The Aster Revolution of 1849 was a month-long rebellion in the Empire against the rule of Philip II, Holy Orenian Emperor by his grandson, Philip Amadeus with the assistance of Olivier I, Prince of Savoy. The Revolution gained much-needed traction from several of the major Orenian Houses which led to the eventual, disposal of Philip II and the rise of Philip III.
