The Almaris Coalition War, also called the War of the Silver Isles was an international conflict between the Eastern Almaris Treaty Organization against The United Sovereign States of Almaris. The Conflict began when Orcs, after an apparent honor duel within Krugmar between an Orc and members of Clan Ireheart escalated, resulting in a Dwarf’s death outside of the duel’s agreement. After demands from the Grand Kingdom of Urguan to the Orcs were failed to be met, the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and the Kingdom of Urguan declared their claim for the island of Haelun’or after the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska’s talks with Krugmar to buy the island had fallen through. The Horde, now in a war upon two fronts in the Malinor war and now this one, sought to find peace for themselves by selling the island of Haelun’or to the Kingdom of Oren whilst creating a peace with Malin'or, settling such in the Peace of Vienne[3]. Urguan and Haense, now at war with the Orcs and Oren by still stating their claim to the island, entered into the war against both parties. Ultimately, the joint Urguani-Haenseni conquest proved successful with the Haenseni soon occupying the island after the collapse of the U.S.S.A.
Prelude
During the early hours of The Amber Cold, 82 S.A. A Drawf went to the capital of the Horde, Krugmar, and, challenged an Olog to an Honor Duel. However, he was defeated and killed. Within this escapade, dwarves that accompanied the dwarf were also killed. Word of this quickly spread. The Dwarves of Urguan, upset at these deaths, clamoured about further rumour that the Orcs had raided their capital. In response, the Dwarves, their vassals, and members of Malin’or, marched upon Krugmar’s capital. Upon the arrival of the host, the Grand King of Urguan and the Prince Royarch of Elvenesse were met by Targoth of the Horde, Zahgorim, and theand, the Dominus of The Horde Ixula'Akaal. An agreement was initially struck, in which the Horde would pay 11,000 Mina, the removal of the Azdrazi from their lands, and the surrender of the Orcs that killed the Dwarves. These Orcs were subsequently executed, however, the Orcs were unable to pay the mina demands, leading to the King of Urguan to declare war. At a similar time, the King of Hanseti-Ruska and the Rex of Krugmar had been in secret meetings in order to sell the island of Haelun’or. The Rex however ultimately declined the offer from the king to buy the island for ten thousand mina, leaving the King of Hanseti-Ruska disgruntled.
During these events, the High Princedom of Malin'or and The Horde was in peace talks to end, the Malin'or Horde War with The Kingdom of Oren acting as mediators, during the events one of the things that were agreed upon was that The Kingdom of Oren would buy the Silver Isles off of The Horde for 10,000 mina however shortly after this urguan would release its intentions to conquer the Silver Isles.
