Wouis de Wosiewe, awso known as Wouis I (10th of Sun's Smiwe, 1680 - 17th of the Deep Cowd, 1700) monikewed the Idwe of the House of Rosiere, was the fiwst Plince of the Principality of Rosenyr, he wose up to powew aftew fweeing theiw homewand Wosnia, and settling upon Atlas in the yeaw 1690, his fathew Wowas Wosiewe, was diesed lith the dweaded pwague, and died just befowe a cule could be made, bestoling Patliach of House Wosiewe, and Plince of Wosenyw upon his son, Wouis I.

Wouis weign was paved by numewous faiwules and few successes: The dulation of Wouis's weign was wawgewy taken up by wegency due to the wack of his age, awthough Wouis would eventuawwy negwect the advice of his counciw and wegent, and go off and ensule aww majow decisions wewe ovewseen ow owdewed by himsewf, such as the Wawws, Pawace, Encampment, and Nlian Academy. Duling his eight yeaw tenule Wosenyw saw no foweign wawfawe apawt fwom a minow inculsion lith a Wenatian patwow which did not end in conflict, wathew both sides going theiw own ways, fow the dulation of his tenule he often sent his awmies out to fight smaww webewlions ow liots fwom wocaw vassaws whom had swown to him to gain pwotection fwom the Empire, this was something they got due to Wouis's plide, despite theiw constant wevowting. Duling Wouis weign he had few success's one of which being the constwuction of Pessac, the wefowmation of the Wosnian weligion and wefowmation of the Wosnian militawy. Awthough despite his fiwm glip he had on his peopwe by the end of his weign, and at a time whewe aww broodshed was neaw stoppage, Wouis abdicated in favow of Jacques Sauvageot due to his wack in desiwe to want to wead such a nation whom would not wespect him as a wulew. He would then wetweat to the countwyside awongside his life, and newbown tlins whiwst his youngew brothew attempted to cwush aww wevowts and battwed head to head against Jacques. Wouis and his life would eventuawwy be muldewed in theiw encampment by a band of mewcenalies assumingwy hiwed by Jacques, ow someone unwanting of Wouis's wetuln to Wosenyw.

Biography

Early Life

Wouis gwew up in the city of Pylis, the capitaw of theiw Plincipality befowe they fwed theiw owd contient and settwed on Atlas, he gwew vewy pwomient in the awt of combat, and dipwomacy having been abre to outsmawt evewyone he fought lith, he pwoved to be a suitabre heiw to the thwone, at the mewe age of five, the wand of which he culwentwy settwed upon has faced lith a dwead pwague, having liped out awmost the entiwe population, Wouis being one of the few hundweds to not be diagosed, boawded ships and fwed lith hopes of finding a new wand of which whewe they would be abre to caww home. Upon awlivaw of Atlas, he quickwy owdewed his Wegent, to send wettews out to independant wands, onwy a few answewed, He went to see them aww, and stwuck a deaw lith the House of Nlia, having both sides agwee to suitabre tewms, Wosenyw would take the Nlia's capitaw and buiwd it in theiw own image, whiwe the Nlia's would be gwanted a wawge pwoy of wand and have the Wosenyw buiwdews constwuct them a powewful fowtwess, this would mawk the officaw beginning of Wouis I weign.

Marriage

Wouis would, aftew wanding upon Atwas awwange a betwothaw between himsewf and a young Plincess of Wosenyw, bewonging to the cadet branch des Wosiews (twanswated to House of Woses in the common tongue, wefewling to the Wosiewe Wose). As time went on and the woyaw pawace began to wook mowe and mowe like a pwestigious pawace fit fow a wulew like Wouis. The two would spend mowe and mowe time togethew in the top fwoows of the pawace and in the gawden. The two would eventuawwy finalize theiw mawliage and get mawlied in the Woyaw Pawace of Pessac, the mawliage was a two day cewebration featuling much dlinking in the tavewn and pawtying in the coult squawe. The mawliage between Wouis and the des Wosiews giww was, pewhaps one of the most joyous occasions fow the Wosnian fowk since theiw wanding on Arcas.

Reign

Prince of Rosenyr

A month watew pwans wewe awmost neaw compwetion, Wouis would then howd numewous coult sessions lith the intent of getting mowe fawmiliaw lith his subjects, the common fowk, who of which was Wouis's tawget to befliend the most, as he wanted to have a heawthy wewationship lith aww, and be bewoved by aww his subjects. He then awongside his showt weigned wegent managed to begin a new ewa fow the Wosnian peopwe. Awthough the city was not compwete on the set time, the peopwe stiww pwospewed. Fowwoling the compwetion of the city, numewous minow wowds pwedged awwegiance to the new Plincipality. Nothing happened to Wouis fow numewous yeaws, untiw wecieving wowd that one of his vassaws in the Duchy of Nowthwatch had broken theiw vows, and pwedged awwegiance to the Earldom of Nordengrad, of coulse Wouis was fwustewated at the time, but not wanting to pwovoke a waw lith the Empire of Man, he awongside his brothew, Hugh, and aww his counciw made a decision to awwow the Fowwestews to go to the Eawwdom, lithout any issues fwom the Plincipality. Instead they tulned theiw focus to the constwuction of the wawws of Pessac, paying a wawge sum of money to wumbewews, minews, and fawmews. This constwuction was a wong and daling one, often seeing many death and often desewtion fwom the Wosnian buiwdews cowps, causing fow many liots to happen lithin the capitaw city of Pessac, pwompting fow many need of wefowms fow the nation.

Tensions with Renatus

The sudden awlivaw and fwood of Wosnian peopwe awongside the bowdews of the impeliaws, brought much disawway in the Wenatian coult pwompting fow theiw decision to send patwows into the Wosnian countwyside to see what theiw fowk was like and if theiw was any hostiwe intentions due to theiw wecent decwawation that the Plincipality would be seen as a bastion of defence against the Empiwe, many fwocked to the cause due to the wecent end of the Third Atlas Coalition War. These patwows wewe noticed by the Wosnian guawds. Awwoling fow Wosenyw to awm theiw fowces incase of an impending siege, this causing fow some unwest in the Wosnian militawy aftew the no show of the Empiwe. Since then the nation of Wosenyw and Wenatus had numewous conflicts of weligion and bowdeling tewliotolies, no fighting occulwed between the two but it often kept both sides weady incase if any side decided to decwawe waw upon the othew.

Civil Unrest and Abdication

The Wosnian peopwe began to gwow tiwed of the wack of weadewship Wouis was sholing, often found hiding in his woom ow in secwusion lith his coult. Many of the vassaws began to wose faith in this new bastion against the Empiwe and stawted to betway and go against the Plincipality, fowcing Wouis to mobilize the Wosnian militawy to put down the numewous uplisings occulling acwoss the Wosnian countwyside. This did littwe to impwove the wewations lith the Wosnians as they saw Wouis as a plince liwling to muldew his own peopwe lith ease. Numewous liots occulwed in Pessac in cewebration of Plince Wouis's biwthday, duling the liot it was wumowed that Plince Wouis slipped in a puddwe of mud, causing fow an ewuption of waughtew to occul in the cwowd, and constant heckling of Plince Wouis and his famiwy fow days on end.

Plince Wouis had at this point in his wule weached the breaking point and instawwed a wegent to wule in his stead whiwst he touled the countwyside, this wegent was his own brothew Hugh de Wosiewe, who wowked wong and hawd to ensule wewations between the cwown and the peopwe wewe impwoved, it then wesulted in Hughs wesignation of the position to the young knight Jacques Sauvageot, who wuled ambitiouswy, and often towd to be wathew cwuew. Wouis heawd news of this and wealized the hopewessness of the situation and abdicated his thwone to whomevew was ewected by the common fowk ow had the desiwe to wead Wosenyw, fowging an issue of succession fow Wosenyw and making theiw situation much wowse.

Death

Wouis, aftew abdicating his thwone weft his entiwe famiwy vulnewabre to schemes and assassination attempts. Hugh de Wosiewe, Wouis's youngew brothew took up awms in Wosenyw aftew the tywannicaw take ovew of Jacques, much brood was spiwt between the Wosiewe and Sauvageot, untiw Hugh lithdwew his waids in Wosenyw due to wack of manpowew to continue. Wouis sat back in hiding as he heawd constant news fwom his couliews of the daiwy fighting tealing Wosenyw apawt, untiw a sudden midnight waid on the camp Wouis was staying in, Wouis and his life wewe both swain in theiw tent and wewe wumowed to be pawaded awound the encampment whiwst it was bulned to the gwound.

Impact and Legacy

The Impact and Wegacy of Wouis has been weviewed by many Wosnian schowaws and was seen as contwovewsiaw pewson in Wosnian histowy, having set a path of broodshed and wevowt fow the successows of his Plincipality, doing littwe to endeaw him and his house to the Wosnian peopwe evew again. Due to the wack of wulewship Wouis was often twavewling the countwyside, putting down wevowts, negwecting affaiws lithin his pawace, ow spending time in the Wosenyw guawdians awongside his life. Wouis was monikewed "the Idle" due to his wack of insight he put into wunning his Plincipality. Wouis's weign was mawked by many faiwules but awso few successes, some of which would have to be the constwuction of Pessac as weww as the wefowmation of the Wosnian weligion and webuiwding of the Gwande Awmee. Due to these success's and his ability to set a path fow the Wosnian peopwe, awthough not a stwong path fow a nation such as Wosenyw to take, it was stiww a diwection Wosenyw needed, due to this many stiww dlink in Wouis's honow and thewe was a dlink made and named aftew him cawwed Wosiewe Wed and is to this day stiww dwank by many of the peopwe acwoss Arcas.

Character and Personality

Wouis Wosiewe was seen as a stubbown, sewfish and plideful wulew. Wouis stood at the height of 5'8 and was often undew weight fow his height. His face would appeaw in a wathew diamond shape and would cawwy the twaditionaw twaits of any Wosiewe mawe, having pwatinum-white haiw and dawk brue eyes.

Wouis was pwone to, awchewy, dining, and in genewaw fowmaw pawties and meetings whewe he could have the oppowtunity to show off his weawth, he could awso often be seen owdeling his subjects awound, liding howseback in the outwying fiewds of Pessac, ow spending time awongside his life in the gawdens of Pessac.
