Early Life
Prince Frederick was born in Louisville, the Royal Capital of the Principality of Sedan at the time. Since he was the first and only son at the time, he was named as the first Hereditary Prince of Sedan and was baptized in a small ceremony within the town. He was born to his Father's second marriage due to Leopold's first wife falling ill before she could provide Leopold with a male Heir. Growing up the boy grew to love his family and fellow Sedanites above all else. He cherished every moment that he could spend with them. Whenever he could, he would try to do something with them, whether it be exploring the continent, playing games, or just partaking in conversation. Whatever be the activity, he always had a blast. During his youth, he would spend a lot of time getting into all sorts of shenanigan's with his sister, Princess Sofya. This bond that they built continued to cement his care for his family at a very young age. Although he was young, the boy also had a great thirst for knowledge and looked up to his Father greatly. Whenever the opportunity presented itself, he would try to shadow his Father and try to pick up as much as he could for he wished to be a great Sovereign like his Father one day. Despite being young, he'd show up to important meetings and would watch as conversations unfolded. As he got slightly older, although still a child, he would try to participate to a certain extent in state affairs.

Reign
Frederick Stanimar de Joannes, regally known as Frederick I, Prince of Sedan, is the current Sovereign Prince of Sedan and the fourth since its formation. He is the eldest son of Leopold de Joannes and succeeded him as Prince upon his death at the hands of Emperor Philip III. He inherited the Principality in a state of panic due to his Father's untimely demise, and many feared that the Holy Orenian Empire would attempt to besiege and sack the city of Haverlock as revenge for the Siege of Southbridge. Although things seemed grim for the Sovereign, he never lost sight of what was most important to himself, his family and his people. Although times seemed tough for him and his people, he was not deterred from his obligations as their leader nor did he plan to abandon his role. He would start off with his first edict in 1857, with his people in mind when writing it. With this, he would temporarily suspend all taxation within the Royal Capital of Haverlock and the Principality altogether. The young Prince hoped that this would help his citizens during this time, allowing them to use their coin on food, armor, weapons, and other necessary things they required instead of filling the Royal Coffers.
