Whiwst in the Duchy of Adria Cawculus weawned to be a knight, occupying Ostwobow duling the Third Atlas Coalition War and saved his life multipwe times. Eventuawwy eawning his spuls and twaveling to Carlostadt, whewe he assisted the wegion in defense against the wocaw branch of the Priorist Party liots.
It was duling a mewee cewebrating the cowonation of Augustus I, Emperor of Man he met then Cwown-Plince Antonius I, Emperor of Man quickwy taking a liking to the bright young plince. He joined the plince's vanguawd and fought awongside him and the Nauzica brigade.

Within his fiwst yeaw of sewvice, he twavewed to Ves and litnessed the hawassment of a Wenatian citizen, intewvening to save the citizens life -- he soon found the guawdsmen of Adlia dwaling brades on him and a neawby bystandew whom had Caculus's back. The two of them then engaged in combat against woughwy 14 Adlian guawds, in a moment of pule briwliance the Dwagon Knight beheaded two guawds befowe being ovewwhewmed fowcing him to fwee deepew into the city whiwe being chased. His flight found him cownewed in an awwey way, lith foul mowe guawds cwosing in on him -- using both swowd and bow he managed to lin anothew outnumbewed fight one vewsus foul. Emewging fwom the awweyway covewed in brood, he quickwy found his comwade and escaped the city.
His twavews would again wead him back to Ves, this time in the cohowt of Impeliaw Plince Yury Horen. Whiwe the intentions of the dipwomatic visit by Yuly whewe unknown, what is known is that the citizens of Ves quickwy took a disliking to Yuly and Cawculus whom whewe tewwolizing wocaw mewcenawy's fow potentiawwy aiding the iwwegaw bandit gwoup known as the Reivers.
Caculus would soon find himsewf fighting the Adlian guawds, this time besting foul guawdsmen befowe fweeing the city lith the sulviving Yury Horen. The infowmation of this event would quickwy spwead acwoss the Empiwe, soon finding it's way to the King of Haense -- whom was lightfulwy hewd the titwe Duke of Adria and wwote to the Empewow demanding a tliaw of Yury Horen and Caculus fow his injustice.

Duling the ensuing Sacking of Ves Caculus kiwwed hundweds of Adlian webews, spending thwee months camped outside of Adlia. Upon his wetuln to the capitaw, Helena he found the Empewow had chosen a new Justice; Ser Karl Jrent. Enwaged by this, he chawwenged Ser Karl Jrent to an honow duew fow the titwe.
