The Aheralic War, also called the Elven Coalition War, was a major-scale war between the Pact of Steel and Silver, which seeks to put Ivarielle I on the throne of Haelun'or, and the Silver State of Haelun'or. The War involves almost every Elven nation within Almaris with the only exception being the Vale of Nevaehlen, which preferred neutrality in the Elven-wide conflict.
Prelude
Several years before the official spark of the war, an Elfess by the name of Ivarielle laid claim to the Haelun'orian throne. The basis for her claim was her exceptional ability in combat, and preached that Haelun'or needed a strong-minded ruler to lead Haelun'or out of its isolationism and into the future. The Sohaer at the time, Braxus Ni'leya, decried Ivarielle as a lunatic and traitor to the High Elven people. Despite the denouncement by the Haelun'orian government, Ivarielle managed to successfully gain the support of the Kingdom of Norland, Kingdom of Haense, Grand Kingdom of Urguan, Holy Orenian Empire, Crown of Elvenesse, Principality of Fenn, Principality of Nor'asath, Silver Lubba Band, and a handful of others. However, only the Elven nations would back Ivarielle's claim militarily, for war between Oren, Haense, Norland, and Urguan would have made their cooperation on this conflict impossible (See: Urguani-Orenian War). Even so, diplomacy was attempted on multiple occasions between Ivarielle and Haelun'or, though none would lead to any meaningful progress. After years of preparation the Elven alliance made their pact official, thus signing the Pact of Steel and Silver [1]. Soon after, the Alliance officially declared war on the Silver State of Haelun'or with the Principality of Fenn leading the charge [2].

Timeline
- 62 S.A.
- The Pact of Steel and Silver is formed by the Dual Principalities of Fenn and Nor'asath, Silver Princedom, Crown of Elvenesse, and the Silver Lubba Mercenary Band. [3]
- Prior to the Declaration of War, the Pact of Steel and Silver storms the capital of Haelun'or and briefly occupies the City with no resistance. This event is known as the Storming of the Silver Citadel, and is considered the final spark that would kick off the entire war.
- The Pact of Steel and Silver issues a Declaration of War upon the Silver State of Haelun'or and prepares to march on the Haelun'orian capital of Karinah’siol. [4]
- 63 S.A.
- The Ebonwood Principatus joins the conflict on the side of the Pact of Steel and Silver in hopes of capturing the high elf Braxus Ni'leya, the former Sohaer of Haelun'or whom was accused of enslaving elves from other subraces.
- 64 S.A.
- The Pact of Steel and Silver assaults the Haelun'orian capital of Karinah'siol, sparking the Sacking of Karinah'siol. The Battle is a decisive victory for the Pact of Steel and Silver, for there is only limited resistance on the part of Haelun'or.
- 68 S.A.
- After a few years of quietness and internal changes within Haelun'or, the new Sohaer invites Princess Ivarielle to sit within the Silver Council, effectively ending the Aheralic War in an Elven Alliance victory.
