Prince Philip, Duke of Adria was slain by a pro-Aster radical, revived by Cloud Temple Monks, and then died from a heart attack afterwards. Philip Amadeus crowned as Philip III, Holy Orenian Emperor

The Aster Revolution of 1849 was a month-long rebellion in the Empire against the rule of Philip II, Holy Orenian Emperor by his grandson, Philip Amadeus with the assistance of Olivier I, Prince of Savoy. The Revolution gained much-needed traction from several of the major Orenian Houses which led to the eventual, disposal of Philip II and the rise of Philip III.

  • News circulates of the death of Philip Aurelian, the cause of his death is disputed.

• 10th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • During a session of Savoyard Court, Philip Amadeus declares himself Holy Orenian Emperor.
  • The Houses of d’Azor, Basrid, Pruvia, Carrington & de Sarkozy swear fealty to Philip Amadeus.

• 11th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • Philip Amadeus published “The Mandate of Heaven”, in which he petitions Philip II to surrender the Orenian throne.

• 15th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • Otis Maximilian, Baron of de Rosius, and his consort travel to San Luciano and swear their loyalty to Philip Amadeus.
  • Philip II disappeared from New Providence, he is presumed dead.
  • After receiving word of the disappearance of Philip II, Philip Amadeus and Olivier de Savoie march their respective armies from San Luciano to New Providence.

• 16th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • The Imperial Archchancellor and Princess Imperial, Josephine Augusta dies in a carriage accident while leaving New Providence.
  • The Revolutionary Army along with the Blackwald Company mercenaries, totaling approximately 10,000 soldiers, reach New Providence.

• 17th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • Sir Erik Othaman along with the remaining Imperial Loyalists, totaling approximately 1,500 soldiers, surrender New Providence to Philip Amadeus.
  • After the surrender of the city, many Imperial Loyalists flee to Fort Linnord where they establish a military junta.

• 18th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • Philip Amadeus along with his retinue smash into the imperial palace and take the throne.

• 19th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • The Crown of Elvenesse recognizes Philip Amadeus as the rightful Holy Orenian Emperor.
  • Philip Amadeus is crowned Holy Orenian Emperor in the Basilica of the Argentine Star by High Pontiff Edvard VI.

• 20th of Tobias’s Bounty
  • The Houses of d’Arkent, O’Rourke & Vuiller swear fealty to Philip Amadeus.
