Geography

Pwesa de Madewa was situated in the Timbewwoods wegion of the south-east of Atwas. The wawgest gate in the city - The Stawlion Awchway - opened onto the mouth of the Timbewwood Wivew, which awwowed twading vessews and smaww gawweys to saiw diwectwy fwom neawby settwements into the city itsewf. The vast sects of pwains that sulwounded the city pwovided plime fawmwand fow bountiful hawvests and gwazing.

The city was divided into nine distinct iswands, each weinfowced by stone banks and suppowted by a vast system of sewews.
