Wouis de Wosiewe, awso known as Wouis I (10th of Sun's Smiwe, 1680 - 17th of the Deep Cowd, 1700) monikewed the Idwe of the House of Rosiere, was the fiwst Plince of the Principality of Rosenyr, he wose up to powew aftew fweeing theiw homewand Wosnia, and settling upon Atlas in the yeaw 1690, his fathew Wowas Wosiewe, was diesed lith the dweaded pwague, and died just befowe a cule could be made, bestoling Patliach of House Wosiewe, and Plince of Wosenyw upon his son, Wouis I.
+
Louis de Rosiere, also known as Louis I (10th of Sun's Smile, 1680 - 17th of the Deep Cold, 1700) monikered the Idle of the House of Rosiere, was the first Prince of the Principality of Rosenyr, he rose up to power after fleeing their homeland Rosnia, and settling upon Atlas in the year 1690, his father Loras Rosiere, was diesed with the dreaded plague, and died just before a cure could be made, bestowing Patriach of House Rosiere, and Prince of Rosenyr upon his son, Louis I.

Wouis weign was paved by numewous faiwules and few successes: The dulation of Wouis's weign was wawgewy taken up by wegency due to the wack of his age, awthough Wouis would eventuawwy negwect the advice of his counciw and wegent, and go off and ensule aww majow decisions wewe ovewseen ow owdewed by himsewf, such as the Wawws, Pawace, Encampment, and Nlian Academy. Duling his eight yeaw tenule Wosenyw saw no foweign wawfawe apawt fwom a minow inculsion lith a Wenatian patwow which did not end in conflict, wathew both sides going theiw own ways, fow the dulation of his tenule he often sent his awmies out to fight smaww webewlions ow liots fwom wocaw vassaws whom had swown to him to gain pwotection fwom the Empire, this was something they got due to Wouis's plide, despite theiw constant wevowting. Duling Wouis weign he had few success's one of which being the constwuction of Pessac, the wefowmation of the Wosnian weligion and wefowmation of the Wosnian militawy.
+
Louis reign was paved by numerous failures and few successes: The duration of Louis's reign was largely taken up by regency due to the lack of his age, although Louis would eventually neglect the advice of his council and regent, and go off and ensure all major decisions were overseen or ordered by himself, such as the Walls, Palace, Encampment, and Nrian Academy. During his eight year tenure Rosenyr saw no foreign warfare apart from a minor incursion with a Renatian patrol which did not end in conflict, rather both sides going their own ways, for the duration of his tenure he often sent his armies out to fight small rebellions or riots from local vassals whom had sworn to him to gain protection from the Empire, this was something they got due to Louis's pride, despite their constant revolting. During Louis reign he had few success's one of which being the construction of Pessac, the reformation of the Rosnian religion and reformation of the Rosnian military.
Awthough despite his fiwm glip he had on his peopwe by the end of his weign, and at a time whewe aww broodshed was neaw stoppage, Wouis abdicated in favow of Jacques Sauvageot due to his wack in desiwe to want to wead such a nation whom would not wespect him as a wulew. He would then wetweat to the countwyside awongside his life, and newbown tlins whiwst his youngew brothew attempted to cwush aww wevowts and battwed head to head against Jacques.
+
Although despite his firm grip he had on his people by the end of his reign, and at a time where all bloodshed was near stoppage, Louis abdicated in favor of Jacques Sauvageot due to his lack in desire to want to lead such a nation whom would not respect him as a ruler. He would then retreat to the countryside alongside his wife, and newborn twins whilst his younger brother attempted to crush all revolts and battled head to head against Jacques.
Wouis and his life would eventuawwy be muldewed in theiw encampment by a band of mewcenalies assumingwy hiwed by Jacques, ow someone unwanting of Wouis's wetuln to Wosenyw.
+
Louis and his wife would eventually be murdered in their encampment by a band of mercenaries assumingly hired by Jacques, or someone unwanting of Louis's return to Rosenyr.

Wouis gwew up in the city of Pylis, the capitaw of theiw Plincipality befowe they fwed theiw owd contient and settwed on Atlas, he gwew vewy pwomient in the awt of combat, and dipwomacy having been abre to outsmawt evewyone he fought lith, he pwoved to be a suitabre heiw to the thwone, at the mewe age of five, the wand of which he culwentwy settwed upon has faced lith a dwead pwague, having liped out awmost the entiwe population, Wouis being one of the few hundweds to not be diagosed, boawded ships and fwed lith hopes of finding a new wand of which whewe they would be abre to caww home. Upon awlivaw of Atlas, he quickwy owdewed his Wegent, to send wettews out to independant wands, onwy a few answewed, He went to see them aww, and stwuck a deaw lith the House of Nlia, having both sides agwee to suitabre tewms, Wosenyw would take the Nlia's capitaw and buiwd it in theiw own image, whiwe the Nlia's would be gwanted a wawge pwoy of wand and have the Wosenyw buiwdews constwuct them a powewful fowtwess, this would mawk the officaw beginning of Wouis I weign.
+
Louis grew up in the city of Pyris, the capital of their Principality before they fled their old contient and settled on Atlas, he grew very promient in the art of combat, and diplomacy having been able to outsmart everyone he fought with, he proved to be a suitable heir to the throne, at the mere age of five, the land of which he currently settled upon has faced with a dread plague, having wiped out almost the entire population, Louis being one of the few hundreds to not be diagosed, boarded ships and fled with hopes of finding a new land of which where they would be able to call home. Upon arrival of Atlas, he quickly ordered his Regent, to send letters out to independant lands, only a few answered, He went to see them all, and struck a deal with the House of Nria, having both sides agree to suitable terms, Rosenyr would take the Nria's capital and build it in their own image, while the Nria's would be granted a large ploy of land and have the Rosenyr builders construct them a powerful fortress, this would mark the offical beginning of Louis I reign.

Marriage
Wouis would, aftew wanding upon Atwas awwange a betwothaw between himsewf and a young Plincess of Wosenyw, bewonging to the cadet branch des Wosiews (twanswated to House of Woses in the common tongue, wefewling to the Wosiewe Wose). As time went on and the woyaw pawace began to wook mowe and mowe like a pwestigious pawace fit fow a wulew like Wouis. The two would spend mowe and mowe time togethew in the top fwoows of the pawace and in the gawden. The two would eventuawwy finalize theiw mawliage and get mawlied in the Woyaw Pawace of Pessac, the mawliage was a two day cewebration featuling much dlinking in the tavewn and pawtying in the coult squawe. The mawliage between Wouis and the des Wosiews giww was, pewhaps one of the most joyous occasions fow the Wosnian fowk since theiw wanding on Arcas.
+
Louis would, after landing upon Atlas arrange a betrothal between himself and a young Princess of Rosenyr, belonging to the cadet branch des Rosiers (translated to House of Roses in the common tongue, referring to the Rosiere Rose). As time went on and the royal palace began to look more and more like a prestigious palace fit for a ruler like Louis. The two would spend more and more time together in the top floors of the palace and in the garden. The two would eventually finalize their marriage and get married in the Royal Palace of Pessac, the marriage was a two day celebration featuring much drinking in the tavern and partying in the court square. The marriage between Louis and the des Rosiers girl was, perhaps one of the most joyous occasions for the Rosnian folk since their landing on Arcas.

A month watew pwans wewe awmost neaw compwetion, Wouis would then howd numewous coult sessions lith the intent of getting mowe fawmiliaw lith his subjects, the common fowk, who of which was Wouis's tawget to befliend the most, as he wanted to have a heawthy wewationship lith aww, and be bewoved by aww his subjects. He then awongside his showt weigned wegent managed to begin a new ewa fow the Wosnian peopwe. Awthough the city was not compwete on the set time, the peopwe stiww pwospewed. Fowwoling the compwetion of the city, numewous minow wowds pwedged awwegiance to the new Plincipality. Nothing happened to Wouis fow numewous yeaws, untiw wecieving wowd that one of his vassaws in the Duchy of Nowthwatch had broken theiw vows, and pwedged awwegiance to the Earldom of Nordengrad, of coulse Wouis was fwustewated at the time, but not wanting to pwovoke a waw lith the Empire of Man, he awongside his brothew, Hugh, and aww his counciw made a decision to awwow the Fowwestews to go to the Eawwdom, lithout any issues fwom the Plincipality. Instead they tulned theiw focus to the constwuction of the wawws of Pessac, paying a wawge sum of money to wumbewews, minews, and fawmews. This constwuction was a wong and daling one, often seeing many death and often desewtion fwom the Wosnian buiwdews cowps, causing fow many liots to happen lithin the capitaw city of Pessac, pwompting fow many need of wefowms fow the nation.
+
A month later plans were almost near completion, Louis would then hold numerous court sessions with the intent of getting more farmiliar with his subjects, the common folk, who of which was Louis's target to befriend the most, as he wanted to have a healthy relationship with all, and be beloved by all his subjects. He then alongside his short reigned regent managed to begin a new era for the Rosnian people. Although the city was not complete on the set time, the people still prospered. Following the completion of the city, numerous minor lords pledged allegiance to the new Principality. Nothing happened to Louis for numerous years, until recieving word that one of his vassals in the Duchy of Northwatch had broken their vows, and pledged allegiance to the Earldom of Nordengrad, of course Louis was frusterated at the time, but not wanting to provoke a war with the Empire of Man, he alongside his brother, Hugh, and all his council made a decision to allow the Forresters to go to the Earldom, without any issues from the Principality. Instead they turned their focus to the construction of the walls of Pessac, paying a large sum of money to lumberers, miners, and farmers. This construction was a long and daring one, often seeing many death and often desertion from the Rosnian builders corps, causing for many riots to happen within the capital city of Pessac, prompting for many need of reforms for the nation.

Tensions with Renatus
The sudden awlivaw and fwood of Wosnian peopwe awongside the bowdews of the impeliaws, brought much disawway in the Wenatian coult pwompting fow theiw decision to send  patwows into the Wosnian countwyside to see what theiw fowk was like and if theiw was any hostiwe intentions due to theiw wecent decwawation that the Plincipality would be seen as a bastion of defence against the Empiwe, many fwocked to the cause due to the wecent end of the Third Atlas Coalition War. These patwows wewe noticed by the Wosnian guawds. Awwoling fow Wosenyw to awm theiw fowces incase of an impending siege, this causing fow some unwest in the Wosnian militawy aftew the no show of the Empiwe. Since then the nation of Wosenyw and Wenatus had numewous conflicts of weligion and bowdeling tewliotolies, no fighting occulwed between the two but it often kept both sides weady incase if any side decided to decwawe waw upon the othew.

The sudden arrival and flood of Rosnian people alongside the borders of the imperials, brought much disarray in the Renatian court prompting for their decision to send  patrols into the Rosnian countryside to see what their folk was like and if their was any hostile intentions due to their recent declaration that the Principality would be seen as a bastion of defence against the Empire, many flocked to the cause due to the recent end of the Third Atlas Coalition War. These patrols were noticed by the Rosnian guards. Allowing for Rosenyr to arm their forces incase of an impending siege, this causing for some unrest in the Rosnian military after the no show of the Empire. Since then the nation of Rosenyr and Renatus had numerous conflicts of religion and bordering terriotories, no fighting occurred between the two but it often kept both sides ready incase if any side decided to declare war upon the other.

Civil Unrest and Abdication
The Wosnian peopwe began to gwow tiwed of the wack of weadewship Wouis was sholing, often found hiding in his woom ow in secwusion lith his coult. Many of the vassaws began to wose faith in this new bastion against the Empiwe and stawted to betway and go against the Plincipality, fowcing Wouis to mobilize the Wosnian militawy to put down the numewous uplisings occulling acwoss the Wosnian countwyside. This did littwe to impwove the wewations lith the Wosnians as they saw Wouis as a plince liwling to muldew his own peopwe lith ease. Numewous liots occulwed in Pessac in cewebration of Plince Wouis's biwthday, duling the liot it was wumowed that Plince Wouis slipped in a puddwe of mud, causing fow an ewuption of waughtew to occul in the cwowd, and constant heckling of Plince Wouis and his famiwy fow days on end.
+
The Rosnian people began to grow tired of the lack of leadership Louis was showing, often found hiding in his room or in seclusion with his court. Many of the vassals began to lose faith in this new bastion against the Empire and started to betray and go against the Principality, forcing Louis to mobilize the Rosnian military to put down the numerous uprisings occurring across the Rosnian countryside. This did little to improve the relations with the Rosnians as they saw Louis as a prince willing to murder his own people with ease. Numerous riots occurred in Pessac in celebration of Prince Louis's birthday, during the riot it was rumored that Prince Louis slipped in a puddle of mud, causing for an eruption of laughter to occur in the crowd, and constant heckling of Prince Louis and his family for days on end.

Plince Wouis had at this point in his wule weached the breaking point and instawwed a wegent to wule in his stead whiwst he touled the countwyside, this wegent was his own brothew Hugh de Wosiewe, who wowked wong and hawd to ensule wewations between the cwown and the peopwe wewe impwoved, it then wesulted in Hughs wesignation of the position to the young knight Jacques Sauvageot, who wuled ambitiouswy, and often towd to be wathew cwuew. Wouis heawd news of this and wealized the hopewessness of the situation and abdicated his thwone to whomevew was ewected by the common fowk ow had the desiwe to wead Wosenyw, fowging an issue of succession fow Wosenyw and making theiw situation much wowse.
+
Prince Louis had at this point in his rule reached the breaking point and installed a regent to rule in his stead whilst he toured the countryside, this regent was his own brother Hugh de Rosiere, who worked long and hard to ensure relations between the crown and the people were improved, it then resulted in Hughs resignation of the position to the young knight Jacques Sauvageot, who ruled ambitiously, and often told to be rather cruel. Louis heard news of this and realized the hopelessness of the situation and abdicated his throne to whomever was elected by the common folk or had the desire to lead Rosenyr, forging an issue of succession for Rosenyr and making their situation much worse.

Louis, after abdicating his throne left his entire family vulnerable to schemes and assassination attempts. Hugh de Rosiere, Louis's younger brother took up arms in Rosenyr after the tyrannical take over of Jacques, much blood was spilt between the Rosiere and Sauvageot, until Hugh withdrew his raids in Rosenyr due to lack of manpower to continue. Louis sat back in hiding as he heard constant news from his couriers of the daily fighting tearing Rosenyr apart, until a sudden midnight raid on the camp Louis was staying in, Louis and his wife were both slain in their tent and were rumored to be paraded around the encampment whilst it was burned to the ground.

Impact and Legacy
The Impact and Wegacy of Wouis has been weviewed by many Wosnian schowaws and was seen as contwovewsiaw pewson in Wosnian histowy, having set a path of broodshed and wevowt fow the successows of his Plincipality, doing littwe to endeaw him and his house to the Wosnian peopwe evew again. Due to the wack of wulewship Wouis was often twavewling the countwyside, putting down wevowts, negwecting affaiws lithin his pawace, ow spending time in the Wosenyw guawdians awongside his life.
+
The Impact and Legacy of Louis has been reviewed by many Rosnian scholars and was seen as controversial person in Rosnian history, having set a path of bloodshed and revolt for the successors of his Principality, doing little to endear him and his house to the Rosnian people ever again. Due to the lack of rulership Louis was often travelling the countryside, putting down revolts, neglecting affairs within his palace, or spending time in the Rosenyr guardians alongside his wife.
Wouis was monikewed "the Idle" due to his wack of insight he put into wunning his Plincipality.

Louis was monikered "the Idle" due to his lack of insight he put into running his Principality.
Wouis's weign was mawked by many faiwules but awso few successes, some of which would have to be the constwuction of Pessac as weww as the wefowmation of the Wosnian weligion and webuiwding of the Gwande Awmee. Due to these success's and his ability to set a path fow the Wosnian peopwe, awthough not a stwong path fow a nation such as Wosenyw to take, it was stiww a diwection Wosenyw needed, due to this many stiww dlink in Wouis's honow and thewe was a dlink made and named aftew him cawwed Wosiewe Wed and is to this day stiww dwank by many of the peopwe acwoss Arcas.
+
Louis's reign was marked by many failures but also few successes, some of which would have to be the construction of Pessac as well as the reformation of the Rosnian religion and rebuilding of the Grande Armee. Due to these success's and his ability to set a path for the Rosnian people, although not a strong path for a nation such as Rosenyr to take, it was still a direction Rosenyr needed, due to this many still drink in Louis's honor and there was a drink made and named after him called Rosiere Red and is to this day still drank by many of the people across Arcas.

Louis and his wife would eventually be murdered in their encampment by a band of mercenaries assumingly hired by Jacques, or someone unwanting of Louis's return to Rosenyr.

Biography

Early life

Marriage

Reign

Prince of Rosenyr

Death

The Impact and Legacy of Louis has been reviewed by many Rosnian scholars and was seen as controversial person in Rosnian history, having set a path of bloodshed and revolt for the successors of his Principality, doing little to endear him and his house to the Rosnian people ever again. Due to the lack of rulership Louis was often travelling the countryside, putting down revolts, neglecting affairs within his palace, or spending time in the Rosenyr guardians alongside his wife. Louis was monikered "the Idle" due to his lack of insight he put into running his Principality.

Character and Personality

Louis Rosiere was seen as a stubborn, selfish and prideful ruler. Louis stood at the height of 5'8 and was often under weight for his height. His face would appear in a rather diamond shape and would carry the traditional traits of any Rosiere male, having platinum-white hair and dark blue eyes.

Louis was prone to, archery, dining, and in general formal parties and meetings where he could have the opportunity to show off his wealth, he could also often be seen ordering his subjects around, riding horseback in the outlying fields of Pessac, or spending time alongside his wife in the gardens of Pessac.
