Joseph Clement Sarkozy (1st of Malin's Welcome, 1731–Present) was the firstborn child and son of Adrian Sarkozy, Duke of Adria and his wife, Mariya Angelika of Reza. He was christened with the title 'Duke of Helena', and betrothed to the heir of the Holy Orenian Empire, the Princess Imperial Anne Augusta from her birth.
Early Life
Birth and Family
Joseph II was born in Renz in the Duchy of Adria on 1st of Malin's Welcome, 1731. He was the first of four children of Adrian de Sarkozy, Duke of Adria and Mariya Angelika of Reza. His mother was the eldest daughter of King Marius II of Haense and sister to King Andrew III of Haense.
Four months after Joseph was born, his father was granted the title Lord Protector of Oren after the death of the previous Emperor, Alexander II.
