Sosina Ottina Amador was the Matriarch of the House of Amador following the death of Ruslan III Amador. She was, during her lifetime, titled 8th Baroness of Mondstadt.

Appearance & Personality

Sosina was a beautiful Neumarian lady in her youth, with soft pale skin, glimmering round eyes, and also had a unique appearance due to a recessive gene from past generations of Amadors - having fiery red hair.

Despite displaying a lack of wisdom in her youth, she grew up to be mindful of the advice of her peers and was always confident in whatever steps she made. To some, she came off as stubborn noble lady, but truthfully, she held a deep-seated insecurity, due to her position and not wanting to be interpreted as weak-willed or dismissed for her gender.

Baroness of Mondstadt

Sosina became Baroness of Mondstadt in 1793 at the age of sixteen & the first years as Baroness were a rough start for her. Mondstadt was said to have been haunted by a violent ghost, at the time, drawn to a curious relic Sosina had been gifted by a stranger, during a trip southward to the Holy Orenian Empire. Due to her own stubborn refusal to ask for help from the Crown, Church or other notable figures, she was forced to tackle the supernatural phenomena with her own resources. A Book where she had written down her experiences with the phenomena has been lost in the Morrivi Library.

She successfully thwarted the entity on her own, and grew increasingly more religious in the years afterwards; Sosina began to form charities and promote the formation of almshouses and insisted that a lot of the profits would be given to the Church.

For the family's name, she wanted to expand and better brand the business of the family, pursuing investments in fine furs and in mineral mines, primarily sable and lapis lazuli for both of their rich qualities and their potential to become representational traits for House Amador.

Sosina admired the arts greatly as well, though there wasn't much of it celebrated across the Kingdom of Haense at the time she was alive. She attempted to invite artists & literary wordsmiths from the Southern Kingdoms to support and encourage their crafts & to be spread that knowledge into North. However, her patronage of these activities do not appear to have been successful.

She married Aldrik Sigmund Baruch of Valwyck, who had served as a Regent of Mondstadt for the Amadors, and had two boys: Ramdir II Amador & Petyr Sigmar Amador.

During a trip further north to strengthen relations with House of Baruch at Valwyck, she was stung by a bee and died shortly after of a severe allergic reaction.
