Vivienne Anastasie (High Imperial: Viviana Anastasia), born a Hereditary Princess of Savoy as the daughter to Olivier II, Prince of Savoy and Catherine of Sutica, ascended to the status of 'Queen of the Orenians' upon her marriage to Frederick I at the age of twenty one. Described as shrewd and the ultimate love of her husband's life, The Queen of Oren is regarded by historians to have been an instrumental strategist in the Brothers' War - the highly publicized civil war of the 19th century whose Royalist triumph resulted in Frederick's assumption of the throne. Queen Vivienne was murdered by a sword to the throat during the Acre Rebellion whilst shielding her daughter, Maude Fredericka.

Childhood and Early Life

'Her Highness The Princess Vivienne of Savoy as painted in her ballet gown beside her beloved dog in the year 1854'

Vivienne Anastasie Ashford de Savoie was born a savoyard princess under the reign of her esteemed father Olivier II, Prince of Savoy. She was birthed and deemed a twin alongside Renata Adelina de Savoie on the 14th of the Grand Harvest, 1847. The caliginous haired woman donned an astuteness for ballet at the juvenile age of five, spending most of her precious time practicing the likes of pirouettes. As a result, the princess maintained an alarmingly hollow-cheeked visage and steady poise. Catherine of Sutica ventured the child in a prolonged itinerary of differentiating subjects, becoming astute in politics and writing - finding comfort in the summit of a quill rather than the speaking of words. Vivienne Anastasie was practically mute as a youth - barely uttering sentences within her essence, instead hovering over dining tables and attentively organizing anything her slate orbs could lay their eyes on. The formalist became obsessed with the idea of perfection in all that she did, not quitting until her task was finished with the utmost lack of error, as she could not settle for error. Being of younger stock, more mistakes were evident within her countenance, leading to the princess unsteadily sabotaging herself. Consequently, she was branded as lacking compassion or tone-deaf by Vivienne’s beloved siblings.

As Vivienne approached the grand age of ten, the Principality of Savoy fell into robust chaos. Olivier Laurène declared the ‘Winter Regency’ in which he itched to depart upon a pilgrimage, hence her father established a regency council in his absence. After having extended exposure to Canonist Monks during his pilgrimage, he became extremely discontent with ruling over Savoy and abdicated in favor of Lucien. This deeply jolted the princess, destroying (in her mind) the perfection that once was a peaceful reign and disrupting the natural order. Such events left her younger brother Lucien Aurele as Prince, Catherine of Sutica acting as the regent until he was old enough to rule. In deep distress and isolation - her father not returning and mother overwhelmed acting as the regent, Vivienne Anastasie began exchanging letters with that of Anastasia I, Holy Orenian Empress. Anastasia was bewildered and simply astonished at the youth’s skills with a quill, Vivienne coveting for information on the foreign nation that was deemed so powerful. The child kept it a secret from her beloved family, the tensions rising between Oren and Savoy at such a moment in history, Savoy refusing to unite with Oren in the Urguani-Orenian war. Their conversations consisted of the ranks and order of court hierarchy, Anastasia explaining in detail a woman’s role and ideologies. The de Savoie became fascinated with the idea, taking frequent visits to highly regarded - yet scandalous in her own respect - grandmother Adeline of Rochefort who acted as a high up member in the Aster Court council. Her grandmother had since been quietly involved within a mercenary coup against her own father, unbeknownst to the savoyard youth.

The Regency council that Vivienne’s mother, Princess Catherine of Sutica had established was widely unpopular by a majority of the native Savoyard population. The juvenile girl’s mother became the embodiment of a wearied shell, attempting to sway the likes of her people to no avail. The remnant Myrinian population was especially against the Regency, and called for Catherine’s abdication as acting regent and for her brother’s personal rule to begin. This all availed during an important court within the throne room, Vivienne and her siblings upon the dais with Catherine of Sutica. Despite her ethical attempts to sway the crowd's alignment, Princess Catherine became distraught due to the lack of support and allowed a Qualasheen from the de Bar county to enter within the courtroom to eventually take her life. He donned a weapon of cowardice, striking down Catherine in meticulous manner. A gruesome sight, the head of the once renowned woman skewered and severed - her own blood spattering upon the cheek of Vivienne. This gruesome event left the youth in a profound state of traumatized shock, reverting back to a countenance of mute words. She could not utter anything of note towards her siblings ; her guiding angel Catherine of Sutica was no more. Lucien was crowned by a cardinal of the Canonist Church and his personal reign began, moving more pressure onto the mourning family.
