The Royal Capital of Haverlock, also known simply as Haverlock, is the former capital city of the Principality of Sedan and serves as the seat of House de Joannes. Founded under the reign of Leopold I, Haverlock was founded to replace the old and much smaller royal capital of Louisville. The City is populated by a Highlander/Heartlander majority, with a rather small population of every other race. The name of Haverlock comes from back during the Sedan Rebellion, and was chosen by Prince Leopold to honor a Sedanian soldier by the name of Haverlock who contributed greatly to the Sedanian cause. Eventually, Haverlock was conquered and sacked by the Holy Orenian Empire after the Siege of Haverlock.

Haverlock sits just north of the ruined fort of Southbridge, and sits just along the main highway leading into the Holy Orenian Empire. Because of its geographical location, Haverlock often has many new visitors and merchants flood into the city.
