Biography

Early Life

Born in Stygian Hollow to the Baron Morbane Daesmon, also known under the alias Kale, the young Daesmon spent most of his childhood in the capital of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. He and his brother, Elliphas, spent most of their time back and forth between Urguan and the Free Trade State of Sutica in the southern part of the continent Almaris. Born as bastards and abandoned to raise themselves, they became well educated, and quite good at smithing due to their experiences with the Dwarven clans and culture. They became known for quality wares, though Elliphas would disappear around the pair's twentieth birthday.

Life as a Bandit

Upon his emergence from self-imposed exile on his twenty first birthday, he found himself drawn to the newly independent Duchy of Elysium, near Idol's Garden in the west of Almaris. He found himself associated rather quickly with a group of ruffians turned mercenaries known as The Rustlers under Elsiimah'Ceru and Elsil'Ceru. He trained with other Rustlers in order to get better with a sword, quickly becoming known in the coming years for his swordsmanship. His association with bandits through his life followed him, even as he gained infamy for being a womanizer and claimant to titles. During this time, he wed fellow Rustler, Brian der Ryder, who quickly dropped his name for the name of Brian Daesmon. The marriage was short lived, as when they were settling down in the Duchy of Elysium, who had contracted the Rustler mercenaries, Brian was killed in a skirmish, planting hate within Kosher. His association with bandits and mercenary groups continued throughout his life, being affiliated with groups such as the Rustlers, Ferrymen, Jindles, and more. This also led to the claiming of the title of Baron of Pinemaw, as his aunt Peralien betrayed the Grand Kingdom. He fought in the War of the Wigs as a mercenary fighter, and then Urguan Nobleman.

Troubles in Paradise

As he settled into a routine, his reputation as a womanizer came to bite him. His husband's death led to heavy drinking, combined with spiteful exes, it led to unfortunate situations arising. Kosher began to fall apart at the seams, even after his brother came out of exile and joined him the Rustlers. At this time, the Rustlers also fell apart and rebranded as House Ceru, with Kosher leading the house's guard. As time went on and forces mounted against him in Elysium, he became more erratic until a banishment was announced against Kosher Daesmon by Duke Eugeo de Astrea. Later, a policy was found regarding the fact that no skilled swordsman, mercenary former or current, or any considered "not Elysian" could be involved in any government affairs, leading to the further deterrioration of affairs between the newly reformed House Daesmon and the Duchy of Elysium. This feud continued for most of Kosher's life, with his exile bringing him to the Crown of Elvenesse.

Rise in Elvendom

After being exiled to Elvenesse, then called Elvendom shortly after, he was left with nothing. Broken relationships left Kosher lonely in a new land. He quickly contacted the Prince-Royarch, Evar'tir Oranor, about getting a position within the military and government. He ascended to an officer in the newly formed Glaiveguard, under Aeve Ithelanen. He was also appointed Lord Exarch, a title that gave him power in diplomatic affairs second only to Evar'tir himself. He became a mouth piece in day to day affairs within Elvendom, though he still asked for the permission of the Prince-Royarch. He met a mali'ame by the name of Mèlawen Taliame'onn, whom he had a shotgun wedding with. This was one of the first large scale events to be done throughout his tenure as Lord Exarch, which much of was organized by Melawen and her staff. As well at this time in his career, the Pact of Malin'or was signed, bringing together Elvendom, the Princedom of Fenn, Nor'asath, and the Principality of Celia'nor. Aster and Acanthus Daesmon were born during shortly after, leading to growing strength of House Daesmon. He soon became Prince Heir of Amaethea after bringing about the chain of events that led to the massacre of the mali'Imperi.

Time as Prince-Royarch

Kosher Daesmon's reign began with the abrupt departure of Prince-Royarch Evar'tir Oranor from the position. Though planned, the procedure of handing off the crown in a private manner led to a slight blindside towards Kosher. Kosher's reign displayed a decline in traditional Elvenessi/Amaethean events and procedure, due to multiple factors out of anyone's control. Foremost of that was that he was an outsider, a member of no established house or seed within the nation. This led to an inherent distrust of his rule, directly affecting the willingness of older mali within the nation to help guide him. Kosher as well suffered from burn out as many of his allies had abandoned his cause by the time his rule came to total fruition, including his brother and his wife, leading to a deep resentment from the Daesmon Patriarch towards those formerly close to him. His wife also took with her his young daughter, Clematis. After these events, he squabbled and butted heads with many of the leadership of the Federation of Malinor, leading to distaste for him to grow across the mali of all races and nations. He did increase the treasury of Amaethea, and created a small military force that was known for skill in combat, mainly due to his mercenary past. Overall, his place as a Prince was largely forgotten in history, as he did no significant changes to the nation overall other than solidifying its rebounding stance in the world. His reign was mostly marked by an increase in day to day activities within the streets and providing a foundation for his successor to build of off, leaving Kosher cast aside with no place in the history books.

Avliewynn

During the interim period between his Princeship and retirement, he helped found a tiny town called Avliewynn with a newly gained ally, Ver'alya Wynasul. Him and his reemerged brother, Elliphas, opened up Daesmon & Daesmon (Double D's) in the town. It was used as a fortification against enemies, as well as a store with armor and weapons. These events would unknowingly contribute to his later death.

Post Princeship

After abdicating in favor of one of his eldest sons, Acanthus Daesmon, Kosher went back on his path of being a mercenary. He signed agreements with multiple nations, including his former enemy of the Principality of Celia'nor. He never went against his host nation of Amaethea, though it still painted him in a highly negative public image. He continued this behavior for half of his retirement, reclaiming a fort off the northern coast of the Arm of Malin. After not hearing from his wife, and assuming her death, he met a mali'aheral by the name of Vullenia. He quickly took her as a lover, even marrying her in private with both their families in attendance. He had a son shortly after marrying her, taking them to Failor and later the city of Portoregne in the Kingdom of Balian, as Amaethea had all but cut ties with Kosher.

Death

His death would come at the hands of Ver'ayla's heir in Talar'nor (Formerly known as Celia'nor.) Ver'ayla had gone missing, with Kosher going into a schizophrenic breakdown after an encounter with a group of hostile necromancers. A chance encounter by a group of guards encountering Kosher after he killed a wolf with his bare hands led to the belief he had kidnapped the Princess. The guards seized Kosher by force when he was attending a court of Talar'nor, They pinned him down, breaking nearly every bone in his body as they dragged him off while the court continued. He was then beheaded in front of the new Princess, assuming he had killed the old one, ending the Prince without much issue.
