Prelude

The Second Battle of the Rothswood was the first and final major battle between House of Ruthern and their allies against the Kingdom of Courland and their allies during the Rebellion. The battle was located around the manor of House Tosali, and lasted overnight with a decisive victory for the Rebellion and their allies, thus leading to 'The Great Reconciliation Act, 1612' which led to the reformation of the Kingdom of Haense, and the Holy Orenian Empire.

Battle

As the Lotharingian cavalry mounted their horses, and the infantry equipped themselves with their pikes and other weapons, Harren had decided to make a shield wall facing the Tosali manor which the Courlandic forces held. The cavalry, under the command of Hughes I of Lotharingia was to antagonize the Courlandic forces, and engage any enemy cavalry or infantry they encountered while trying to guide the Courlanders out of the manor.

As the sun slowly begins to shine, the Courlanders charged towards the calvary left of where the infantry was facing and led by Harren of Mettereden led the infantry surprising the Courlanders and assisting the cavalry in their engagement. The snow would begin to shine with blood, and fire as alchemist fire began to spread around the houses of the manor. One of the commanders decided to pull back inside the manor making a final stand against the might of the Rebellion as many of the Courlandic forces had fled.

Aftermath

The Ruthern victory in the Rothswood avenged the Coalition War and proved that Courlanders can be defeated, and became a stalemate for a month until 'The Great Reconciliation Act, 1612' allowing Kingdom of Haense to be restablished in their former territories within the Greyspine mountains and Stephen I of Haense was elected king by the National Duma.
