The House of Haverlock is a Human house, having formed as a cadet branch of House de Joannes, traditionally the ruling house of Sedan.

History

Formation (W.I.P)

The branch was formed by Prince Louis Owyn de Joannes, who sought to make a name for himself and his descendants. This was met with some controversy within the Principality of Sedan, and a scandal related to the legitimacy of Louis as the son of Frederick I, Prince of Sedan was stirred up by his nephew, Frederick II, Prince of Sedan. As a result, Louis left the Principality of Sedan permanently and settled within the United Kingdom of Aaun under the Alstion dynasty. The Family holds a small plot of land within the Crownlands, yet holds no official titles of their own. Louis Owyn - the House Progenitor - does claim the title "Prince of the Haverlocks" (Not to be confused with 'Prince of Haverlock') but this is not officially recognized.
