Josephine Novellen, Princess Imperial and 2nd Duchess of Crestfall (3rd of Owyn’s Flame, 1787 - 19th of Tobias' Bounty, 1849) was a minister of the Imperial Cabinet as the former Director of Civil Affairs turned first female Archchancellor of the Holy Orenian Empire. She was born an Imperial Princess, born into the 3rd generation of the incumbent Novellen dynasty as the second child and first daughter of Philip II, Holy Orenian Emperor and his wife, Judith Alice of Rochefort, before his investiture as heir apparent to the Empire. She was thus born without the pageantry or liability that would have been afforded the emperor's firstborn daughter, although in the year 1837, after the death of her Uncle John VIII, the mature Princess succeeded the title of Princess Imperial, and was rewarded with the Duchy of Crestfall (her father's previous tenure) in her own right.
