Gaining Knighthood

Whilst in the Duchy of Adria Calculus learned to be a knight, occupying Ostrobor during the Third Atlas Coalition War and saved his life multiple times. Eventually earning his spurs and traveling to Carlostadt, where he assisted the legion in defense against the local branch of the Priorist Party riots.

It was during a melee celebrating the coronation of Augustus I, Emperor of Man he met then Crown-Prince Antonius I, Emperor of Man quickly taking a liking to the bright young prince. He joined the prince's vanguard and fought alongside him and the Nauzica brigade.

Dragon Knight

Upon the coronation of Antonius I, Emperor of Man Calculus was selected as a Dragon Knight and soon earned the honors as the Emperor's Justice; His Imperial Majesty's most trusted knight.

Within his first year of service, he traveled to Ves and witnessed the harassment of a Renatian citizen, intervening to save the citizens life -- he soon found the guardsmen of Adria drawing blades on him and a nearby bystander whom had Caculus's back. The two of them then engaged in combat against roughly 14 Adrian guards, in a moment of pure brilliance the Dragon Knight beheaded two guards before being overwhelmed forcing him to flee deeper into the city while being chased. His flight found him cornered in an alley way, with four more guards closing in on him -- using both sword and bow he managed to win another outnumbered fight one versus four. Emerging from the alleyway covered in blood, he quickly found his comrade and escaped the city.

His travels would again lead him back to Ves, this time in the cohort of Imperial Prince Yury Horen. While the intentions of the diplomatic visit by Yury where unknown, what is known is that the citizens of Ves quickly took a disliking to Yury and Calculus whom where terrorizing local mercenary's for potentially aiding the illegal bandit group known as the Reivers.

Caculus would soon find himself fighting the Adrian guards, this time besting four guardsmen before fleeing the city with the surviving Yury Horen. The information of this event would quickly spread across the Empire, soon finding it's way to the King of Haense -- whom was rightfully held the title Duke of Adria and wrote to the Emperor demanding a trial of Yury Horen and Caculus for his injustice.

Death

During the ensuing Sacking of Ves Caculus killed hundreds of Adrian rebels, spending three months camped outside of Adria. Upon his return to the capital, Helena he found the Emperor had chosen a new Justice; Ser Karl Jrent. Enraged by this, he challenged Ser Karl Jrent to an honor duel for the title. Most believed Caculus would win, as he was known as one of the best swordsmen in Arcas at the time.

The bloody duel began in the gardens of the Helena palace, lasting only six minutes before Ser Karl Jrent dealt the killing blow to Calculus.
