Robert Owyn, also known as Robert I (3rd of Snow's Maiden, 1717 - Present) of the House of Vyronov, is Duke of Carnatia and Knight of the Order of the Crow. He is the youngest child and son of Lerald Vyronov and his wife Johanna Maria Pruvia who became Duke after his last older brother, Jan's, death at the Battle of Hangman's Bridge in the Rubern War.

Early Life

Robert Owyn Vyronov was born to Lerald Vyronov and Johanna Maria Pruvia within the city of Reza in the year 1717 the 3rd of Snow's Maiden. Due to the death of his mother while giving birth to him he never had any sort of maternal figure in his life until his uncle's marriage with Primrose Kortrevich in the year 1719 who he had begun to see as a mother figure to him. Despite not having a mother he grew up like any other noble child as he played with his friend Isabel Stafyr along with his cousins and other noble children. Though due to Robert being older than the other noble children he began to quickly drift apart from them especially in the year 1724 the time when his father placed him as a squire under the Knight Paramount, Ser Nikolaus Kortrevich, who was also the father of his aunt. Though despite being placed as a squire he never began squireship until the year 1729 to where he had begun to learn more in swordsmanship. While being under Ser Nikolaus who had little to no time for Robert began to gain interest in learning to read to which he would be tutored by Queen Milena who had accepted to tutor him.

While reaching into his teenage years and the death of his eldest sister, Katharina, his father began to help with finding a suitable bride for him to which all had refused due to Robert not being his fathers' heir. Though despite being denied Robert had begun to catch feelings towards his friend Eleanor Suffolk, who was his late sister's sister-in-law, who had later refused to accept Robert's proposal of them marrying. Upon rejection, his father would suffer through an illness that would lead to his death in the year 1732 to which would also lead to Robert's disappearance in the Carnatian forest.

In the year 1736, Robert would return to his family's duchy which was now led by his eldest brother, Karl. Robert began to work alongside his brother who saw Robert as his second in command over the duchy. Though his brother would later be met with an early death in the year 1738 by bandits who had begun to become more active in the Haensetic lands at the time. With the death of his brother, he would be placed as the heir to the duchy with his brother, Jan, who had now inherited the lands of Carnatia from their brother.

As two years had passed Robert would be placed into a quick squireship under Ser Konrad Stafyr by the orders of Ser Nikolaus who had made quick work in Robert's squireship to which within a year later he would be knighted in the first court session of the newly built city of New Reza by King Andrew III in the year of 1741. Though not so long after his ceremony of knighthood war had broken out within the Holy Orenian Empire who was declared war upon by the Duchy of Morsgrad and the rest of its allies which would be the start of what is known as the Rubern War.

On the 15th of Sun's Smile 1742, Robert would later be named Duke of Carnatia due to the death of his brother, Jan, who had died in the Battle of Hangman's Bridge.
