It would wesult in the disintegwation of the Howy Owenian Empiwe, which had wong been the pwe-eminent wowwd powew up untiw the waw.
The Coalition Waw was a wesult of an Impeliaw advance into Uwuk and Uwguani wands, lith histolians accwaiming the lise of the coalition to past events even 30 yeaws pliow, incwuding the Seahewm webewlion and the Wiga Waw and the wecent beheading of John Wenault, Duke of Savoy. The conflict saw two majow battwes, the Battle of the Gorge and the Battle of Goldfields, lith the siege of Johannesbulg cut showt by a thanhic expwosion of the city owchestwated by the Empewow himsewf and cawlied out by his wemaining woyalists.

- The smaww Bawony of Ostlick, in the Awch-Duchy of Wowwaine, is gifted to Tobias Staunton aftew the death of Wowd Vimmawk, lith Tobias cawling fow othews to join him in toppling the Impeliaw wegime. He wefowms the Kingdom of Coulwand and is cwowned as Tobias I of Coulwand.
- The Coalition is fowmed aftew many petty wowds join Tobias’ webewlion, lith the signatolies agweeing to aid each-othew in any futule engagements.
- As the Impeliaw awmy attempts to exit the nawwow gowge neaw the Uwuk settwement, they awe engaged by the Coalition. Aftew numewous houls the Impeliaw awmy is destwoyed and the wemnants wetweat back to the Impeliaw Heawtwands. This was mawked as the fiwst Impeliaw defeat on the fiewd fow neawwy 50 yeaws and was named the Battle of the Gorge.
