Henrik Amador the Second was the Patriarch of the House of Amador during the relocation of the House to Atlas. At this time, the House of Amador, under the leadership of the Matriarch Katherine Amelia Amador, his mother, the family returned to the Kingdom of Haense to seek closer ties to their Neumarian kin, however she was unable to regain the nobility or land of the House during her tenure.

Background

The second of two children, his mother was born to a small, loving family at their home named Gravelhold, upon the isle of Tahn. She was raised primarily around her home, or around Mardon though as she grew older, her mother, Artemis Palaiologos de Savin often took her to visit Santegia and Hagios Lothar; her own home. She was not too old when her father, Henrik I Amador passed and after the event she took to caring for her mother, who had plummeted into a state of sadness.

Her life was mostly uneventful. It was spent playing with her older brother, Rennard Amador and visiting what remained of her extended family within the Kingdom of Haense. After the transition to the new isles with her mother, she found to realize her brother had not joined them. She had no explanation, and her mother had been in no state to keep even the slightest note of her sons whereabouts.

Not long after their arrival in Atlas, Katherine's mother passed away, leaving her to fend for herself. She was not as business minded as her kin and this loss of mentorship took a toll on the fortunes of the House still further. They had took to residing within Santegia once more, Artemis having been grateful to be away from the Amadors who had once hated her. Her mothers passing left Katherine at a loss. It had been her duty to care for the woman, whom she had loved dearly, and now she was alone and lost.

She is known to have married Bastian Grayson, a Southern Commoner.

The marriage between herself and Bastian Grayson was one fraught with worry as much as love. During her younger years, Bastian was absent from her, spending his time acting as a mercenary for the conflicts of Atlas. By the time he did return to her, they were both in their late forties. Regardless, they attempted to start a family together and, through nothing short of a miracle, had four children from 1678 and 1687: Rebekah Amelia Amador, Henrik II Amador, Owyn Amador the Lesser & Otto Amador.

From Ashes, We Rise

As stated above, The story of the House of Amador in Atlas was far from the tales of its more glorious and prestigious past. Due to misfortune and, perhaps, poor leadership, the house fell into disarray. Slowly, its power dwindled and its status withered away; the final blow that ended Amador influence in Atlas was a failed banking adventure, which ended up diminishing all of the House's wealth and reduced them to their lowest state, especially to those who'd taken loans from the House and now saw them powerless to demand their money back.

In the last few years of Atlas, Henrik Amador, styling himself Henrik II, laid claim to the family name. He was of a weaker branch of the family and initially not the heir of the House, as his mother preferred to name Rebekah the heir. His granduncle Ruslan II Amador was the man holding the family title of Patriarch until he died childless at an old age, with no issue and no male heir. Once he was of age, Henrik II claim the Patriarch title for himself upon the passing of his Mother in 1699 and so he did, ruling over an essentially powerless family in the waning days of Atlas.

Upon arriving in Arcas, the ambitious and young Henrik was relentless in his pursuit. He managed to take back the nobility status of House Amador after the Ludovar Trial and married a Santegian princess, Tamar of Biscay, with whom he had four sons: Ruslan, Albert, Edvard and Karl. Not long after these first successes however, Henrik became sick with lung disease, believed to either be tuberculosis or a genetic condition that fell from Owyn Amador and his line. The young family of six could not find a medic in Arcas capable of healing Henrik, but heard there were doctors in Aeldin that could, before setting sail for the faraway continent. After many years, the Amadors returned to Arcas, their Patriarch having survived his disease, but by now being an old man and a mere shadow of his youthful, energetic self. This return marked a turning point however, as the House of Amador managed to, within a few years, regain the nobility status they had lost in their absence, becoming Lords of Haense and Barons of Mondstadt once again.

Henrik II Amador died of his lung related illness in 1760 in the Barony of Mondstadt.
