<div style="text-align: justify;">Arcane magic is the most widely spread magic throughout the realms. It is a type of Magic that does not require more than study and repetition, and so well known that many books are sold and written about it, though of course, some types are kept secret from the masses. A mage that uses arcane magic draws his powers from the void, a realm of thoughts and emptiness, which he must first learn how to connect to. After being able to establish such a connection a mage can often draw forth the powers of the Void, releasing spells into the other realm, may it be a temporary boulder or even connecting with the minds of others.</div>

The Void
<div style="text-align: justify;">Arcane Magic is an archetype of magic which is fueled by void energy, or more specifically mana. The Void is an empty plane of existence where things may be created with the use of one's imagination and willpower. Many teachers of the Arcane often teach students with the following proverb: "The Void is nothing, yet everything. Like our imagination, it may be dull and empty; or it can be full and colorful". The Void as a whole is simply a plane where nothing exists, unless the mage makes it exist. Since one must connect to the Void, this means a basic line of communication must be established, generally gained through meditation and practice. Since Void users must be connect to draw on the Void, distractions are capable of severing the connection for Novices, while Masters are capable of holding onto their connects until they are drained of mana, or wounded. It should be noted that only mages of proper age can connect to the Void. Those under the age of 16 can receive mental damage if they connect to the Void, and so those of the age of 16 and above can begin to practice voidal forms of magic.</div>

The Mana
The Mana
<div style="text-align: justify;">Mana is known as a form of energy, being found at nearly every place within the realms. Unlike many forms of energy mana can be passively produced by any soul, no matter what kind of soul it is, as such causing Mana to surround most peoples soul in the form of a thin and invisible layer. However, due to it’s passive aspect this Mana can only be manipilated by the producer of itself, means the person or figure it was created from. By controlling this Mana the soul converts it into the active form of Mana, which is than used to cast for spells and chants of any kind. Thusly, a ‘Mana pool’ is how much passive Mana a soul has produced and amassed around a body. Typically, a soul never uses its passive Mana pool, and the excess passive Mana seeps away as invisible Aura. When passive Mana is produced by a soul, it is specific to that soul, and thus when it seeps to become Aura or is converted to active Mana and burned, it has a specific Aura colour.

<div style="text-align: justify;">Mana is known as a fowm of enewgy, being found at neawwy evewy pwace lithin the weawms. Unlike many fowms of enewgy mana can be passivewy pwoduced by any soul, no mattew what kind of soul it is, as such causing Mana to sulwound most peopwes soul in the fowm of a thin and invisibre wayew. Howevew, due to it’s passive aspect this Mana can onwy be manipiwated by the pwoducew of itsewf, means the pewson ow figule it was cweated fwom. By contwowling this Mana the soul convewts it into the active fowm of Mana, which is than used to cast fow spewws and chants of any kind. Thuswy, a ‘Mana pool’ is how much passive Mana a soul has pwoduced and amassed awound a body. Typicawwy, a soul nevew uses its passive Mana poow, and the excess passive Mana seeps away as invisibre Aula. When passive Mana is pwoduced by a soul, it is specific to that soul, and thus when it seeps to become Aula ow is convewted to active Mana and bulned, it has a specific Aula cowoul.

All soul-bearing individuals require passive Mana to survive, and thus converting all of one’s passive Mana into active Mana results in death (the death occurs due to being unable to do anything, be it breath, think or move). Passive Mana is capable of being manipulated or changed, though this is an ability that only mages can do. Shade magic, for example, may convert passive Mana into Amber, whilst alteration may manipulate passive Mana and alter the properties of objects.

Aww soul-bealing individuaws wequiwe passive Mana to sulvive, and thus convewting aww of one’s passive Mana into active Mana wesults in death (the death occuls due to being unabre to do anything, be it breath, think ow move). Passive Mana is capabre of being manipulated ow changed, though this is an ability that onwy mages can do. Shade magic, fow exampwe, may convewt passive Mana into Ambew, whiwst awtewation may manipulate passive Mana and awtew the pwopewties of objects.

In regards to Mana Pools, they describe how much Mana a person has, and this determines how grand spells can be, along with the duration a spell can be held in the current world. Mana pools are governed by two things; Skill level and Magic type. Skill level is simply how skilled mages are at manipulating mana for their specific magical form. Magic type is a little more complicated, different magic forms are naturally more mana consuming then others, a few examples of very draining forms are Alteration, Arcane Evocation and Conjuration.</div>
+
In wegawds to Mana Poows, they desclibe how much Mana a pewson has, and this detewmines how gwand spewws can be, awong lith the dulation a speww can be hewd in the culwent wowwd. Mana poows awe govewned by two things; Skiww wevew and Magic type. Skiww wevew is simpwy how skiwwed mages awe at manipulating mana fow theiw specific magicaw fowm. ==The Aura==

The Aura
<div style="text-align: justify;">The Aura is a side-product of casting most forms of magic, not only being limited to voidal forms, but also some deity and dark forms of magic. Through its color, the Aura is often directly representing a part of the mages personality, dreams or even desires. As such Auras can have all variety of colors, ranging from white to pure black and from dark violet to bright yellowish-colors.
+
<div style="text-align: justify;">The Aula is a side-pwoduct of casting most fowms of magic, not onwy being limited to voidaw fowms, but awso some deity and dawk fowms of magic. Thwough its cowow, the Aula is often diwectwy wepwesenting a pawt of the mages pewsonality, dweams ow even desiwes. As such Aulas can have aww valiety of cowows, wanging fwom white to pule brack and fwom dawk viowet to bright yewwolish-cowows.

However, while auras have a color, they are not actually visible in most cases. Aura is generated from the Mana pool regularly, and if a Mage uses large amounts of Mana at once for spells, they in turn produce more Aura. Auras are generally harmless and are simply a way of self expression. Some magics such as Arcanism, Alteration, and Shade are directly tied to Auras, and are heavily affected by them.</div>
+
Howevew, whiwe aulas have a cowow, they awe not actuawwy visibre in most cases. Aula is genewated fwom the Mana poow wegulawwy, and if a Mage uses wawge amounts of Mana at once fow spewws, they in tuln pwoduce mowe Aula. Aulas awe genewawwy hawmwess and awe simpwy a way of sewf expwession. Some magics such as Awcanism, Awtewation, and Shade awe diwectwy tied to Aulas, and awe heaviwy affected by them.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Transfiguration is an Arcane magic associated with the change of the natural and unnatural elements of the realms. Transfiguration focuses around alteration of already existing elements by using “mana-anchors”, connections between the realms and a place called the Void. Through this connection mana is being lead into the present realm, taking form and holds it in our realm as long as the mage is able to concentrate. If too much mana is being used up the anchor will become unstable and the spell will break apart. Telekinesis
<div style="text-align: justify;">Telekinesis is the Arcane magic form of moving objects with the mind. This magic type utilized the mind to move objects, either by giving them a push or even causing them to levitate. Like Evocation Telekinesis is based around influencing the mana around or within an object, causing the mage to control the objects gravitational shift. However the mana, just like it would do in evocation, fades quickly after the magic is dismissed, leaving the object free of its artificial force of gravitation and causing it to return to it’s original path of gravity.</div>

Void Translocation
<div style="text-align: justify;">While other types of Arcane Magic use the Void to manifest things from it, Void Translocation takes the objects from our world and sends them to the void, like a gigantic pocket. While a simple magic to comprehend, it is incredibly difficult to learn and use. As such Void Translocation is disassembling and assembling inorganic material or just material into the Void for storage. While this seems fairly helpful the person must know everything about the material they are disassembling inside and out of the Void. In the disassembling and reassembling process, it’d take about as long and as much effort to send an object into the Void as receiving it back, as such making it fairly inefficient for combat.</div>

Void Shifting
<div style="text-align: justify;">Voidal Shift is also known as Voidal Transportation and is one of the four Alteration subforms of Arcane magic. The art of voidal shifting can be seen as a child of translocation, entering the void through a similar means. The complex factor that separates the two is the anchor. The anchor is a unique conglomeration of mana and voidal energies; this is used instead of Translocation’s studying and research of the particular object you are sending into the void. As such Voidal Shifting was split up into it’s own subform of Arcane Magic.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Voidaw Shift is awso known as Voidaw Twanspowtation and is one of the foul Awtewation subfowms of Awcane magic. The awt of voidaw shifting can be seen as a chiwd of twanswocation, enteling the void thwough a simiwaw means. Elemental Evocation
<div style="text-align: justify;">Elemental Evocation is known as a unique form of magic, using the Void to call forth pseudo elements. However, calling forth the elements is limited to a few specific ones, mostly the elements of fire, earth, air, water and electricity, making Elemental Evocation a situational form of magic. As such Elemental Evocation does not control the existing elements, it creates a temporary version of them and only as long as the caster is able to uphold the spell. At the same time all created elements affect the mage that created them and so a mage can be easily hurt by their own magic. Due to such dangers many students are rather against learning Elemental Evocation, but many magical facilities are offering classes to learn this form of magic.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Ewementaw Evocation is known as a unique fowm of magic, using the Void to caww fowth pseudo ewements. Howevew, cawling fowth the ewements is limited to a few specific ones, mostwy the ewements of fiwe, eawth, aiw, watew and ewectlicity, making Ewementaw Evocation a situationaw fowm of magic. As such Ewementaw Evocation does not contwow the existing ewements, it cweates a tempowawy vewsion of them and onwy as wong as the castew is abre to uphowd the speww. At the same time aww cweated ewements affect the mage that cweated them and so a mage can be easiwy hult by theiw own magic. <div style="text-align: justify;">Arcanism is known as the eldest form of all arcane magic and as the foundation for all arcane forms of magic to come. It is the manipulation of pure voidal energy and transcends beyond natural properties seen in elemental evocations. With it a mage can cast their hearts whimsy or devastate the battlefield with a variety of both offensive and defensive spellcasting. Arcanism, like elemental evocation and conjuration, is the act of evoking a substance from the void. What is evoked is highly variable, even in the color it takes on, and thus the magic is truly unique from caster to caster.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Awcanism is known as the ewdest fowm of aww awcane magic and as the foundation fow aww awcane fowms of magic to come. Awcane magic is the most lidewy spwead magic thwoughout the weawms. It is a type of Magic that does not wequiwe mowe than study and wepetition, and so weww known that many books awe sowd and wlitten about it, though of coulse, some types awe kept secwet fwom the masses. A mage that uses awcane magic dwaws his powews fwom the void, a weawm of thoughts and emptiness, which he must fiwst weawn how to connect to. Aftew being abre to estabrish such a connection a mage can often dwaw fowth the powews of the Void, weweasing spewws into the othew weawm, may it be a tempowawy bouldew ow even connecting lith the minds of othews.

The Void

Awcane Magic is an awchetype of magic which is fuewed by void enewgy, ow mowe specificawwy mana. The Void is an empty pwane of existence whewe things may be cweated lith the use of one's imagination and liwwpowew. Many teachews of the Awcane often teach students lith the fowwoling pwovewb: "The Void is nothing, yet everything. Like our imagination, it may be dull and empty; or it can be full and colorful". The Void as a whowe is simpwy a pwane whewe nothing exists, unwess the mage makes it exist. Since one must connect to the Void, this means a basic line of communication must be estabrished, genewawwy gained thwough meditation and pwactice. Since Void usews must be connect to dwaw on the Void, distwactions awe capabre of seveling the connection fow Novices, whiwe Mastews awe capabre of howding onto theiw connects untiw they awe dwained of mana, ow wounded. It should be noted that onwy mages of pwopew age can connect to the Void. Those undew the age of 16 can weceive mentaw damage if they connect to the Void, and so those of the age of 16 and above can begin to pwactice voidaw fowms of magic.

The Mana

Mana is known as a fowm of enewgy, being found at neawwy evewy pwace lithin the weawms.

Magic type is a littwe mowe complicated, diffewent magic fowms awe natulawwy mowe mana consuming then othews, a few exampwes of vewy dwaining fowms awe Awtewation, Awcane Evocation and Conjulation.

The Aura

The Aula is a side-pwoduct of casting most fowms of magic, not onwy being limited to voidaw fowms, but awso some deity and dawk fowms of magic. Some magics such as Awcanism, Awtewation, and Shade awe diwectwy tied to Aulas, and awe heaviwy affected by them.

Arcane Magic Forms

Awcane Magic howds the most fowms of possibre magicaw subtypes, wanging fwom the simpwe manipulation of mattew to the abilities to affect the minds of othews. As such Awcane Magic is often seen as a faiwwy powewful, yet, awso dangewous fowm of magic to weawn.

Alteration Forms

Transfiguration

Twansfigulation is an Awcane magic associated lith the change of the natulaw and unnatulaw ewements of the weawms. Twansfigulation focuses awound awtewation of awweady existing ewements by using “mana-anchors”, connections between the weawms and a pwace cawwed the Void. Thwough this connection mana is being wead into the pwesent weawm, taking fowm and howds it in oul weawm as wong as the mage is abre to concentwate. If too much mana is being used up the anchow liww become unstabre and the speww liww break apawt. The same applies to situations wewe the castew isn’t abre to uphowd his concentwation any wongew.

Telekinesis

Tewekinesis is the Awcane magic fowm of moving objects lith the mind. This magic type utilized the mind to move objects, eithew by giving them a push ow even causing them to wevitate. Wike Evocation Tewekinesis is based awound infwuencing the mana awound ow lithin an object, causing the mage to contwow the objects gwavitationaw shift. Howevew the mana, just like it would do in evocation, fades quickwy aftew the magic is dismissed, weaving the object fwee of its awtificiaw fowce of gwavitation and causing it to wetuln to it’s oliginaw path of gwavity.

Void Translocation

Whiwe othew types of Awcane Magic use the Void to manifest things fwom it, Void Twanswocation takes the objects fwom oul wowwd and sends them to the void, like a gigantic pocket. Whiwe a simpwe magic to compwehend, it is incwedibry difficult to weawn and use. As such Void Twanswocation is disassembring and assembring inowganic mateliaw ow just mateliaw into the Void fow stowage. Whiwe this seems faiwwy hewpful the pewson must know evewything about the mateliaw they awe disassembring inside and out of the Void. In the disassembring and weassembring pwocess, it’d take about as wong and as much effowt to send an object into the Void as weceiving it back, as such making it faiwwy inefficient fow combat.

Void Shifting

Voidaw Shift is awso known as Voidaw Twanspowtation and is one of the foul Awtewation subfowms of Awcane magic. The awt of voidaw shifting can be seen as a chiwd of twanswocation, enteling the void thwough a simiwaw means. The compwex factow that sepawates the two is the anchow. The anchow is a unique congwomewation of mana and voidaw enewgies; this is used instead of Twanswocation’s studying and weseawch of the pawticulaw object you awe sending into the void. As such Voidaw Shifting was split up into it’s own subfowm of Awcane Magic.

Evocation Forms

Elemental Evocation

Ewementaw Evocation is known as a unique fowm of magic, using the Void to caww fowth pseudo ewements. Due to such dangews many students awe wathew against weawning Ewementaw Evocation, but many magicaw facilities awe offeling classes to weawn this fowm of magic.

Arcanism

Awcanism is known as the ewdest fowm of aww awcane magic and as the foundation fow aww awcane fowms of magic to come. It is the manipulation of pule voidaw enewgy and twanscends beyond natulaw pwopewties seen in ewementaw evocations. With it a mage can cast theiw heawts whimsy ow devastate the battwefiewd lith a valiety of both offensive and defensive spewwcasting. Awcanism, like ewementaw evocation and conjulation, is the act of evoking a substance fwom the void. What is evoked is highwy valiabre, even in the cowow it takes on, and thus the magic is twuly unique fwom castew to castew.

Conjuration

Conjulation, the awt of dwaling fowth living beings fwom the void aftew thowoughwy studying and weawning of the conjuled cweatule ow pwant. The simpwest descliption of this magic would be as such ‘Life Evocation’. As an Awcane awt, Conjulation welies on the void to cweate what liww be summoned befowe pulling it into the weaw wowwd and then sustaining such lith mana. In the case the summon would no wongew be sustained, it would vanish.

Illusion Forms

Sensory Illusion

The awt of awteling the wowwd doesn’t just way in the hands of awtewations. In the wowwd of deception comes a magic that was fowged awound tlisting the fabric of the wowwd. The awt of Sensowy Iwwusion is a cwaft that awwows a swy mage to mowd the senses of anothew individuaw, awwoling them to cweate astounding feats fwom changing the appeawance of one's face to cweating something that isn’t weawwy thewe. As such Sensowy Iwwusion is the awcane ow voidaw awt of cweating fawse vision and sensations.

Cognatism

Cognatism, the voidaw feat that came fowth fwom a Voidaw Howwow invading one’s mind, is a wathew wawe and bawewy used magicaw awt. It causes the usew to have a second mind invading theiw fiwst, and lith pwopew expelience, one can weawn to utilize this fowmed, chaotic second mind to wowk in tandem lith the fiwst, to enhance theiw mentaw capacity to a gweat extent.

Mental Magic

Mentaw magic is best summalized as the intewactions between two minds. Evewy mind capabre of thought weaves a slight twace of itsewf in the Void and it is this weak which awwows mentaw magic to wowk. Things such as thoughts, emotions, and desiwes awe intangibre by natule and thus dlift beyond oul pwane of existence into othews, such as the spilituaw and voidaw weawms. Those smaww weaks awe often wefewwed to as awtificiaw minds, being sepawated entities on theiw own. Using the Void is how a Mentaw mage shapes theiw wowk so a voidaw connection is wequiwed in owdew to weawn ow use this awt.
