandoned house and attic. He is thought to have spent a day or two a week with the ghost of his cousin, indulging her and, potentially, coming to terms with the death himself.

By now a learned and capable individual, Albus was warmly received back into the House of Amador by the Matriarch Olessya Amador, though the relationship with his father continued to be strained. Radmir Amador refused to acknowledge his son as an Amador upon his return, but was himself rebutted by the Matriarch, who was the only one with the authority to strip the House name off of one of their own. As a result, Albus also lost contact with his brother, Mikhail.

Despite this, Nataliya Amador was overjoyed at the return of her Cousin to Household and the pair began to work on various projects together, including a History of the House of Amador, which Albus co-authored with Nataliya and Aleksandr Audemar, resulting in a rise of station to Chronologist of the House of Amador. During this period, Albus remained in constant communications with Ursus Grandaxe, travelling annually to Kal'Darakaan to receive instruction in his tutelage.

Shortly thereafter, the House of Amador benefitted from the news of the Ludwig Affair, resulting in the return of Nobility to the House of Amador and the enfeoffing of Nataliya Amador as the Baroness of Mondstadt. In such events, Albus is believed to have played no part.

Veletz & Aaunic Shipbuilding

In 1916, The Wars:Adrian Rebellion broke out and the Aaunic Royal Navy sent out a request for capable shipbuilders. Quite unexpectedly, Albus took up a correspondence with the Caius Godwin Alstion and was hired as a Shipbuilder. The House of Amador had a history of shipbuilding, a history and practice that Albus took interest in, having come from a previously been a sea-facing household. As a result, he created the HMS Albus, a 28-Gun Frigate that was designated as a armed transport vessel. It is not known if the vessel saw any naval action.

The experience with the Aaunic Royal Navy earned Albus some contacts within the Kingdom of Aaun, experience he would later use to start the Amador Shipbuilding company with Nataliya Amador, as well contacts in the months to come. Whilst being a civil war, The Adrian Rebellion soon garnered exterior enemies with the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, however Albus did not take part in any of the fighting.

Mage's Guild & Strange Pillars

Albus travelled to the Mage's Guild in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan as a means to seek refuge from the concerns of Human politics, where he met the Voidal Mage, Sarah Artenin. Taking up residence in the nearby village of Corbenic, Albus spent his time experimenting with the Voidal magics he had learnt thus far, such as: placing a time-piece through the void to see if time had stopped or continued & placing a thermometer through the void to see if the temperature changed. None of the experiments gave any interesting results.

Shortly thereafter strange pillars began to appear in the vicinity of the Kingdom of Aaun and the Duchy of Adria. As part of a research expedition, Albus went to the affected sites and began to study them with his peers. After a handful of months, the expedition concluded that the Pillars were part of a larger ritual, with two of the three pillar becoming activated and giving off feelings of nausea and decay. Plant-life near the pillars withered away, leading to the conclusion of some strange necrotic forces at work. Albus is believed to have corresponded with Edith of Reinmar about the situation, in which she praised his academic deductions. Though it was sadly too late.

The Mori'quessir Wars

Following the activation of the Pillars, a series of dark events took place around Almaris. Mori'quessir began to attacking a series of nations, including the Grand Kingdom of Urguan & Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. A Lich rose the corpse of a deceased dragon, known as Cloudbreaker, which attacked the Kingdom of Balian. Albus is believed to have taken the role of a Medic & Shield-guardian during the attacks on Balian and Haense, but he refused to commit violence, citing a belief in Pacifism.

During one such battle against the Mori'quessir, Albus was one of few to bare witness to the Madness of Koeng Georg I of Haense and saved several lives during the bloodshed, including that of Nataliya Amador after she was caught in a rage for revenge. As Kingdom after Kingdom fell to the hordes of the Mori'quessir invasions, Descendent-Kind fell back to the Ruins of Savoy on the South Coast, where Albus was instrumental in the setting up of medical facilities for the refugees.

The Savoy Refugee Camp

With the Mori'quessir hordes pushing and squeezing the Descendent-Kind more and more towards the Ruins of Savoy, Descendent-kind was ghettoized within the districts of the City, causing a serious problem for famine and illness. As one of the first to end up in the Savoy Ruins, Albus set up a medical clinic within the East Wing of the former settlement, medically treating all patients regardless of race as well as aiding in the birth of a baby. During this dark period, The Brotherhood of Brev entered the ruins and took up the defense of Descendent-Kind.

Their presence was harsh on the inhabitants, but it was a cruel-kindness to allow them to do their duty to defend them, granting the Descendants a fighting chance of survival. Albus aided the Brotherhood by tending to their wounds when they were injured, whilst his family members aided in the defense where possible. Eventually, the Descendants were forced back to the Palace of San Luciano, where the ground gave way and revealed a large uninhabited cavern system. They all fled while the Brotherhood of Brev stood behind as a Rearguard against the Mori'quessir.

The Caverns led them into unknown and mysterious planes, until they emerged into Aevos. The experience coloured Albus' perspective on his own virtues, nature of good versus evil, as well as how he could best prevent such tragedies again.

Aevos

Upon arriving in Aevos, Albus followed the House of Amador with the other refugees from the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, where they worked to set up the Capital city of Valdev. Albus, for his efforts, was inducted into the Clinic of Saint Amayas as a General Practitioner. However, he spent a majority of his time continuing his magical studies within a newly-built Townhouse Tower, aiding the Baroness Nataliya where he was able.

During this period, Albus spent a great amount of time away from Valdev exploring the new continent of Aevos, discovering among other wonders the Memory tree, a Large tree that sat admist a mountain range and a large lake. Upon drinking the Waters, Albus experienced his previous memories, allowing him to become more reflective a personality. Whilst not travelling, he spent his time working with the Amador Shipbuilders company, creating new vessels for merchants within the Kingdom of Aaun. He also attended to the mentorship of the Amador Children, such as Henrik III Amador. Albus dabbled in the People's Assembly of Valdev, as the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska worked off a new two-tiered nobility system which precluded those lesser than a Viscount to partake in the Noble chamber of the Duma; a system which the Baroness Nataliya Amador and her consort, Aleksandr Audemar, detested. It did, however, act as a useful tool for teaching children of politics.

Amidst these times, there was a rise in Darkspawn activity within the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. Frost-witches had summered a never-ending blizzard which froze Valdev. The Wife of Albus' Cousin, Ser Sterling, Allessandra d'Vend, was discovered to be a Darkspawn. A Vampire, who had infiltrated the House. Ser Sterling was dishonored by the incident and the young Child of Allessandra, Aurelia, was left almost completely Abandoned. Albus took up the duties of the Girl's Guardian in the absence of her father, his cousin. However, this latest shock galvanized Albus to action. Herein, he attempted to mold the young girl into a weapon against Dark creatures, forcing him to prevent her induction into a Canonist monastery, as decreed by the Crown. The Crown and Church took no action to enforce their will, though their persecution of any darkspawn threats were swift and merciless.

The Fall of the Phoenix

The True Likeness of Nataliya Amador, Circa 1930.

In 1933, the House of Amador was struck by the sudden loss of their Baroness, Nataliya Amador. Whilst Albus was aiding the Baroness as she was giving birth to her fifth child, Theodosya, the Baroness suffered a hemorrhage and died. The details around this event are shrouded with mystery and debate. Some suspect that Albus had killed the Baroness, whether by incompetency or design, for his own gain. Others still, including Albus himself, claimed that it was the result of the increased pressure on the Baroness to produce children which weakened her.

Regardless, after the event, Albus claimed that Nataliya Amador named her cousin as the Regent of the House upon her death-bed until her oldest son came of age, with no one else present at the time. This caused a crisis within the House of Amador, with the Baroness-Consort Aleksandr Audemar & Nataliya's Twin sister Liridona Amador having been overlooked, angering both of them. Albus did not waste time to arrange the Burial of the Baroness, arranging the wardships of the Amador Children & representing the Household within the People's Assembly.

The False Regency

Aleksandr Audemar, Baroness-Consort of Nataliya, suffered with a severe bereavement at the loss of his Wife. During the first few months after her death, he secluded himself in his room and neglected the children. Upon recovering, Aleksandr had a meeting with Albus and demanded he resign as the Regent of the Household. Claiming he was acting out of honour for his House, Albus refused, resulting in Aleksandr producing the Letters of the Bereaved and denouncing Albus as The False Regent.

During this period, the House of Amador began to suffer from a schism within the family. However, Albus continued to tutor the heir, Henrik III Amador. He does not appear to have changed much following the death of the Baroness, nor does he appear to have used to situation to any particular advantage, leading some to suspect that he was indeed acting out of honour.

As the Schism began to form, Koeng Aleksandr II of Haense Intervened. Having taken a liking the young Henrik III Amador, The Koeng called an audience with the feuding sides of the Amador Family to settle the matter. The previous day, the Lords within the Kongzem Duma voiced a disdain for Aleksandr becoming the Amador Regent, preferring to support Albus' Claim. Nevertheless, The Koeng decided Albus did not have sufficient documentation to support his regency, though equally stated that he did not doubt the man's honour in carrying out the wishes of the late Baroness. Legally Unable to Choose Albus, Socially Unable to Choose Aleksandr, The Koeng named Liridona the Regent of the Amadors. The decision was not unexpected and Albus swore fealty to the new Regent Immediately, but the decision nonetheless placed a spotlight on Liridona and did not fix the schism Aleksandr Audemar now felt. Isolated, he would take his own life soon after & the House of Amador began to heal.

During this period, Albus encountered a specter referring to themselves as Fate, who attempted to trick the academically-minded doctor into being possessed with the promise of greater knowledge. Whilst he avoided a confrontation, it was a dark reminder to keep vigilant of dark entities. He also had to curb the actions of the Poltergeist, Nicolette Amador, after she possessed a doll in hopes of garnering the favour of Albus' Student, Aurelia. After threatening to banish Nicolette should she unduly influence his student, the poltergeist acquiesced to the Professor Amador.

The Adunian Experiment

Through the pressures he had undertaken since the False Regency, Albus returned to travelling around Aevos. He is believed to have spent some time within the The Exilic Kingdom of Númendil, where he befriended a woman named Faeleth. The pair, despite being different in their outlooks on life, appear to have sought comfort in each other. The result of this match, though not approved through an act of marriage, resulted in the Birth of Katherina Sophia. Albus is believed to have visited the pair on a regular, though spread-out basis, avoiding arguments with Faeleth whilst attending to the care of his hidden family. None would learn of the existence of Katherina Sophia until years later.

It is believed by some members of the House of Amador that Albus had darker motivations to his actions in Númendil; An avid reader of Amador History under the tenure of the late Baroness, some suspect that Albus was attempting to return the House of Amador to more Adunian roots, as they were back in the days of Aegis & Asulon. However, other argue that such is vicious rumour meant to discredit the Professor Amador, claiming that the breaches within his family left him to feel more isolated and alone. Such may have resulted in a need for comfort.

Albus is believed to have also spent this time learning Transfiguartion and Wind Evocation in the Commonwealth of the Petra & Lurin. He also appears to have rekindled friendships within the City of Hohkmat, a Voidal-Magi controlled settlement within Petra, which would become a favoured place for Albus to visit over the years to come. During the Regency tenure of his Cousin Liridona, Albus is believed to have met with Bo Amador and warmed to the boy. However his actions in the kidnapping of the regent led to the Boy's Disownment from the House of Amador. Nonetheless, Albus maintained a correspondence and even attended his wedding, despite the Aevos Coalition War heating up among Humans

After some years past, Liridona Amador's Regency for the Baron Henrik III Amador ended, wherein Albus reconnected with his family. However, Albus resigned from his position as a general practitioner and surgeon for the Clinic of Saint Amaya, as he took up a more serious study into the Voidal Arts and the development of Aurelia as a Paladin of Xan. His frequent involvement in her life bordered on Manipulation, however, he appears to have viewed it as a necessary evil to develop someone equal to the task of defending the House of Amador from the horrors described in the Diary of Daniel Amador.

The Duchy of Brabant

Following the death of Allessandra d'Vend, Ser Sterling Amador renounced his Amador name and took up a half-barreled surname dedicated to his ancestors, Ayldan Blaxton & Aylwin Blaxton: Whitewood-Blaxton. After spending his own time battling against dark forces, including darkspawn and others, Sterling was eventually enfeoffed with the Marchdom of Lotusgrad by King Cyrus I of the Kingdom of the Wee. This was, in part, to create an Owynist knightly order in the region to defend the area against Darkspawn.

Some years later, Albus received a letter from his Cousin, Sterling; with strange happening in the now Duchy of Brabant, Albus' cousin request him to come to the region and spend the time investigating the threats of the region. A gathering of necromancers, led by one known as The Vicar, had been in the area and causing trouble. On one such occasion, the skies above turned a deep blood-red and an armoured, Infernal Hellhound was summoned: Fenrir the Cerberus. To tackle this threat, Sterling called the Silver Crusade, requesting the aid of the Brotherhood of the Golden Lion & the Church of the Canon's Holy swords. Aurelia joined, as did Henrik III Amador, Albus' Father Ser Radmir Amador & Henrik's brother Karl Isaak Amador. During this time, Albus met Aurelia's Husband, a Holy knight named Ser Gerard.

As payment for his services, Duke Sterling Whitewood-Blaxton granted Professor Albus Amador the custodianship of Blackwell Tower, situated to the south-west of Brabant. It would later become the Professor's primary residence, a research outpost against dark forces and a school for some of the Professor's students.

Battles against Evil

Fenrir the Cerberus was a giant creature which was armoured in a strange material, making it very difficult to attack with sword or sabre. On 10th day of Snow's Maiden, 1972, the initial confrontation with the beast began; Silver Crusaders mounted the walls of Brabant with Ballistae armed with Aurum & Cannons. Albus, now styled as Professor Albus Amador, stood at the front of the Duke of Brabant's Ballistae and summoned an Air Shield to defend the siege weapon against the Malfire breathed down by Fenrir.

As he did so, Albus is known to have given a speech, designed to distract Fenrir as the Crusaders attempted to grievously wound the dark creature:

"A Young Wizard, there was... Five score back, he read Daniel's Diary: It warned of ve Evil that stalked from Asulon aboard Amador Ships, murdering ve Founder ag following ve family.

Three score since, that Wizard took a child, dishonoured & derided by Descendants. He taught them of Evil and, from behind the scenes, how to defeat it. The Child did this for him, not knowing for what purpose or design...Today, ve Cycle ends! Daemon - Ea Defy vy ag vyr Evil! Vy’re not Invincible — Vy’re just as weak as any Inferi, eaten out with jealous, envy, ag longing for Power over others. But Vy will niet have Power over us! Just Try It! - HM - Try to match vyr power against Eam! Try to Overpower Eam! Ea have lived a LONG life, ag ea have seen a few things: Ea walked away from the Mori'quessir War. Ea marked ve passing of ve Cloudbreaker & Almaris, ea saw ve manifestations of ve Void, travelled through ve darkness to Failor, ag stumbled into Aevos! Ea walked across this continent & been where rational thought, critical thought, went to die. Ea have drank from ve waters of Ve Memory Tree ag revisted mea Greatest accomplishments & failures. Ea have watched Cities Freeze, ag Creation burn. Ea have Lost things you will Never understand — Ag ea know things. Knowledge. Secrets that must never be told. Never be Spoken! Knowledge that will make Daemons like vy RECOIL!

SO COME OOOOOONNNN THEEENNN, TRY IT!!! IS THAT THE BEST VY CAN DO?! HM?"

A depiction of Fenrir the Cerberus, Infernal Hellhound

The distraction had worked. A cannonball pierced the neck of one of Fenrir's three heads, decapitating it and later being claimed by Alberic du Lac, however the beast had escaped. The speech had also placed a strain upon Aurelia's relationship with her elderly uncle and mentor-figure, resulting in Albus being slapped hard in front of the silver Crusaders at the conclusion of the first battle. Only one soldier was believed to have died in the battle, having been gnawed and torn asunder by the Infernal Hellhound.

Some days later, the Silver Crusaders sallied out of the gates of Brabant and hunted for Fenrir to finish the job, with Albus riding along with the Duke Sterling. Upon finding their target, initial sallies did only limited damage to Fenrir. However, as the Cerberus was being distracted once more by the mixture of Paladins & Holy Swords of the Church, Albus summoned a mighty tornado centered on the Infernal Hellhound. Trees twisted and broke, stones overturned and hit the Hellhound as limbs were coiled about logs, breaking the beast until it was effectively torn to shreds. However, the exhaustion from casting such a mastery of Wind Evocation rendered Albus unconscious, just as the Silver Crusaders were surrounded by Azdrazi. Albus would later wake up along a random roadside in Aevos.

Aenguls & Demons

Limping to the City of Hohkmat, Albus would then be found by the Grand Magister, Razad the Fatebinder. Taken to the Hohkmat clinic, Albus suffered from a coma after the encounter, due to magical overexertion from the encounter with Fenrir the Ceberus. Unbeknownst to the Professor, Albus developed a mastery of Voidal Magic and also had a fragment of the Infernal Hellhound's Armour upon his person, until he awoke. Suffering from headaches and a spectrum of colours, Albus spent most of his time close to medical supplies to treat his symptoms as he sent letters out to discover what happened following Fenrir's demise. As he did so, Sarah Artenin outlined the events in the Xannite-Azdrazi war to him.

Having learnt of the death of Alberic du Lac and the Xannite Omens during his coma, Professor Albus Amador travelled to the Paladin Stronghold of Sunbreak to reconnect with his former student, Paladin Aurelia. During the period that she had been inducted into the Brotherhood of the Golden Lion, the Paladins of Xan were in conflict with the Azdrazi & the Archdrakaar Azdromoth. The ambush following the second battle against Fenrir the Cerberus had been a ploy to lure Alberic out and drag him to Azdromoth for interrogation. However, Xan is believed to have possess Alberic and wounded Azdromoth, before the Paladins were able to escape.

After learning of the truth of the events surrounding his coma, Albus was thus invited to see Xan atop a mountain on an island beyond the Kingdom of Balian. Making the Journey, Albus was translocated to an unknown island in the sky with a dilapidated temple, where Xan showed himself with a mixture of Sapphire, Yellow, Red and Black Mist before deriding the actions of the Brotherhood of the Golden Lion thus far. Xan decreed he would descend from the heavens and fight the evils himself, bringing about a new conflict between Aenguls & Demons. Albus had transcribed the accounter within the Amadorian Spellbook before he attempted to gain Xan's attention, but was furiously scrutinized by Xan before returning to Aevos. Following this encounter, Albus relayed the information he had to the Magisters of Hohkmat: Grand Magister Faeryel, Sarah Artenin, Laurissa Thriceblood & Sulieronn Ashwood whom all concluded something amiss with the Aengul of Order and Guardianship.

During the meeting with Xan with other allies to the Brotherhood of the Golden Lion, Xan made it clear that he did not approve of a plan to release Sol Invicta, conceived by the Messenger of the Aenguls, Sordran the Dragaar. He ordered the Paladins to not free her, as he had placed her there in the first place for his own designs. Given the uncharacteristic attitude of Xan and the uncommon colours of the Aengul's Mist, however, Albus and a faction of the Paladins disregarded this command and attempted to follow Sordran's plan. Gathering in Sunbreak and using a magical teleportation, the Paladins travelled to the Abyss, the fallen remains of Aegis.

Death

Sketch of Forsworn Diante the Cometstruck

Traversing the sooty, shade-ridden landscape, the Paladins happened across Sol Invicta. The Lion of the Abyss. She stood before a ruined structure lit by a blue-flamed bonfire alongside two Abyss-walking Death Knights: Forsworn Diante & Adryth. Richard Othaman, who led the party, attempted to seek counsel from the Demi-Aengul of Order. Whereas others sought to free her. The lack of cohesion in the party is believed to have angered Sol Invicta, who showed herself to look decayed and wraith-like, however it was also claimed by the forsworn that she and they were bound to the Abyss in an eternal battle against Mordring within his own lair. After Aurae of Arbi was grotesquely slain after she had sworn to aid Sol Invicta in their battle, cohesion broke apart and a battle ensued.

Albus was attacked by Forsworn Diante as Aurelia and he fled; a magical & ethereal chain wrapped around the Professor, tripping him up. Albus is said to have commanded his niece to flee before attempting to escape the chain of the Abyss-walking Death-Knight by Voidal Translocatory arts. However, the resulting flashes of battle ended with Albus being severed at the waist. He died in the Abyss in 1976 from bloodloss after injuries sustained in that encounter. Many died in the encounter, but only the Professor Amador and Aurae were later burnt on the Blue Bonfire Sol Invicta stood at.

Despite having spent a lifetime attempting to safeguard against Demonic forces, it is believed that Professor Albus Amador's soul wanders the wastes of the Abyss as a shade, awaiting an opportunity to join the rest of his family in the Seven Skies. Following his death, a Last Will & Testament, along with a series of letters, were discovered and then distributed by his Cousin, Ser Sterling Whitewood-Blaxton.

Appearance & Personality

Professor Albus Amador's Attire, c.1925-1970

During his early years, the Amador dressed himself in the colours of the House of Amador, with a fashionable shoulder-cloak and white shirt. However, as he grew older, his tastes became more strange. His eyesight became more strained, forcing him to wear half-moon spectacles, which he was having to constantly push back up the bridge of his nose. The Professor stopped shaving, preferring to wear a Frock-coat with waist-coat and tartan trousers than his young apparel. A Blue-ribbon bow-tie placed neatly at the neck. During his youth, he was often seen toying with a Quietus Crystal, but traded this out later for the Amadorian Spellbook. When not in this Academic attire, Albus would often be seen wearing a medical lab-coat within the confines of the Clinic of St Amayas. Following the call to the Duchy of Brabant, the Wardrobe of the Professor was completely upended for more comfortable robes of blue, purple and black.

Professor Albus Amador's personality was infamously eccentric. Prone to sudden mood-swings which appeared arbitary, the Professor more often than not came across as a quiet but serious individual with shades of whimsy. Due in part to his connection to the Voidal Arts, Albus developed an involuntary verbal tick early in his magical education, which sounded like a harsh & judging hum. He also had a whimsical sounding chuckle, that came off in different pitched hums, which acted as much an indicator of his eccentric personality as himself. He disliked being touched, sometimes acting paranoid around people.

Despite all this, Albus Amador appears to have been a genuinely kind-hearted individual, who made hard choices during his life for a greater good of both the House of Amador and Descendent-Kind as a whole. He is known to have put himself in great danger for his principles and, arguable, it was this feature of his personality that ended him. He often prided himself on coining a new phrase of wisdom, which he would pass on to students, peers and friends alike. One of which was the guiding mantra for both himself and his students:

"It is better to save an Innocent life than to take a Guilty one. It is better for the Soul"'
