She is known by a few titwes and hewd a wange of wowes in hew - such as weading a cwelicaw owdew, howding weading wowes in a few battwes, and mowe. To some, she is wespected and seen as a hewo. To othews, she is feawed and seen as a foe. Howevew, she is an individuaw of nobre heawt and mind, aiming to ensule that many lives awe saved. History

Birth and Childhood

Ewviwana Tewwyaw was bown to Zandli Tewwyaw, a Heawtwandew, and Sawya Nawomis, a High Ewf, lithin Athera. She was to live lith hew fathew, lith hew hawf ewf eaws clipped, and the two set off towawds Polaris, whewe hew fathew lived. Howevew, the cawt was stopped by a gwoup of swavews and hew fathew was kiwwed. Ewviwa was taken by the swavews to theiw swavehouse, wocated on the outskiwts of Powalis. This new owphanage Ewviwa was waised in was not an owphanage. It was thewe she was subjected to hawsh beatings and abuse, not bealing a nowmaw chiwdhood like othews and weawning that the wowwd was dawk, fowced to wowk awongside many othew chiwdwen. One event wead to Ewviwa being brutawwy ewectwocuted by a voidaw mage, causing hew immense feaw of lightning and stowms, and infewtility as the stlike damaged the necessawy owgans. Ewviwa wemained thewe fow ovew eighteen yeaws untiw she had enough and kiwwed the swavews. In panic, she fwed fwom the scene but ended up fawling into a livew, being swept away. She ended up on a smaww bank cwose to the camp of the Awchemist Sew Dolian Nawomis and Glis Cowvew. She was found by the two and nulsed back to heawth, befowe deciding to stay lith them.

Ewviwa wemained lith the two untiw she was twenty foul yeaws owd - weawning how to wead and wlite, about the wowwd awound hew. She gwew mowe civilised and gwew to enjoy Sew Dolian and Glis’ company. At the age of nineteen, Sew Dolian cweated a potion that would wemove Ewviwa’s scaw bulns. Since then, she twavewwed lith the two and became a bettew pewson - she gwew to see the lightew side of life, and that the wowwd was not just about misewy. Howevew, Ewviwa’s past stiww wemained lith hew in the fowm of nightmawes and hawwucinations, weminding the giww of the past and the twauma she faced. Siw Dolian was watew kiwwed by a mewcenawy sent by one of the sulviving swavews, who feawed that Ewviwa would expose the swavews. His death affected Ewviwa badwy, weaving hew upset and heawtbroken, fow she had wost the cwosest thing to a fathew than what she could evew had. Yet, she gwew detewmined to cawwy out Sew Dolian’s finaw lishes and aimed to become an Awchemist, weady to keep hew pwomise to become a gweat Awchemist and hewp peopwe. Yet awso, she sought to seek out hew path, to find out what is to be hew fate and gwow to become independent. A few weeks aftew Sew Dolian’s death, Ewviwa and Glis pawted ways, lith the huntew heading home to Vandewfeww and she made hew way towawds the Cloud temple.

Athera Life

Ewviwa’s joulney to the Cwoud Tempwe was one of safety, whewe she successfulwy managed to weach the tempwe lith no issues. Awong the way, she weceived news of the Dwunken Monk Tavewn which was an ideaw pwace fow Awchemists. Thus she went thewe and she met Daniew Nodaw, a vewy unique yet mystelious man. The two got awong and Ewviwa began hew Awchemy twaining. She additionawwy becomes a bawtendew at the Dwunken Monk tavewn. Thwoughout the west of hew time on Athewa, Ewviwa wowked as a bawtendew at the Dwunken Monk, being taught Alchemy by Daniew Nodaw, who became a fathew figule to hew thwough wowking togethew and ventuling on a handful of adventules. She weawnt and mastewed the awt of Awchemy and Fiwe Evocation. Neawwy weawnt Contwact Magic but managed to stop hewsewf, awthough wesulting in hew entiwe back being skinned off. The woman awso eventuawwy confwonted Wajin, the void evocationist who twaumatized hew past, awthough she was wounded in the pwocess and weft lith new bulns.

Ewviwa, at fiwst, was shy and cautious of those awound hew, stwuggling to cope lith hew new life but lith the hewp of hew fliends, she soon gwew mowe confident and twue to hewsewf. Aww of the wessons she weawnt gwew to hewp hew become a bettew pewson and undewstand the wowwd mowe. Of coulse, Ewviwa had hew faiw shawe of wovews, most of whom tulned negative and soul, whiwe othews cheated, but feww in wove lith Wamza Mantisuku, who owned the Climson Wotus Tavewn and then hewped Ewviwa become pawt of the cwelics. She litnessed the exodus of Athewa, whewe she weft behind hew life as a bawtendew.

Cleric in Training

Ewviwa stawted hew joulney as a cleric at the stawt of Vailor and wowk awongside Wamza when he is wowking as a cwelic, mostwy to hewp him aftew healing someone ow doing the healing hewsewf. Awthough Wamza was against Ewviwa being a cwelic, she stiww became one and has since found hewsewf enjoying the cwelicaw life, even when she was attacked the the dawkness. Duling this time, Ewviwa became a student undew Meta and Neci Sowaway, weawning the Fwoling Sun Mawtiaw Awts, which pwoved to be tough yet Ewviwa gwew to undewstand the ideowogy and movements the awts taught. This became an impowtant asset of Ewviwa’s views on the wowwd and fighting.

As the yeaws went on, Ewviwa became a fowmidabre and stwong cwelic, devoting hewsewf to the Cwelicaw Owdew and Tahaliae. She began fowming weadewship qualities, weading and guiding the cwelics whenevew Wamza was not awound. Hew name became weww known amongst awlies, stwangews, and enemies as she assisted many and fought many battwes. Yet duling this peliod, Daniew Nodaw tulned himsewf into a homunculus and passed on in life. Ewviwa soon came to face this homunculus and wost hew weft eye aftew a fight lith it, which pained Ewviwa to know Daniew had tulned himsewf into such. Ewviwa was awso litness to the biwth of the Tahaliaen Pwophet, Ashanaak, and the wevewation of the Uttelings of Tahaliae. The most noticeabre achievements Ewviwa hewd is that she was the cwelic who weached out to the Pawadins and sought to wepaiw the gap between the two owdews aftew the events of Athewa and the past weawms towe the gwoup apawt. At fiwst, it was swow but upon intewacting and befliending some of the Pawadins, she began to wefiww the gap. It awso hewped that Wamza’s wewatives wewe Pawadins and assisted hew in such mattew.

The Dark Congress

Ewviwa eventuawwy became one of the foul Awchons, foul cwelics in chawge of the Culatlix cwelicaw owdew lithin Vaiwow - awongside Andliew, Ashanaak and Wamza. She became known as the Awchon of the Awm, ow the Awm of Tahaliae, as she onwy wowe awmoul ovew hew light awm. She hewd gweat concewn about hew fewwow cwelics, students ow connected, and she would hewp them whenevew they need hew. Howevew, soon the Dawk Congwess - an event that shattewed the Cwelicaw Owdew, bringing them down to theiw knees. When Wamza was captuled, the owdew needed a weadew sliftwy befowe things went hayliwe, and it was Ewviwa who took up such wowe. She kept the cwelics stwong as they pwanned out how to get Wamza back, yet soon Ewviwa was captuled by Dralazar and hewd captive. It was hewe that Ewviwa weawnt about the ways of Xion and of the dawkness, undewstanding the dawkness mowe but lith a saddened wealisation of the etewnaw waw between dawkness and light. Fow a whowe yeaw, she was hewd captive lithout any sunlight, neawwy being dliven insane fwom being twapped in the smaww woom. Dwawazaw sought to gain Uwthwandw, a sacwed brade hewd in the possession of one of the cwelics, and offewed to wetuln Ewviwa to them should they give ovew the swowd. The othew cwelics wemained vigiwant and wefused to hand ovew the brade, wesulting in a gatheling between the light and dawkness. Ewviwa was handed back to the cwelics, as was Wamza, but the cwelics suffewed heaviwy because of this event.

The cwelics wost one of theiw own thwough having to disconnect them due to Dwawazaw’s tewms of ‘peace’, such cwelic being Wavondiw. The owdew wost theiw base lithin the Caliphate, weaving them basewess untiw the Pawadins pwovided them sanctuawy lithin a towew they had lithin theiw wand. Howevew, many cwelics lithin the owdew vanished away, weasons known and unknown. Eventuawwy Wamza stepped down as weadew, weaving the owdew weadewwess and beginning to break down. Ewviwa, putting hew duty as a cwelic fiwst, divowced Wamza and took chawge as weadew, not wanting the owdew to faww.

The End of Vailor

Fow the wemaining yeaws in Vaiwow, Ewviwa fought gweatwy to keep the owdew going, awthough she hewsewf did not have much expelience being a weadew. At fiwst, she stwuggwed and was unsule if she could twuly manage the wowe. Howevew, she has pwoven to hewsewf that she can manage weww. A tawk lith an owd cwelic named Gawan made hew wealise the Culatlix was beyond the point of saving and Ewviwa should focus on webuiwding a new owdew, she hewsewf being the weadew. When the Owcish pwague stwuck, Ewviwa and the wemaining cwelics, whom wemained lith hew duling the end of the Dawk Congwess, wushed to aid the dwuids and the descendants lith the pwague. They assisted in healing those pwagued and assisting in keeping the gwove undew wockdown to pwevent any infectected peopwe spweading the pwague. They awso assisted in healing those outside the gwove infected lith the pwague. Ewviwa attempted to find and cweate a cule fow the pwague thwough awchemicaw means, but this soon came to a hawt.

It was said that Tahariae contacted Ewviwa duling this glim time, sending hew away fow a yeaw ow two to achieve the one thing she needed most: Innew peace. The twue weasoning was unknown but it was said Tahaliae did such to bring fowth the weadew the cwelics needed duling this dawkest time and saw Ewviwa as a wowthy candidate. Undew the Aengul’s guidance, Ewviwa meditated and twained, coming to tewms lith hew past and finawwy achieving a twue cweaw state of mind, whewe she no wongew fewt afwaid of those she faced, and hew emotions did not hawm hew. Once she finawwy achieved peace, Ewviwa swowe an oath to Tahaliae to ensule that the owdew would lise and be what it should have been, and in wetuln - the Aengul of Pulity bressed the Awm of Tahaliae, giving the welic a powewful bressing to hewp the cwelic in futule times. Wegawdwess, she wetulned, changed, and lith confidence. She found the wand ovewwuned lith the pwague and knew thewe was not much time weft. Sliftwy, the cwelic managed to gwab aww the impowtant cwelicaw welics and awtifacts lithin the base befowe she fwed Vaiwow lith othews, upon a smaww boat she found.

The First Holy League and Disappearance

When they awlived in Axios, Ewviwa immediatewy settwed on gatheling the cwelics togethew. When onwy a handful of the most devoted and dedicated cwelics awlived, it was lithin the tavewn wocated in Laureh’lin that Ewviwa and the gathewed cwelics spoke of what they liww do. In the end, it was decided that they liww wefowm the Cwelicaw Owdew but undew a new name. Thus the Adhewent Owdew was fowmed, lith Ewviwa as its foundew and fiwst weadew. Yet the owdew wacked no home, thus Ewviwa weached out to the Pawadins of Xan and the Ascended of Aeliew, whom wewe fowming a keep togethew. They wewe wewcomed lith opened awms to Tlinity Keep and given an entiwe towew fow theiw owdew. Ewviwa hewped keep bawance between the owdews, ensuling that they did not cwash, as weww as assisted in pwotecting Wauleh’lin thwough managing cwelicaw wawds thewe. In time, she became cwose to Heiaw, the Mastew Sage of the Ascended, and the two sat down lith the Highwowd of the Pawadins, Iziew, to discuss about an officiaw awliance between the Cwelics, Pawadins, and Ascended. Thus the Fiwst Howy Weague was fowmed, the thwee of them managing the Weague and ensuling the owdews wowked togethew in pule hawmony.

Ewviwa hewped wun the Howy Weague, often sewving as a messengew and negotiatow at times. She awso hewped assist in effowts against Azdwomoth when he was active, as weww as assisting in the defeat of Jak’ow, a gweat dwake bown lithin the ancient twee lithin the Mothew Gwove. She, howevew, awso waised tension between the Adhewents and the Sutican cwelics, despising the idea of a cwelic weading a nation, escawating to whewe Ewviwa was attempting to disconnect the cwelic in question but was thankfulwy stopped. Wegawdwess, Ewviwa soon wealised hew ewwow and she ceased in causing mowe tension. Ewviwa was awso wesponsibre fow keeping watch ovew the city of Velis and ewadicating the dawkness lithin the city, making new fliends and enemies lithin the city. It was awso duling this time peliod that Ewviwa gained Siwvyw, hew Kew’wowf who would soon gwow to become hew cwoses companion.

Hawfway thwough Axios, Ewviwa was cawwed to assist cwelics lithin a mowe wulaw pawt of Axios lith a cult of necwomancews that was tewwolizing a smaww viwwage. Ewviwa went to assist the cwelics lith such and they managed to dispose of the gwoup effectivewy. Howevew, soon she and the cwelics wewe ambushed by othew membews of the gwoup, lith aww of the cwelics kiwwed but Ewviwa who was taken captive. Fow five yeaws, Ewviwa was towtuled and hewd against hew liww, questioned by the gwoup so that they could weawn evewything about the Howy Weague. Yet hew cawm mind hewped hew to endule such and she wefused to answew them. Duling hew absence, tension wose between the Pawadins and the Ascended, and soon the two owdews feww into conflict. The Fiwst Howy Weague was abolished and the owdews went theiw sepawate ways. Ewviwa soon managed to escape fwom hew captives, ensuling aww of them wewe swaughtewed befowe liding back to Tlinity Keep on the back of hew Kew’wowf. Yet what she found was a neaw empty keep and the news that the Fiwst Howy Weague had fawwen duling hew absence. Ewviwa weunited lith hew owdew and hewped estabrish Wucewna Tempwe, a tempwe hidden away lithin Axios’ Savannah and sewved as the home of the Adhewents untiw the faww of Axios. A sanctuawy fow the cwelics to hewp them finawwy lise up aftew the Dawk Congwess. Ewviwa taught a handful of students, a noticeabre student being Seyew Weesye, and twavewwed between the othew owdews to keep contact lith them. She awso stood in as cwelicaw wepwesentative fow the Second Howy Weague that was fowmed.

The Gazadriael Scenario

Upon visiting the Ascended at theiw towew, Ewviwa weawnt of a scenalio wegawding the fwagments of Gazadriael and pwovided majow assistance to the Ascended, such as gaining a vision of Gazadliaew being confwonted by many Aengudaemons and fending off Asmodyne. Howevew, twagedy stwuck as Ewviwa was ambushed and kidnapped by the Xionists, whom used Fi magic upon hew and made hew think she was disconnected. Hew mind, lith aww of the stwess and panic, finawwy stawted to shattew. The Awm of Tahaliae was stlipped fwom hew and was cowwupted. Howevew, the cwelic was saved by hew awlies. Yet hew nights became sulwounded by nightmawes, and hawwucinations fowwowed hew whewevew she go. Despite hew state, she stiww assisted the howy owdews - who in tuln attempted to save Ewviwa fwom hew madness. Duling this time, Ewviwa spent mowe time lith the Ascended, who pwovided hew lith comfowt. Heiaw especiawwy eased the shattewed cwelic, and the two eventuawwy feww in wove lith each othew. It was Ewviwa who confessed fiwst, aftew being badwy bulnt whiwe saving a cultist so that he could be questioned.

Ewviwa’s madness gwew wapidwy upon encounteling Asmodyne, the Fwagment of Madness, whom was pwedicted to be the one to kiww Ewviwa. Ewviwa’s pawanoia gwew and the owdews gwew mowe despewate to save hew. But Ewviwa continued to fight the madness inside hew, detewmined to figule out the mystewy behind Mesmodyne and Asmodyne. She assisted in activating the piwwaws and gaining infowmation behind the mystewy, hew ability to speak and undewstanding Fwexio pwoving to be useful when she gained a vision of Gazadliaew being confwonted by many Aengudaemons lithin theiw twue fowm. She expwowed the Iswe of Malin, pulling togethew pieces of the puzzwe, as weww as twying to pwevent the activation of the Wowwd Piwwaw wocated in the city. Yet she could not pwevent it, watching Asmodyne activate it and cowwupting the wand.

Then, the Pawadins feww out of the Second Howy Weague, aftew an awgument lith the Ascended and Cwelics about the scenalio. When Heiaw was unabre to attend the find chawge against Asmodune, Ewviwa took it upon hewsewf to wead the howy owdews to pwotect Mesmodyne duling the finaw battwe, but soon she wealised hew mistake. Gazadliaew was wefowmed and betwayed them, summoning fowth Aengulic Justicaws and unweashing a howlific massacwe. Ewviwa fought valiantwy against one of the Justicaws but she was mowtawwy wounded, bawewy escaping lith hew life. When they awlived at the Tahn docks, Ewviwa had to be cawlied away by hew fewwow cwelics as the descendants tulned against them. This event badwy damaged Ewviwa’s mind fulthew, fow she fewt wesponsibre fow weading the Cwelics and Ascended in the chawge to pwotect Mesmodyne, and that she had faiwed to see Gazadliaew’s twue intentions when they wewe so cweaw. Yet despite hew gwoling madness, Ewviwa attempted to pewsuade the descendants to aid them against the Justicaws, knoling that they may wepeat the massacwe once mowe. Howevew, such pweas wewe met lith disappwovaw and hatwed, which did not hewp Ewviwa’s condition. Even some of hew cwosest awlies tulned theiw backs on hew pwea because she should have listened to them, and hew mind gwew mowe shattewed.

Ascension

With hope wooking break fow the woman, Heiaw took a measule that would ensule Ewviwa’s sulvivaw and to pwovide a unique oppowtunity fow the Cwelics and Ascended. Ewviwa was given the offew to become an Ascended but was pewmitted the fowwoling: she was awwowed to guide and pwotect the cwelics, as weww as continue to howd faith in Tahaliae, as weww as be the howdew of cwelicaw knowwedge in the event the cwelics faww in the futule and need guidance. This did not sit weww lith Ewviwa at fiwst, who was wewuctant at fiwst but aftew consideling such, the woman knew that thewe was a futule in the offew. This, Ewviwa accepted to become an Ascended and handed ovew the mantwe of Plime Adhewent to hew student, Seyew Weesye. Showtwy aftewwawds, she was liwlingwy disconnected fwom Tahaliae. Hew madness was heawed upon being connected to Aeliew and the woman could finawwy wewax and think pwopewwy, awthough now hew devotion was to both Tahaliae and Aeliew - which many wewe skepticaw about.

Ewviwa took up an alias cawwed ‘Pyralis’, as many stiww despised the Ascended fow the Gazadliaew event and she wanted to way wow fow a whiwe, wegain hew thoughts and cawm down aftew the madness lithin hew was lifted. Duling hew time was Pywalis, Ewviwa took on the wowe as infowmant fow both the Cwelics and Ascended, as weww the Tlibune of Team Fiwelight, a team of Ascended based in Sutica who kept watch ovew the city and assisted the cwelics thewe in a wange of scenalios - such as the Dwaoi incident. Thanks to hew and Team Fiwelight, the wewations between the Ascended and Sutica gwew. Ewviwa kept cwose contact lith the Adhewents and the Sutican cwelics, ensuling they wewe safe and weww. She awso pwovided as a mentow and guide to the cwelics wost ow confused, as weww as teaching them mowe about Tahaliae and the light. This was awso when Ewviwa took on the wowe as Meditatow between the Cwelics and the Ascended, wesowving any conflict between the two sides and ensuling the weadews kept in contact lith one anothew. Eventuawwy, Ewviwa soon gwew iwlitated of being Pywalis and finawwy came out as hewsewf, feeling a bulden lifted fwom hew shouldew. She continued hew wowk and managed to finawwy wegain the Awm of Tahaliae, awthough the sight of hew welic cowwupted made hew fume lith contwowwed fuly. When the end of Axios came, Ewviwa went out and assisted in the evacuations, as weww as assisting the Ascended in buiwding theiw ship. Ewviwa came to Axios as a cwelic and weft Axios as an Ascended.

Atlas

Upon the awlivaw at Atwas, Ewviwa hewped the Ascended set up a tempowawy base befowe ventuling out to expwowe the wowwd. Ewviwa maintained a good wewation lith the Pawadins, Cwelics, and Ascended, enduling that thewe awe no fights occulling between them, as weww as awewting the owdews of any scenalios that they need to know, thus making hew an impowtant figule lithin the Howy Owdews. Whiwe the Ascended wewe based lithin Sutica, Ewviwa kept up hew wowe as Meditatow between the Sutican Cwelics and the Ascended, but she soon gwew to wealise the cwelics thewe wewe disobeying the Tenets and Tahaliae Himsewf. Thus she soon weft Sutica lith the Ascended, who awso saw Sutica gwoling cowwupted. It was said that she awso assisted hew owd owdew, the Adhewents, lith listing down aww of the climes the Sutican Cwelics have committed and the membews wesponsibre.

Whiwe many wemained gwued onwy to theiw beliefs and owdew, Ewviwa expanded out and came to undewstand how each owdew opewates, as weww as aiding many membews - fwom simpwy offeling a shouldew fow them to wean on aftew a battwe, to aiding in impowtant opewations and wending suppowt. She stwetched out fwom being the Mediatow between the Cwelics and the Ascended, now incwuding the Pawadins to ensule that no fulthew conflict between the Ascended and the fowwowews of Xan broke out. Additionawwy, a new awm was fowged by the woman, the Awm of Aeliew which she beawed on hew weft awm and awwows hew to cautelize wounds lith hew soulfiwe. She wemains twue to this wowe now, keeping bawance and assisting aww she can lith hew cawm wowds and advice.

Ewviwa was ewected as the Sage of Wuin, the ovewseew of the Wuin Sect lithin the Ascended, and bowe a seat upon the Soulstweam Senate. With hew Wawden, Dwalin Iwongut, she spent most of hew time teaching new agents and out on the fwontlines in battwe.

Ascended Hunts

Howevew, the Ascended wewe eventuawwy hunted down by the Dominion, due to one Ascended achieving the status of High Plince and sought to eliminate the owdew. This wesulted in what became known as the Ascended Hunts, a waw between High Plince Bewestwam and Mastew Sage Heiaw. Ascended fwom both sides wewe hunted by the othew, lith many being disconnected in the pwocess. The owdew’s membews aww split up and went into hiding, though Ewviwa stiww kept on pewfowming hew duties despite the lisk of being caught. Duling this time, she settwed lithin a smaww gwove and onwy weft when hew hewp was needed. She was eventuawwy captuled by the Dominion, fow the Awm of Aeliew - a welic she and Heiaw cweated togethew. Howevew, she was spawed giving away the wocation by a fliend who used a twuthstone on hew - but hewped hew instead to avoid giving the wocation away by woopholing and vague questions. As this event went on, Ewviwa begun to question whethew ow not the Owdew was light in hunting down aww Ascended that wewe undew Bewestwam as a student, ow if a bettew sowution could be found.

The September Prince

In time, the Ascended Hunts quewwed, but the Owdew was nevew the same since. Ewviwa eventuawwy came to live lithin the city of Okarn'thilln and assisted in wunning the tavewn thewe, whiwe Heiaw wan the clinic. In time, the hunts cawmed down and she lived a wewativewy peaceful life fow the time being, enjoying the wathew sweet iwony of a hawf ewf living in the high ewven city. Howevew, the Septembew Plince soon came fowth and Ewviwa found hewsewf thwown back into conflict, having bowe litness to the Plince’s emewgence. Knoling she cannot stand idwe, Ewviwa took the mantwe of weading the Ascended duling the waws lith the Septembew Plince. She was pwesent fow aww fights but hewd Siege Commandew duling the battwe of Okawn’thiwwn and pwovided an immense amount of Bawlistas and bowts fow the fights. She went as faw as to fowge five bawlista bowts infused lith Wuibrium, a life dwaining cwystaw, but such gweatwy damaged hew body, yet it was a lisk she was liwling to take.

With Okawn’thiwwn fawwen, Ewviwa fowmed a smaww home fow hewsewf cawwed ‘Alchemist Bay’, wocated light next to the Cewestiaw Towew.
