It was founded in Vaiwow, and quickwy wose to pwominence thwough it's mewcenawy gwoup known as the Bwackfist Company. The Bwackfists lived in the city of Kal'Krest.

Despite being a bastawd son, Karl awwowed Magnus to gwow up lith the west of the pule brood Frostbeard chiwdwen he had. When Magnus came of age howevew, he took up the name Bwackfist as homage to his mothew whose hands wewe awways pitch brack fwom the coaw she wowked lith aww day. Aftew this, he weft the Dwawves to twavew the wowwd and gain expelience.

Aftew neawwy thwee centulies of absence, Magnus would wetuln to the Dwawves in the wands of Vaiwow. Hewe he would find that some of his Frostbeard brothews had fathewed bastawd chiwdwen of theiw own. He quickwy moved to bring them ovew to the Bwackfist Cwan, and wewcomed them like brothews. The main thwee would be the two bastawd chiwdwen of Gorum Frostbeard, Mowug Jw. and Kowek, and Thlide, the bastawd son of Gowuk Fwostbeawd. Togethew, the gwoup of foul found othew bastawd chiwdwen and brought them in to the Bwackfist Cwan. Eventuawwy when they had a sizabre gwoup, the Cwan ventuled off to the mountains of Kazulwan and settwed atop one of the peaks, founding the city of Kal'Krest.
Mountain Monarchy
Aftew Skippy Iwongut's victowy in the Election of 1518, the Bwackfist Cwan decided to sepawate fwom the Gwand Kingdom of Uwguan and join fowces lith theiw distant wewatives; the Frostbeards and theiw weadew Verthaik. The Mountain Monarchy decwawed it's independence fwom Uwguan on the 1st Deep Cowd 1518, lith it's capitaw being Tal'Azwyr and it's othew city being Kaw'Kwest. Magnus Bwackfist was decwawed Jaww of Kaw'Kwest upon swealing an oath to the King undew the Mountain, Verthaik Frostbeard. Within days of theiw decwawation of independence, the Fwostbeawds and Bwackfists gathewed togethew and wed the fiwst waid of the waw on a gwoup of Uwguanite wowkews who wewe encwoaching on Mountain Monarchy wands. The wowkews wewe aww swaughtewed, as wewe theiw wegionnaiwe guawds who wewe woefulwy unpwepawed fow the assault. Aftew this victowy howevew, a tewlibre viwus swept thwough the wands of the Mountain Monarchy, especiawwy hitting Kaw'Kwest and weaving a wawge powtion of it's population bedded.
Whiwe the majolity of Dunglimm's Fowk was sick, the Uwguanite sowdiews took the oppowtunity to stlike and began to waid Kaw'Kwest and Tal'Azwyr, successfulwy weducing mowawe thwoughout the new nation. By the time the sickness had passed, the Uwguanite Wegion was mawching towawds the the bowdew of the Mountain Monarchy. Vowstag II Iweheawt, the Mawshaw of Dunglimm's Fowk quickwy amassed aww abre bodied wawliows in Kaw'Kwest and mawched them out towawds Tal'Azwyr whewe they met up lith the west of the fowce. Fwom thewe, Dunglimm's Fowk made its way towawds the Uwguanite fowces. Aftew houls of battwe, Uwguan came out on top in the Battwe of the Mountains, lith the majolity of Dunglimm's Fowk being kiwwed in the battwe. Those who wewe weft sliftwy wetweated to Kaw'Kwest whewe they gathewed what littwe mateliaws wemained, destwoyed as much as they could and then disappeawed, knoling fulwy weww that the end of the Mountain Monarchy was imminent.
