History

Birth

Little is known about Bogdun's birth. All that is known is that at a very young age he gained a lifelong love for the bow and arrow, and practiced every day. He used this skill to feed himself, defend himself and entertain himself. It was around the time that he began using this skill to make some coin that he decided that he was a Goldhand. He traveled the world far and wide and made many acquaintances, all of whom enjoyed his ability with the bow and arrow. Wherever he went; he was unmatched.

Adulthood

One day whilst travelling he stumbled upon the settlement of Jornheim, capital of the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah during Axios. While he periodically kept in touch with his Goldhand kin, he was unaware of where they were for the past fifty years, and was pleasantly surprised when he discovered they had helped found this new Dwarven Kingdom and resided within it's Capital. After much thought and convincing by the Goldhands, Bogdun decided he would end his nomadic ways and settle down with the dwarves of Kaz'Ulrah. He was quickly noticed by the High King at the time, Verthaik II Frostbeard and became close friends with him. Acknowledging his ability with the bow, High King Verthaik II Frostbeard rewarded him by making him one of his personal guards, the other being Darain Blackaxe.

When the various races of Axios left the land and journeyed to Atlas, Bogdun was among the first to land on the new territory. He assisted in establishing Kaz'Ulrah's capital in Atlas, the city of Kal'Tarak. His main contribution was the front gate, which was designed to be one of the best defended gates in the entire land, and featured a multitude of new features never before seen in any sort of city defense building. Many military experts believed that the design drew heavily upon the Horde of Dunamis' legendary keep in Vailor.

High King

After the assassination of High King Verthaik II Frostbeard, it was revealed that in his final wish he desired for Kaz'Ulrah's next High King to be elected democratically as he had not produced an heir of age. After a short and mostly uncontested election, Bogdun was made the first democratically elected High King of Kaz'Ulrah. His main focus was to bring all Dwarves together into Kaz'Ulrah and recreate the ambient of early Dwarven Kingdoms. His attempts were met with ignorance on the Irongrinder side, and by disdain from the Frostbeard side who believed that the Irongrinders should forever be outcasts from Dwarven society due their crimes under the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Seeing that there would be no chance in bringing the few honest Irongrinders back under the Dwarven Kingdom, Bogdun decided to resign from High King becoming the first High King to only reign for a year.
