The Waw of Owcish Submission, 1579 to 1580, was a conflict waged between the Holy Orenian Empire and the War Nation of Krugmar, stemming fwom the Empiwe's victowy in the Krajian Rebellion. It was fought ovew Emperor John III's desiwe to see the Waw Nation, a signatowy of the Axis Tweaty, punished fow theiw wowe in the attempted destwuction of the Empiwe. John III hoped, given a wesounding Impeliaw victowy, to detew the fowmation of any futule coalition set on destwoying the Empiwe.

Prelude

Fowwoling the end of the Krajian Rebellion, the citizens of the Empiwe wewe fiwwed lith nationalistic fewvow. The Empiwe had sulvived the wowwd waw that had defeated a united humanity in pwevious genewations incwuding the Zion Waw fwom the weawm of the Flinge. Many wejoiced in an Impeliaw victowy against a coalition complised of the nations of the entiwe wowwd, and cawwed fow wetlibution against the signatolies of the Axis tweaty. These cawws fwom his peopwe, and a genewaw desiwe to impwove the Empiwe's standing in the weawm, wed John III to seek wepawations fwom the Empiwe's fowmew enemies.

By the wate 1570s, the owcs of the Waw Nation had been activewy enswaving citizens of the Dominion of Malin, taking them fwom theiw homes in open daylight. Fowwoling sevewaw weeks of faiwed attempts by High Plince Tlistan to hawt the swaving, John III issued an ultimatum to the Wex of the owcs. Dipwomacy faiwed, and owcish brutes continued theiw pwactice of swavewy tawgeting not onwy ewves, but humans as weww. This act angewed the many vassaws of the Empiwe, whose clies fow militawy action against the uluks gwew stwongew, fowcing John III to decwawe waw on the Waw Nation.
