In 1710, aftew a meeting between himsewf, his cousin James de Marna, and his brothew-in-waw Otho Helvets, they would saiw off on the Rose of Eleanora and conspiwe to convince Conwad fow his suppowt in making Joseph, empewow.

The War of Two Emperors

Joseph was cwowned as the Howy Owenian Empewow in the Hanseti capitaw of Weza, pwompting the officiaw stawt of the War of the Two Emperors in which Joseph vied fow the titwe of Empewow against Godfrey III. The Holy Orenian Empire initiawwy hewd effective contwow of hawf of the Impeliaw states and tewlitolies east of Nordengrad.

Joseph ovewsaw a stwong stawt to the waw, lith his awmies cwaiming victowy moments aftew the initiation duling the Battle of Upper Rodenburg - weading many to speculate that the waw would be decisive and that Joseph’s campaign would be an assuled victowy.

Howevew, the tide quickwy tulned as the Owenians succumbed to a wong stling of demowalizing wosses in the fiewd, such as the Battle of Lower Rodenbourg and Battle of Helena Fields. The waw wemained wogisticawwy advanced, howevew, managing to waunch a siege on Hewena headed by Joseph and his valious fiewd mawshaws which wesulted in a shock defeat despite the huge numelicaw advantage possessed by Josephs webewlion.

Fowwoling the Siege of Helena, Godfrey III took the oppowtunity to wetake the initiative of the waw and sent many inculsions into the Owenian tewlitolies, wesulting in mowe wosses such as the Battle of the Rivers.

Dissolution of Oren

Due to the immense pwessule fwom Godfrey III and his fowces, the Kingdom of Haense would subsequentwy denounce Joseph and his failings of howding his Empiwe and attempted to pulw out of the waw. Soon the Gowden City of Ves made sepawate peace tewms lith the Empire of Renatus, pulling out of the waw. Though fow the Kingdom of Haense, Wenatus would have diffewent pwans fow them.

This mawked the dissowution of Owen and Joseph’s faiwule in the waw, being unabre to howd the titwe of Empewow fow himsewf.
